Chapter 8 - Power Dynamics!

AN / Warning: Small R-18 Scene

After lunch, Gan and his two cousins continued to binge-watch Friday the 13th. Ultimately, they were accompanied by Galen, Galan, Galandan, and Giovanni.

Gan was speechless at once when they gathered in his room. However, this allowed him to do what he wanted to do with his three male cousins.

Gan had given them their mutant abilities, but of course, he wouldn't activate the mutant gene yet.

Gan decided to make Galan's abilities mostly based on energy.

Galan was imbued with the following abilities: Flight, Energy Manipulation 50-80% (max), Energy Absorption, Energy Drain, Energy Detection, Transmutation, Absolute Mind Defense, Absolute Soul Defense, Absolute Spirit Defense, Reality Warping Immunity, and Mimicry Immunity.

As for Galadan, he was imbued with the following abilities: Space Stone 50-90% (max), Blood Manipulation, Invisibility, Wall Phase, Force Field, Absolute Mind Defense, Absolute Soul Defense, Absolute Spirit Defense, Reality Warping Immunity, and Mimicry Immunity.

As for Giovanni, this was his favorite male cousin, so he opted to do some special for him. This would also allow him to get the most use out of what he was doing to his cousins.

Gan had given Giovanni two main abilities. His main ability would easily turn him into a Beyond Omega Level Mutant in time.

The abilities bestowed upon him were: Aura Replication, Mimicry Immunity, Absolute Mind Defense, Absolute Soul Defense, Absolute Spirit Defense, and Reality Warping Immunity.

Hope Summers possessed a unique ability known as Power Mimicry, enabling her to replicate the powers of mutants, exclusively. Nevertheless, this power was not lasting; her ability functioned more like borrowing than a permanent acquisition.

Then there was Synch, his powers weren't permanent either. However, he could copy nearby mutants' and superhumans' powers alike. Unfortunately, once the synced individual was out of range, he would no longer have access to those powers and abilities.

Later, once he was revived on Krakoa, his abilities would be upgraded.

'As for Giovanni's ability to copy powers, they're permanent. The only restriction I placed on his abilities was: He could only copy the abilities of mutants, he couldn't copy the abilities of his blood relatives, and he needed to come into physical contact with a mutant to copy their powers.'

Gan made sure that his power wouldn't copy the downside to a mutant's abilities.

'Ah, yes, copy all the abilities you can so I can copy every ability you've copied later.' Gan smiled at the thought, but this may cause some changes to this alternate 616 universe.

Gan, his brother, and cousin watch Friday the 13th all the way to the 6th movie. Afterward, they called it a night. Both of his female cousins shared a room, while both male cousins shared a room.

These rooms were meant for Grace and Garen, who were still over his grandparents' house. Gan scoffed slightly when he thought of them, because they stayed there on purpose to avoid helping them move in.

"In the end, they'll pick the least favorable rooms in the house." His cousins and brother went upstairs and left his room.

Gan locked the door and got to work alone.

"Alright, now I can check this Minecraft world." This was Gan's first thought.

Gan removed the Virtual Reality Cube from his safe. This was like a beta test for him, but before that, he wanted to do something else. Gan changed the make-up of the Virtual helmet into a different metal.

"This new metal will nullify electricity, it's waterproof, and it can help with mental fatigue." These aspects were extremely important for safety purposes. He had to be sure it did what he intended it to do.

So he used the group chat room to inspect the Virtual Reality Helmet. He even did this with the Virtual Reality Cube, and they all functioned as he intended.

"Good!" Gan cloned himself and projected his consciousness into the clone body.

Placing the helmet on his head, Gan found himself in a large, dark blue room. This was the lobby Gan had set up.

"Welcome, player, to the Room Between Worlds! Your access level is One, and the only world available for play is Minecraft."

In the center of the room stood an AI Nexus from which the AI communicated. The AI manifested as a middle-aged man with a translucent blue physique.

Suddenly, a Virtual Screen appeared in front of Gan. This was a typical gaming screen you'd see in novels, manhwa, manga, and manhua.

Name: Gan Winter

Available Worlds: Minecraft,

"The game status screen is perfect, now; let's create a new world." Gan hurriedly created a world, but he was given an option between realistic Minecraft and vanilla Minecraft.

Gan chose the vanilla setting, which was regular Minecraft. The realistic Minecraft would show mobs as realistic entities, and they wouldn't be blocky.

Gan spawned in the world before gazing around.

"Inventory!" By calling out, Gan's Inventory appeared, showing 27 inventory spaces and 9 available handheld spaces.

He still looked normal, but the structure around him was blocky. Gan went over and began to punch trees, and once it broke, he nodded with contentment.

The wooden block could be seen levitating two inches off the ground. Gan picked the block up, he could feel everything about it. The realism was already showing its capabilities, he could breathe and even taste the apples from the tree.

Tossing the wooden block on the ground, its size increased to its original size. Gan smiled in return and continued to play the game as a test.

"Gameset, Creative." Gan went into creative mode and explored the world.

The mobs, items, and netherworld were functioning as they should. There was a world border that couldn't be crossed.

"Everything checks out, the neutral and hostile mobs do what they should be doing." The achievements were also set in place. It was fairly scary when these hostile mobs started attacking you, so he thought to create a warning notice for Aria beforehand.

There was a clock that displayed real-world time, so Aria could navigate how long she would play. Afterward, Gan logged off and reset the entire game before getting rid of Creative Mode altogether.

In the next moment, he opened a wormhole and appeared in the Sahara Desert again. Once he arrived, he sighed because what he thought would happen, happened.

"My base has completely disappeared." Indeed, the Reality Stone, when it came to massive structures, didn't last long.

This was because the Infinity Stones were a system that worked together. They piggybacked off each other to empower one another.

Gan could manipulate reality on a Universal scale as he was now. This was thanks to the Space Stone, which propagated the effect of the Reality Stone to a universal scale.

The Mind Stone enhanced his mental capacity to handle complex reality alterations. If Gan had the Power Stone's abilities, he could provide the necessary energy to fuel large-scale and solid manipulations.

As for the Time Stone, it was the most important to him right now. This Time Stone would make all alterations permanent and prevent them from reverting.

Gan couldn't create anything too big, or it would eventually disappear. So far, he had created nothing but small things, so they could still be maintained within reality.

"Damn it! I need to gather the Infinity Stones." Despite Gan's abilities, he could still be caught off guard.

Say, getting head-shotted would be the end of him. He didn't have Invulnerability or high endurance and could be killed by conventional everyday weapons. This was just like Spider-Man; he had strength and speed, but if he was shot, it could be the end.

"I need to search for Deadpool and Robert Reynolds." Before he made his debut as a hero, he wanted to feel some security.

Indeed, his reality-altering abilities could heal wounds, but these needed to be activated by Gan. This was the same for superhuman strength, speed, endurance, etc.

Gan desired these matters to be instinctive, ensuring that he would be perfectly fine if ambushed unexpectedly. Without a moment's pause, he picked up his phone and began searching for the address of Robert Reynolds.

If Gan could copy the Sentry's powers, that would be a major power spike for him. After five minutes of searching the net, he found his address, which was located in Manhattan.

"Today, I need to do this now!" Gan didn't want to waste time on these things, he needed to be active. He didn't need to do it now, but he wouldn't be sensed even if he showed up.

Gan didn't open any wormholes this time, instead, he teleported near the location. As you would imagine, it was nighttime.

'The address should be around here, ah, there's the house.' Gan was invisible; thus, no one could see him. Even under the cover of night, people may find it hard to see him anyway.

Gan could see that there were plenty of people walking down the street. There were even people barbequing in their backyards.

His face was changed just in case someone saw him. Though not even deities of the highest caliber could detect him.

Gan landed on the roof, his footsteps were light and silent. Even though he knew he wouldn't be detected, Gan was still nervous.

He easily phased through the house's exterior, arriving in the living room. Flying upstairs, Gan quickly arrived at their bedroom door.

Lights were cascading from their room, so Robert and his wife were still awake. Gan decided to phase through the wall instead.

Ah~

Once Gan phased through the wall, he was greeted by something that shouldn't be seen. Robert and his wife were going at it on the bed, but Gan didn't turn away despite his contorted expression.

"Ah~ Robert, right there! Don't stop!"

Clap~ Clap~

'Damn it! This man is seriously clapping those cheeks!' Gan was analyzing Robert, but those moans were extremely distracting.

After a while, Gan felt something enter his body. Once he felt that surge of power enter his body, he quickly left the house!

"What the F**k!" Gan's heart was beating so fast that he thought it was going to jump out and run.

"Okay, I did it; that's the most important part. Now, I can go home and awaken this newfound power." Gan warped away and arrived in his room seconds later.

"I didn't expect to see something like that. Maybe I should have appeared during the day or something." Gan knew that wasn't possible with how busy he was today.

"Robert, thank you for your powers. I'll be sure to repay you in the future." Gan quickly checked the energy in his body.

"What? What is this?" Much to his surprise, there were two sets of energy in his body.

One mass of energy was a yellow ball, giving off high-tier dense power. This was clearly the Sentry's mass of power, which was understandable.

However, another mass of energy was present, and it was just as strong. It was pitch black with a dark red, violent energy shimmering around it.

Right then, Gan understood that this was the power of the Void!

He inspected the powers that came with both of them, and he was shocked. The Sentry and the Void had some crazy abilities that were a little too overpowered.

"This is the legendary, two-for-one special! Good! This is all I've hoped for besides the Infinity Stones!" Now, Gan could upgrade himself and his family members, at least those close to him.

Gan even considered improving Peter Parker's life in the future.

"Alright, time to assimilate these powers." Gan's grin was so unnaturally wide that it gave off an eerie air.
