Lisa walks over hugs Ellie, and takes a small package of cleenex tissues from her purse and gives them to her, before turning to me and hugging me tightly.
"Thank you, thank you so much for keeping my baby's alive. They told me everything and how you were willing to sacrifice yourself to keep them safe, thank you so much." Lisa cries as she kisses my cheeks and hugs me.

Shaking away my guilt, I return the hug with one arm, 'Still can't believe Lex and Tim's mom looks like Lindsay Lohan.' I think and notice Tim looking embarrassed for both of us.
After breaking away from Tim and Lisa helping the drunken Ellie to her room as we're technically supposed to remain here for 24 hours, I make my way to the room I'm supposed to be sharing with my father.
Dad is sitting on his bed with his face in his hands, walking up. I pat his back, "H-hey Alec." Dad's voice breaks as he looks up at me.
"Hey Dad, you alright?" I ask the man genuinely concerned since I can tell that he's been crying even if he's putting on a good show that he wasn't.
"I'm fine son, you should hear from me first, Ellie and I have broken things off…" Dad says to me his voice cracking again and I look at him seriously and wonder whether or not I should tell him about the events in the alley but decide against it.
"You guys just want different things, I'm sure you'll find someone to share your life with that will never want children or not already have them." I say and pat his shoulder, spotting the clothes on my bed that look like they'll fit. I grab them off of the bed and head into the bathroom that is attached to our hospital room.
'It feels good to wash all this blood, dirt and sweat off…I don't think having Ellie on the board or even as an employee is a good idea anymore…but competent paleobotanists are a rare find.' I think as I finish my shower and begin drying off.
Exiting the room finding dad gone but a note written on the wheeled table they use to feed patients, [Gone to think, get some sleep. Love Dad.]
I chuckle at his note, and roll my eyes, 'He probably went to see Ellie.' I think but shrug it off I'm washing my hands of her in all but a professional sense.
Just as I'm about to take a few steps to my bed and get some zzz's I remember my promise to Tim, and figure I should go check on Lex too.
Walking to Lex's room gently knocking on the door I see that Lex is the only one in the room. She looks at me then rolls over onto her side.
'Okay then…' I think as I turn around and walk the other way, back to mine and Dad's room.
'Guess I shouldn't be surprised, now that our lives aren't in constant danger, the rich girl wants nothing to do with me.' I think as I enter the room and lay down on my bed, close my eyes and fall asleep.

Getting off of the private plane loaned to me by John Hammond, at La Guardia airport a driving service is waiting for me as I exit the gate, to take me to my lunch appointment with one Jessica Pearson.
Almost an hour driving to the restaurant because of traffic, the car pulls up in front of a small bistro.
Walking inside, I see Jessica as she's reviewing the paperwork that Ingen's lawyers sent over. This is a sorta test for her to see if she's competent or even truly interested in taking me on as her client.
"Jessica Pearson?" I ask as I pull out a chair and sit-down across from her, she looks up at me, "Yes, Alec Grant I presume?" She asks and she's very professional in her attitude at least at first.
"So did my father put you up to this?" Jessica asks me and I'm left blinking stunned by the question.
"Who?"
"Ian Malcolm, did that deadbeat asshole put you up to this?" Jessica asks me and I can tell my answer will determine whether or not we can work together and if this Jessica is anything like the Jessica from Suits then I want her fighting in my corner.
"Malcolm did give me your number after I expressed a need for legal council that I could trust, he told me only that you were a year or so out of law school and already making a name for yourself, you being his daughter never popped up, and frankly I don't fucking care who your parents are, if you're as good as Malcolm painted you as then I want you on my side watching my back, helping me build something awe inspiring that will rake in billions, once fully operational. So can you look past your father's hand in this meeting or are we done here? Because I don't have time to waste on daddy issues getting in the way of my business." I say to Jessica and I mean it, as I really don't have fucking time to waste answering pointless questions.
"Here's our contract…I'll explain it to you." A very long drawn out conversation later I have Jessica Pearson as my general counsel and her law firm as Horizon Industries legal support, the company being truly established by them in the next 30 days.
"This contract is full of loop holes, and clauses for Ingen to use. They're even taking 30% of your company right out of the gate. This whole deal is…problematic, made even more so by their financial support, and current pending lawsuits against the brand Jurassic Park." Jessica starts to explain to me, I put my hand up to her.
"Jessica, I need you to be my Viking warrior, not my hand holder, give me a general sense of things, go out there slay my enemies, and get me the best possible terms you can, that won't leave me getting rapped over a barrel." I say to Jessica honestly and she smiles at me.
"I think I'm going to enjoy working with you Alec…" Jessica says to me with a smile on her face and I smile a smile I learned from Little One, it might just be a little too blood thirsty…

Three months later.

Standing in my boardroom which is an older airstream from the early seventies.
"So, how's everyone doing? I'm glad you could all make it." I ask everyone and get muttered goods and alrights from everyone.
"The main thing that I want to say is that with the transfer of assets, brands and funds from Ingen, I have restarted construction of Jurassic Zoo which is based in San Diego. The zoo will only house adolescent and juveniles, it's meant to generate income to support a new facility on site B, as Malcom." I point to the man who gives a lazy wave.
"Did some number crunching and he estimates that the Volcano on Isla Nublar will become active in twenty to thirty years, so it's not a place I want to build a long term billion dollar infrastructure, Isla Nublar will be converted into a research facility, where many behaviorists and other experts will be brought in to map out these creatures habits and behaviors, as well as a training facility for an animal containment unit, whose first directive is to protect human life so that means if the loose dinosaur presents too much danger it'll immediately be put down."
"Are you sure you want to start from the ground up because of Malcolm's predictions?" Dad asks me and I nod, "Malcolm, regardless of any personal feelings anyone in this room might have for him, is very competent in his field. He says Nublar's volcano is going to erupt somewhere between twenty and thirty years from now, I'll take it as a guarantee that it'll happen." I say and almost everyone looks reluctant to accept that, activating the projector.
"Now I've also been in meetings with the engineers of the original park, and I've had them begin designs on a solid barrier park with tubes going through them that will offer a close up view of the animals while keeping people as safe as possible." I inform them as I begin showing them slides of what looks like a massive pie, with slices cut into it, and tubes running along inside the pieces of pie.
"Each tunnel will be reinforced and have current running through the exterior metal reinforcements. To prevent destruction."
"Excuse me, how much will all of this cost, between the materials, the labor?" John Hammond asks and though he's not technically on the board of directors his daughter is, as she actually has both an MBA and is a CPA and my current head of finances/accounting.
"Current estimates net us around 1.3 billion dollars to fully complete the park but the park is projected to be completed enough to start having visitors by the point that seven hundred and fifty million dollars is reached." Lisa offers.
"That won't be happening, we'll either be fully operational or never in business, I will not have a repeat of Jurassic Park." I say coldly as John starts to open his mouth, it shuts with a click of teeth.
"Besides Jurassic Zoo's earrings are projected to be large enough to offset the cost of this new park." I add on with a smile.
"And that convenes, the end of this meeting if any of you have concerns or opinions about Jurassic Zoo, please come to me in private to express them, now if you all would kindly GTFO of my trailer so I can get some sleep it'll be greatly appreciated." I say while smiling but being serious at the same time as this is my third day without sleep between paperwork for the zoo, reviewing contracts with Jessica and going over financials with Lisa I'm beat, I even have a couple of grey hairs coming in.
