I ran like hell, but it was too late for that as a sword pierced right through my stomach, as I began to lose consciousness due to the sword sticking out of my stomach, and the last thing I saw was the captain of the ship begin to power up a move as I coughed a little blood and passed out.
As I finally began to regain consciousness, I opened my eyes and saw stars in the air. I began to get up from the ground, and I looked around and saw bloodshed; everyone was dead. I began to throw up whenever I saw the decapitated head of the prince. Christon, I began to finally get up from where I was sitting and try and run and hide somewhere but was stopped as I seemingly blacked out.
But I appeared in a room, not physically, but more mentally. I could feel it; my body was moving on its own, just like whenever I was thrown off the ship by Sage.
"Sage, is this your doing?" I yelled out, not expecting an answer, but I got one anyway
"Yes, I'm in control right now." Sage's voice replies to me. I then asked another question on my mind, " Why did you take control of my body again?" I asked not as loudly as earlier, but still pretty loudly.
"Because you don't have the heart to do what needs to be done," Sage says before seemingly cutting the link between this area and wherever Sage recedes in the body.
I sat there for a little while, hoping that Sage would at least get up, but then I felt it, as I began to sit down in a meditative position and focus on my mana pill, I could feel it.
Mana is seemingly being pulsated into my mana pill at an extremely fast rate, "Oh my god, Sage, Your not doing what i think you doing are you" I say to myself as i remember the technique that sage taught me not long ago, Mana Heart Technique but before i can continue to think, my astral body begin to seemingly lose gravity as i float towards the top of the room, im in and then bam, i was back in control of my body with a heart in my hand.
"What the hell was that sage?" I asked, in denial. I had already realized that Sage did something that I wouldn't be able to do, I don't think any human would.
"I have brought your mana pill closer to dual color, so that I may be able to evolve soon," Sage had said with the same emotionless, eerie voice.
I already knew that, but I guess I was hoping for a more human answer. I seem to forget that Sage doesn't feel emotions like we do.
I dropped my heart and ran, no longer able to hold back my tears. I knew from this day on, all I could chase was strength, so no one could take anything or anyone else away from me.
I continued to run towards the ship that seemingly hadn't left. I ran onto the ship once again and saw all the bodies as I ran towards the main corridor to start the ship. I realized.
How would the captain have left if the ship were here? I was already on the second floor, and the captain's room was on the first floor. As I began to channel mana into my body and ran towards the side of the ship, crashing into it, the ship began to shake, and this time I kicked the same spot I ran into with a reinforced kick.
As the side of the ship flew out, I grabbed onto it, ending up halfway across the water from where the ship was. I began to reinforce my hands with mana rip, a part of the wooden panel I was on off and use it to steer the panel towards a random area that wasn't near the ship or the island.
