She tapped on the message immediately, opening it to see what Intel he had. The words were straight and direct, like his style as always.
{Someone's being watching you since you arrived.}–the message read. She turned off the phone keeping aside as she returned her focus to the table. She looked at the simple Brazilian Steak on the table and took her cutlery to take a bite.
"Hmm, seems like the food here is really good". She commented as she chewed.
Rylee smiled at her, also swallowing a chunk of meat before talking, "Yeah, they really have the best chef, I even heard he was better than a five star Michelin while he was in the human realm".
Paisley eyes showed a hint surprise, being better than a five star Michelin cook was no easy thing. She took another bite of the delicious steak and chewed, savouring the delicious taste and sweet aroma.
Liam looked at her and decided to chime in to talk. "Mrs, do you mind if I call you Senior, it feels more comfortable that way." he said to her while she looked at him sensing his hidden nervous feeling as he spoke.
"Sure, then I'll call you junior then." she said with a smile easing his nervousness.
He feels more relaxed, starring up a conversation. "Ok. Senior, if I may ask, how did you manage to think about a solution to the Patient's surgery?". He asked with his eyes evident of steaming curiosity.
"Oh, talking about the patient we operated on just now. I must admit he really had such a rare condition". Paisley said.
Rylee eyes showed hint of annoyance as she looked at Liam who was always being professional everytime.
"Such trumpery behaviour, say do you really have to be so professional all the time, you might as well be like the Dean and performs surgery on his pepper steak and have it dissected before eating!" she pouted while Paisley laughed at her comment about the innocent Dean.
"I'm just being curious, you should listen too, possibly possible who knows, you might as well improve your surgical skills also". Liam replied, not mockingly, just with a bit of illusionary sarcasm.
Rylee gave him a bombastic side glance, making him avoid the intense gaze scorching his neck. He immediately adjusted his posture, taking a spoonful of his rice and having it go down his throat.
"Ok, I'll tell you." Paisley said while the both of them paid close attention. " I'll make it easy, when we were in the room, I'm sure you could notice something strange about the patients wound, looks deceptively standard at first glance, but taking a deeper look at it, you'll notice the muscle positioning slightly off——

After explaining everything to them, they nodded firmly totally understanding everything she said. Paisley was already done with her food as well as the other two so they decided to pack the rest up and take them to the trash.
" I'll be right back after taking out the trash". Rylee said after packing everything up and leaving.
The other two left waiting for her as they leaned against the wall along the main way of the hospital. Suddenly their sharp ears caught the whispers of the others, they looked the other way and saw a cold figure walking into the hospital.
Paisley eyes stared blankly at Aiden who seemed to had aroused the others with his appearance in the hospital. Her eyes kept drawn on him as the Dean came down to meet him.
"Where's he?". He asked plainly but coldly as Logan came closer to him.
Logan approached him, holding a report in his hands which je was supposed to hand over to Aiden. "He's been moved back to his ward", he said before continuing, "the surgery went well so you shouldn't worry about anything....."
Aiden didn't wait for him blabbing and just went forward into the elevator taking it to the third floor and heading into room sixty four.
Logan downstairs gave a knowing look at Paisley before speaking. "Have you checked his vitals yet?" he asked.
Paisley nodded her head horizontally speaking calmly,
"Not yet, I was waiting for Rylee so we could go check it together." She replied.
He sighed, telling her to do so quickly to avoid any mistakes before leaving to handle something else.
Aiden who was upstairs walked into the room, he's eyes fell on the patient using an oxygen and the slow drop of the IV being the only noise in the quite room. He walked to the bed and leaned down as he watched him.
He had confirmed it, seemed like the surgery was done successfully according to what Logan had said. Just as he kept staring, the door was pushed open and someone walked in.
He turned his head and saw the familiar girl walking to where he was standing, his eyes showed surprise but wasn't evident in his face.
"What are you doing?" he asked as he had easily recognized her despite her mask.
"I'm obviously here to check on the patient." she said whimsically.
He looked at her as she advanced towards the patient on the bed not minding his cold gaze. With the other girl behind her who was holding a plate with a syringe and some other stuffs.
She stood beside the bed, checking the patients vitals while he watched cautiously. She administers the injection to him and carefully placed back the syringe in Rylee's plate. She was done checking everything and walked out of the room but running into Logan at the doorway.
"How's it, hope he's alright–or the guy over there might just burn down the whole hospital." he said being a bit sarcastic talking about Aiden.
Paisley scoffed, "He's alright, should wake up in about twenty five minutes from now". She replied casting a glance at the watch on Logan's left hand.
"Ok, get going now". He said firmly as he walked into the room while Paisley and Rylee went into the elevator.
"Sis, have you met the Alpha before?" Rylee asked Paisley as they stepped into the elevator.
Paisley was taking abruptly by the question from her co-surgeon, "Just twice, once in a scout mission and the other when he accompanied me shopping." she replied.
Rylee's eyes beamed in surprise and admiration and her lips curved into a mischievous smile, "Wow, you just arrived and had already stolen many girls dreams in the pack ".
Paisley's face didn't show any strange emotions_"That's absurd, it's just a meeting twice, and what could be so special about meeting the Alpha, it's not like I met the prince of the heavenly realm, and besides, you saw him feel minutes ago didn't you?".
"meeting him would be interpreted differently from him accompanying you shopping, it's making me suspect you sis." Rylee said jokingly.
"He was just helping my cousin show me around, nothing special happened in that process like you're thinking right now".
Rylee laughed as the elevator door opened, "Ok, I'll believe you.
