His hands changing back and forth in different positions.
That's it! Kaito's eyes flashed. He wasn't unfamiliar with this gesture. After returning to the real world, he would often practice this gesture when he was free!
"Seal?"
Shikamaru no longer looked lazy. "The Uchiha clan really is something else."
"No way!"
"Impossible!"
Some students also exclaimed in shock!
"Then! That hand seal technique is…" Iruka was also extremely shocked.
As everyone stared in disbelief, Sasuke was about to finish his hand seal. He smiled cruelly and shouted, "Fire Style! Great Fireball Technique!"
All the chakra in his body surged to his mouth, and a small fireball about half a meter in diameter burst from his lips, hurtling toward Kiba, who stood not far away.
Kiba was frozen in place. He was so stunned by Sasuke's hand seals that he forgot to move!
The fireball was heading straight for him!
Some students finally snapped out of it.
"Careful!"
"Get out of the way!"
After releasing the fireball, Sasuke collapsed. He didn't have the strength left to cancel the technique.
At the critical moment, Iruka appeared in front of Kiba and punched the fireball aside with one strike!
He frowned as he looked at the unconscious Uchiha Sasuke. "Another genius has appeared in the Uchiha clan."
Seeing the danger had passed, Kiba gasped and sighed in relief.
"I declare Uchiha Sasuke the winner of this contest! We'll seal the reconciliation tomorrow. Class dismissed!"
Iruka's words pulled the stunned students back to reality.
He picked up Sasuke's unconscious body, and in a blur, raced toward the medical room.
"That was ninjutsu!"
"Uchiha Sasuke can actually use ninjutsu?"
...
As Iruka left, the students buzzed with excitement.
At the school gate, Kaito said goodbye to Shikamaru, Choji, and Hinata, then walked home with Ino.
Along the way, Ino chirped like a happy little bird, her chatter nearly wearing out Kaito's ears.
When they reached her door, they said their goodbyes. Before leaving, Kaito smiled and said, "Tomorrow's the day you come over for dinner, right? What do you want to eat?"
"I remember you once made a giant meatball—yeah, that one!" Ino tapped her chin thoughtfully, already drooling a bit.
"Those were Four-Happiness Meatballs, you little foodie." Kaito pinched her nose gently.
"Hey! Quit pinching my nose!" Ino lifted her chin, looking annoyed.
"Don't be mad! I'll make more for you tomorrow. Just don't be late."
Kaito shook his head, laughing. He knew Ino's act well—she pulled this every time she wanted more food.
Sure enough, Ino brightened right up. "Then make a lot! I'm going to eat tons!"
She threw her arms out in an exaggerated gesture.
"Got it!"
After making sure Ino got home safely, Kaito turned and walked to his own house.
...
[Hokage's Office]
The Third Hokage sat upright in his chair, listening attentively.
Iruka stood beside him, recounting in detail everything that had happened at the Ninja Academy that afternoon.
Finally, Iruka finished. "Hokage-sama, that's what happened. Uchiha Sasuke was taken back to the clan compound before I came here."
"Well done. Keep guiding them carefully. They're the inheritors of the Will of Fire."
"Yes, sir!"
After a few more words of encouragement, Sarutobi Hiruzen dismissed Iruka.
Once alone, Hiruzen rose and looked out the window.
He was staring toward the Uchiha compound.
His eyes were thoughtful and distant. He took deep puffs on his long pipe, filling the room with smoke like a misty haze.
Only when the pipe's flame faded did he mutter softly:
"Fugaku's son... maybe there's potential."
...
After Sarutobi Hiruzen learned of the events, the other clans soon found out as well. Many of their children also attended the Academy.
Children weren't great at keeping secrets—they shared everything that happened the moment they got home.
Word of Uchiha Sasuke's display spread quickly to the clan heads.
Their reaction? A few mild comments like, "Worthy of Fugaku's son," and nothing more.
Every one of them had been a genius in their time. They had fought in either the Second or Third Great Ninja War.
During those wars, even five- or six-year-old children were sent to the battlefield.
Compared to that, a child who could use a single ninjutsu and then fainted? It wasn't impressive.
Not when compared to the likes of Uchiha Itachi or Uchiha Shisui.
...
Kaito had no idea any of this was going on in the village. He was lying on the tatami mat, deep in his personal training space.
As usual, he had created fifteen shadow clones. Ten were training with the Lightning Fruit, three were working on mastering the Rasengan, and the last two were focused on physical training.
Kaito's real body was refining chakra. After two hours, he stopped, his cells aching with fatigue.
Next, he turned his thoughts toward mastering the "Six Styles"—a powerful martial arts system from another world.
The Six Styles were secret techniques originally used by marines—developed and refined over generations as a foundation for overwhelming strength.
