Chapter 6 - Normal People Often Gets Bullied

Seven Days Later;

"It's done."

Oak opened his eyes and shouted with excitement.

After seven days of constant strengthening, he had finally reached the limit of his body.

Feeling the excitement, he walked out of his room and went to a training ground. There were several training dummies.

There were also some students testing their strength.

Oak ignored them and walked up to a dummy on the side. He clenched his fist and crouched down.

He pulled back his fist before charging forward with all of his strength.

Bang!

He struck so hard that the cloth on the dummy got torn apart and the metal underneath got bent. A nearly two-inch deep bump was carved on the metal body.

"Did you see that? He caused a two-inch deep dump."

"How do you know it's two inches deep?"

"Because I have good eyes."

"Oh, I remember you also came to test it and only made an inch deep hole. But damn! Who is this guy? He is not a cultivator, but he can carve such a deep hole."

"He must be a new student. Wait, is that Arvin? Why is he moving towards the newbie?"

'Wow! I created such a deep hole. When I tried my strength before the strengthening, I couldn't even make a dent even after a year of training.'

'But with just eight days of strengthening, I can cause so much damage. Is this the power of a cultivator?'

Oak felt awe at his punch. Because even now, he hadn't fully adjusted to the cultivation world.

So, for him, it shouldn't be possible to make such a deep hole in a metal sheet with a punch.

But he did it. And it was the result of ten days of training and eight days of strengthening.

"Nice punch!"

Oak heard a compliment from behind and turned around in shock.

He saw a young man standing behind him. He had a sword on his back and wore blue clothes.

This seemed similar to the sets of clothes he was given by the Second Elder.

He hadn't tried it yet, but he had checked them before.

He remembered something and quickly bowed his head.

"Thank you for your compliment, Senior Brother!"

Senior Brother was a respectful way of addressing someone stronger than you. He had memorized it before he even came to this sect.

"Although you are not a cultivator yet, you have a lot of strength. I am establishing a group to enter the Eastern Wilderness Range. We need a coolie. I can give you five bottles of Essence Pill."

"They will be important for your cultivation. Tomorrow morning, I will send someone to call you."

Hearing his words, Oak's expression sank instantly. Because this person wasn't even asking for his opinion.

He was just telling him to do it.

He didn't want to accept it, but his reason told him he had no other choice. Because if he rejected him, he would be in deep trouble.

He knew what it meant to offend someone stronger than him. He didn't want to cause trouble for himself and even less for his family.

"Yes, Senior Brother!"

Arvin nodded his head and left. Originally, he was just walking around the training ground aimlessly but he didn't expect to find a perfect candidate for a coolie.

Because he couldn't store a large number of Monster Beasts inside his Storage Bag, he needed someone to do it for him.

Naturally, he was going to ask new students.

As for their rejecting him, he didn't consider that possibility. But of course, he wasn't an idiot. He wouldn't ask the children of those elders.

Otherwise, he would be asking for trouble.

Oak was left alone. He clenched his fists for a moment before loosening them with a sigh.

He couldn't go against this person. Although he wasn't sure what this person's strength was, he knew it was above him.

That's all that mattered.

Even if this person couldn't kill him, he could make his life worse.

More importantly, he could also attack his parents or make someone attack his parents.

"Junior Brother, don't try to go against this person. He is an arrogant guy who looks down on most people. He is also a person with Four Stars Martial Spirit."

"Within just a year, he had already reached the Third Rank. His name is Arvin. His father is a Sixth rank Cultivator."

Two students who were watching this from afar came forward and advised him. They could see his condition, but they couldn't offer more.

"Thank you for your advice, Senior Brother."

Oak nodded his head and bowed towards them before leaving the training ground.

The joy he felt before vanished once again.

He tried not to think about it as it would only make him angrier. Instead, he began to read the Phoenix Sword Art.

This skill was an exciting sword skill that required immense physical strength to pull off.

As he read more, the gloominess in his face disappeared, replaced by excitement.

While he couldn't cultivate today, he could comprehend this Sword Art and train it on his way.

Phoenix Sword Art was divided into three stages.

The First Stage was about wielding a sword to slash someone. It didn't require much comprehension, but the basics of the sword.

Fortunately, he had practiced swordsmanship with his parents. So, he wasn't a beginner at that.

The Second Stage included something more. It required him to unlock the Sixth Sense.

Only by unlocking the Sixth Sense, one could feel the surroundings, hear the smallest noise, see micro movements, and even feel his spirituality.

Every person has spirituality. Because they possessed a soul. But only those with the Sixth Sense could feel their spirituality and use to as a weapon.

To achieve this level, one must train enough to feel the change of wind, hear the sound of mosquitoes flapping with the ears closed, and see through the weak point of an object.

Only then could one unlock the Sixth Sense. Of course, this was just a systematic method.

There was a much easier way.

Going through life and death situations allowed a person to awaken their Sixth Sense and achieve this stage.

In this stage, their body would have such fine control that they could cut through metal like cutting through butter.

The Third Stage required him to generate that level of control with an immense strength to slash so hard that the air itself accumulates into a slash that can tear through metal.

This was also the final stage and the stage where he could send flying slashes. But this stage had another surprise.

Because if a person had reached this stage, this person had comprehended the Pseudo Sword Intent.

It meant their sword slashes were so sharp that they could tear through anything. Of course, Pseudo Sword Intent had a limit that it couldn't tear through things that had a large amount of Internal Strength.

Unlike Sword Intent, which had the power to tear through even a highly concentrated defense of Internal Strength.

Upon learning this, Oak's mood slowly stabilized. While he didn't consider himself a genius, he didn't have any problem learning these things.

It might have had something to do with his soul being that of an adult or simply the knowledge he learned from his previous life.

What truly fascinated him was that this skill had almost nothing to do with Internal Strength.

Most of the Skills weren't like that.

They required a lot of internal strength to produce a certain effect. Only this skill requires raw physical strength.

The higher one's strength was, the better the result one would get.

Considering that he already had the strength to cause damage to metal with his punch, he believed that he could practice the first stage without any problem.

Although the first stage didn't have any unique moves, it did record how to use the physical strength in a different way with different body parts.

For example, with his leg, he needed to press his muscles so hard that he could generate an explosive force behind his leap that could travel more than ten meters in just a second.

This was similar to those cars that can obtain a speed of 60 miles per hour in three seconds.

So, he had to train this.

The next was using his shoulder movements during his strike. Each strike was recorded in the skill book, and also given an explanation of why a certain strike would result in greater force than a certain strike.

For example, compared to the upward slash, the downward slash generated more power, but the upward slash was much harder to block than the downward slash.

The diagonal slash was much better than a horizontal slash because it not only carried more power but also was hard to block, as it would slide right off, giving the user another chance of a strike.

After learning these moves, he started practicing in his room.

He didn't even want to go outside anymore.
