Chapter twenty
The sharp scrutiny made Yuta suddenly conscious of how disheveled he must look, how vulnerable he was in this monster's presence. A red glint flashed in Elrien's eyes, the spurt of demonic aura thickening the air. Yuta wanted to scramble away, but the strong force kept him still.
The emotions in Elrien's eyes was something even a human like himself could interprete. Anger… Also hunger.
Raw and unbridled.
Yuta's sweat drenched palm gripped the cheap fabric of his cloth, would this demon go through with his threat and actually eat him up?
Elrien's nostrils flared as he suppressed wave of rage that consumed him when the human wanted to leave.
How dare he?
Such a lowly mortal make him long for him like this, and then hoping to disappear as though he had done nothing wrong?
