As he ate the lunch prepared by his new body's mother Tristain went over his new memories once more.
Tristain's mother, Anna Krown was a European woman who had migrated to the U.S after her marriage with his father, Arnold Mercer.
His body had taken after his father with only his eyes resembling his mother's – a dark green color.
Although he didn't know much about his father's job, he knew that it was at least a high paying job that ensured that his family didn't have any money problems.
On the other hand, his mother was a writer, albeit not a very popular one. Still it was enough, after all her main job was housework and cooking, which she seemed to enjoy too.
He still hadn't come to terms with his situation, so it left a lot of conflicted feelings in his heart.
At that moment, Anna's voice broke him out of his thoughts.
"Tristain, if you have eaten your lunch, can you fix this hair dryer for me?"
"Sure?" he muttered, glancing at the hair dryer in his mother's hand. He was pretty crafty so it shouldn't be hard with internet assistance.
"Thanks." His mother said and put the dryer on the table before leaving in a hurry.
Tristain frowned as he looked at the broken dryer in front of him.
After looking it over he realized the the propellers inside were damaged along with a worrn out power cable.
'Smart in both lives, eh?' he thought as he partook in some self-glazing.
....
It was evening when Tristain decided to take a look around his new neighborhood.
After all he hadn't visited Queens nor the U.S in the previous life.
Some sightseeing like a tourist could be fun and although he couldn't go to the city since it was too late, he could still look around his neighborhood.
He walked through the streets, taking in the evening air, glancing around as cars and people passed him.
He mainly followed the streets that he could remember from his memories. After all, he didn't want to get lost.
'There's a lot of places here to sightsee.'
Tristain took out his phone and searched for places to see in Queens. There were different types of museums, parks and many other places that he would love to visit.
He could also make out gigantic skyscrapers that didn't exist in his previous life like Stark Tower and Oscorp.
It was Sunday tomorrow and hell (school) would only start after that, so he had time to look around tomorrow.
Tristain made plans to see various places as he walked but suddenly, his eyes darted across the street as he saw a man with long hair and a mask running despite the red light.
The cars honked and one of them nearly collided with the man but there was no sign of him stopping.
'Dumbass' Tristain took a breath, but his instincts raced with a bad feeling.
He kept his eyes on the running man and saw him nearly falling after colliding with the pedestrians. If he kept going, he would run straight into an old man.
"Wait... is that Uncle Ben?"
He suddenly muttered as a scene from the Spiderman passed through his mind.
It was the scene in which Ben Parker lost his life, making Peter realize his mistakes and become a superhero after the 'With great power comes great responsibility' speech.
Now, the same scene was happening in front of him.
Tristain gulped as his thoughts ran wild. In the next few seconds, Uncle Ben was going to lose his life.
Should he help? This was literally Peter's cannon event after all.
[Do you want to be a Hero or a Villain?]
At that moment, the prompt suddenly appeared in front of him like it was just waiting for this moment.
The moment when Tristain had to decide his path.
