Back in Konoha, nothing changed for Satoru, who resumed his life as if he hadn't just returned from another universe.

Fortunately, time passed differently when he was away.

What was a single day in the Ninja World equated to a year in other universes.

Satoru could adjust that difference with the system's help, but for now, he had decided to leave it that way.

Now, while he was in the Ninja World, one year here would be only twenty-four hours in the DC Universe.

With little else to kill time, he decided to head to the Third Training Ground.

In Konoha, there was no better way to pass the time than training.

Although, if he was being honest, he was already starting to miss the internet… and women.

Two months in the DC Universe hadn't been enough.

But he still had unfinished business in this world before he could leave again, and unfortunately, he couldn't ignore it.

One of those things was named Danzō, and Satoru had no intention of letting him keep breathing for much longer.

He was just waiting for him to make the first move.

After all, he now had all the time in the world.

He could afford to be patient.

"Immortality suits me. I feel more… relaxed… less worried," he said quietly, inhaling the fresh Konoha air.

For a moment, he felt all his worries melt away.

Just for a moment.

Because, as he walked toward the training ground, a blonde girl full of energy lunged at him and clung to his neck like a koala.

And just like that, his problems returned as quickly as they had left.

"Satoooru~!" Naruko exclaimed, hugging him enthusiastically.

"Tch. It's you…" Satoru sighed, resigned.

"What kind of reaction is that?! You should be grateful that a pretty girl like me is hugging you!"

"Huh? A pretty girl? Where?" he replied, pretending to look around. "All I see is a loud, annoying runt."

Satoru joked, teasing her on purpose.

Naruko puffed out her cheeks, offended, and Satoru couldn't hold back his laughter.

"Where were you going in such a hurry?" she finally asked, curious.

"I was going to train. You coming?"

"Geh? Training? That's so boring! Let's go play instead!" Naruko protested immediately.

Satoru rolled his eyes.

Naruko, seeing his expression, huffed in defeat.

"You don't know how to have fun…"

In the end, she had no choice but to follow him to the Third Training Ground.

"No matter how much I train… I can't master the Clone Technique… I gave up a long time ago," Naruko murmured, lying on the grass, staring at the sky.

Satoru smiled and tossed her a scroll, which landed squarely on her head.

"What's this…?" she grumbled, sitting up halfway to grab it.

"It's the Shadow Clone Jutsu. It'll fix your problem."

Naruko stepped a few meters away, intrigued, and began studying the scroll intently, practicing the hand signs immediately.

Meanwhile, Satoru decided it was time to use the full potential of his Rokugan.

He had been underusing it for too long, holding back…

But not anymore.

"This shouldn't be hard to pull off," Satoru murmured to himself, distracted.

"Nya~" meowed Gege, rolling through the grass, playing with her mouse plushie.

Naruko noticed the little furball beside her and, as if forgetting everything else, ran toward her with eyes sparkling with excitement.

Gege barely had time to protest when Naruko picked her up into the air and began rubbing her face against hers, delighted by how adorable she was.

"Satooru~! You never told me you had such a cute kitty!"

Satoru only rolled his eyes again, ignoring her completely as he focused on his training.

Out of the corner of his eye, he saw Naruko chasing after Gege, who was running for her life.

"Rest in peace, my friend. It was an honor knowing you," Satoru murmured when Naruko finally caught her.

"Lightning Style: Shiden!"

A surge of purple electricity burst from Satoru's right hand.

Unlike the Chidori, it didn't sound like a thousand birds screeching.

It was pure electricity—vibrant and alive.

Satoru raised his arm toward the sky and released the technique.

It was powerful enough to alter the atmosphere.

Combined with the help of his Divine Gift, the temperature rose quickly, and soon the sky filled with massive, dense black clouds.

Satoru had formed a thunderstorm above them.

He harnessed the natural energy of the storm he had just forced, drawing and concentrating the lightning.

Then, a thunderclap tore through the sky, so loud it made the ground tremble.

"KIRIN!"

A colossal creature made of pure electricity, shaped like a celestial dragon, rose from the clouds, roaring with power that defied nature itself.

Naruko, who had been playing in the grass with Gege, looked up with her mouth wide open. Her eyes locked on the electric beast, then on Satoru, unable to believe what she was seeing.

The dragon suddenly descended at a speed impossible to follow with the naked eye and crashed into the nearby forest.

Naruko raised her forearm to shield herself from the blinding explosion of light.

When she finally dared to look…

She couldn't believe it.

The entire forest had vanished.

The ground looked like it had been scorched by hellfire: charred, cracked, reduced to nothing.

Not a single tree remained standing.

Little by little, the clouds began to dissipate, as if the storm had never existed.

And there, standing amidst the sudden calm, was Satoru, gazing at the chaos with a satisfied smile on his face.

Naruko ran toward Satoru with a bright smile, Gege clutched to her chest, thrilled by what she had just witnessed.

Her excitement was almost contagious.

And thanks to that, for the first time in a long while, Naruko felt like training again.

To Satoru's surprise, she wasn't just motivated—she was determined: in just two hours, she managed to master the Shadow Clone Jutsu.

Impressed, Satoru decided it was time to move on to the next level.

He began teaching her the basic chakra control exercises: walking up trees without using hands, walking on water… the essentials for any competent ninja.

Watching her, Satoru thought that maybe in a few weeks, she'd be ready to learn the Rasengan.

And the idea didn't bother him.

After all, there was nothing wrong with helping a friend.

"Danzō-sama requires your presence. Follow us obediently, or we'll be forced to use violence."

Three ANBU Ninjas—or more specifically, three ROOT ANBU Ninjas—appeared in front of Satoru's house.

Satoru looked at them calmly… and then smirked boldly.

Danzō had finally decided to make a move.
