Chapter 3 - Chapter 3: The First Spark of Civilization

The land was waking up.

The river flowed with spirit-water. The trees glowed with faint mana. The air was no longer still — it listened, as if aware of Kael's presence.

He stood atop a stone ledge overlooking a lush valley.

Kael's Gift pulsed again — Upgrade Everything — but this time, it whispered something new.

> [Would you like to evolve life from ambient essence?]

He nodded. "Yes."

---

From soil, magic, and ancient fragments of DNA left in the world's chaos, a new form began to take shape.

Humanoid. Flexible structure. Strong enough for survival, intelligent enough for growth.

One… two… then ten emerged — blinking under the sunlight, touching their faces, breathing for the first time.

They looked at Kael and bowed instinctively.

> "You're not just my people," Kael whispered. "You're my legacy."

He opened his system menu.

> "Upgrade all," he commanded.

Knowledge poured into them like fire through their minds. They stumbled, cried out… then stood taller.

One of them looked to the trees.

> "Food," she muttered.

Another built a fire. A third sharpened a stone.

They were already adapting.

---

Across the multiverse, other players were trying to conquer their people.

Kael was evolving his.

And soon… he would teach them magic.

> "You are my first generation," he said softly. "The foundation of a world strong enough to survive gods."
