Chapter 5 - Mana Stasis Womb

"So, you've been here for 6 years and wanted to find a way to leave, and you hope you would by joining a team that is full of slaves bound to die after we complete these missions," The guy said to me after getting back up from my push.

"I plan on escaping using my inherent skill, I don't know about you guys," I said as I began to continue mining.

I was about to hit this blue rock when the guy from earlier stopped my axe and decided to formally introduce himself as a prince of Signom, the kingdom that lost the war years ago, even before I went missing. I heard my father talking about it. His name is Christon Signom, as he says before he allows me to continue mining the rock.

"We want in on this plan to escape," Christon said with the confidence you would expect a prince to have.

"Does he speak for all of you or just himself?" I asked, looking behind him as about twenty of them shook their head and the other sixteen either didn't have much to live for or thought we would die earlier if we tried.

As the group of twenty began to tell me each their inherent skills.

About ten of them have combat inherent skills, and the other ten have more mana multipliers, so about ten of them would be of any help whenever you try and fight your way out of here.

"Ok, so I plan to wait until we are close to getting all of the mana rocks, but during the time we are mining, we keep some for ourselves to try and get to a point of reaching our evolution pathways" I had said to the twenty that agreed to try and fight back.

For about an hour, we were stuck mining until they allowed us to sleep for about three hours a day, so whenever they sent us back to the ship to rest, that was when we would take little chunks that we had collected and begin to absorb the mana of the rock into our mana pills which didn't make it go up much but it was better than most other techniques.

As I began to absorb the rest of the mana rock, it turned into dust. I look around and see that no one else is done yet. I began to wonder why until Sage answered my thoughts.

You absorb rocks of mana faster than a normal person due to being able to open up your mana pathways and allow the mana to go straight towards your mana pill, unlike them, who have to concentrate it towards their mana pill.

I began to think to myself that kinda made sense, as I continued to look around, and even though the sixteen others who didn't say anything kinda followed the plan by stealing some mana rocks even if they weren't going to do the plan, maybe after getting a decent amount of strength saved up, they will change their mind.

At least I hoped, as I got up and walked around as silently as I could, I then saw the woman from earlier had not started, I walked up to her, crouched down, and sat in front of her.

"Why haven't you started yet?" I asked her as she began to look up at me before looking back down at the stone.

"I can't circulate mana well, never been able to very well since birth," She said as she threw the rock up and caught it in her hand and tried to throw it again, but this time, I caught it before putting my hand on her stomach where a person mana pill is.

Now, begin to absorb the mana into your own body, but whenever you pass through this arm, send the mana to the next arm, then move it through her body, and extract all of the mana stasis wombs back through a little bit of mana, you bring back to take all of it with you.

As Sage guided me in how I was supposed to withdraw the mana stasis disease, Sage's explanation, a person whose mana is used uncontrollably too much at birth will get this disease. Even after getting one of these diseases, they will keep growing; that is why the disease is called the Mana Stasis Womb.

I began to absorb the mana stasis into my body and use my mana to drive the mana stasis up towards my throat. I quickly grabbed a wooden bucket, and I then threw up all of the mana stasis wombs out of my throat, but something seemed to be stuck as I pushed my finger down my throat and forced myself to continue puking into the bucket.

After I finished puking in the bucket, I looked up and saw that most of them had finished cultivating the rock, and they were looking at me.

"Check now," I said to the lady as I watched her try to begin to circulate her mana, and it worked.

"Wow," she said while looking at me with a sincere look.
