Chapter 18 - (10 Fragmen Jiwa untuk Membentuk 1 Inti Jiwa)

(10 Soul Fragments to Form 1 Soul Core)

"Name: Aaron Ockford"

"Age: 12 Years"

"Progress: (1450/4000)"

"Level: 3"

"Power: Chaos"

"Passive Skill: Swallowing Hole"

"Active Skills: (Soul Drainer), (Energy Sharing)"

"Item: Dimensional Ring (Gold Tier)"

"Avatar: Fire Gorilla Monster (King Tier)"

"Soul Energy: 15 (Not including innate soul energy)"

'I haven't had the chance to test my current strength, so I don't know for sure how different my level is now compared to before. Well, even though understanding the use of my skills isn't too hard, what exactly is an avatar?'

'And how do I use this soul energy? Can it only be used to heal others by mixing it with natural energy?'

Questions kept surfacing in Aaron's mind, growing more frequent as his power and system increased significantly.

It was only natural for someone like Aaron, who had lived alone all his life. Education and knowledge? Those were exclusive things, hard to obtain. Surviving on an Earth that had evolved into a dangerous place for the weak, especially those without any background like his, was already an extraordinary blessing and miracle.

Even though the Zenit system had become a part of human life on Earth, detailed knowledge about the Arkais world was rarely discussed. Some things were rarely encountered, while others were too valuable to be shared with others, so many people chose to keep such information to themselves.

'I guess I need to spend more time studying the power system in this world,' Aaron resolved.

Unconsciously, Aaron had already become much stronger than before and far more sensitive to natural energy than others.

"Mr. Theodor, can you explain the power levels in this world? And what was the level of the person who almost killed us in the Forbidden Forest?" Aaron asked, filled with intense curiosity.

"Oh, looks like you're interested in becoming stronger, hahaha... Alright, as far as I know, there are seven levels. Warrior, Elite, Master, Grand Master, King, Emperor, and the highest is Ascendant," Theodor said.

"As far as you know? What do you mean?" Aaron asked, sensing something odd in Theodor's explanation.

"Um... yeah, generally, what everyone knows is that Ascendant is the highest level, but I'm not entirely convinced. I believe human power doesn't stop there. There's always a sky above the sky," he said confidently.

"Yeah... I guess that's still too far for me..." said Aaron, exhaling deeply.

Even on Earth, no one had ever heard of reaching a level beyond King, let alone a level above Ascendant, which was considered legendary in the Arkais World.

"What about your level?" Aaron asked suddenly.

"I'm already at the Elite level because I've successfully formed 2 soul cores and created 5 more soul fragments," he explained, puffing out his chest and sounding proud.

"Fragments? Cores?" Aaron muttered unconsciously, clearly confused. Although he might have heard of them on Earth—stories about how to grow stronger in the Arkais World—stories alone couldn't compare to actual practice.

The easiest way to grow stronger was by consuming the flesh of Warrior-level Monsters or Monsters higher in rank than oneself. They could also grow stronger by consuming Herbs containing Pure Energy or by absorbing Monster Cores. But Monster Cores were extremely rare, as they only existed in Master-level Monsters and above.

Obtaining Monster Cores was extremely difficult for newcomers to the Arkais World, especially for those without backgrounds capable of providing resources. However, if someone had a sufficiently powerful background, obtaining and absorbing them was still possible.

Because even on Earth, many Monsters kept entering through dimensional portals and attacking humans, and it wasn't uncommon for warriors to fight against Master-level Monsters. Although many humans were defeated and killed by such Monsters, for those in power, the risk was considered worth the result.

"Oh, one must first form their soul fragments. After every ten soul fragments are formed, they must be merged into one. Once successfully fused, that object is called a soul core. This must be done to break through to the next level," Theodor explained in detail.

Hearing that, Aaron began to understand, though something still bothered him. "How do you form a soul fragment, and can we see it?"

Aaron was like a dry sponge, desperately trying to absorb more and more water.

"You can start by sitting down and focusing all your thoughts until you're fully immersed. Then, gather all the natural energy you feel and form it into a fragment," he explained briefly.

Hearing that, Aaron didn't hesitate. He then said, "Can I stop and try it right now?"

"Ehm... yeah, of course. We also need to take a short break to prepare ourselves before the battle," Theodor replied, making Aaron very happy.

Everything went smoothly and without obstacles for their group. Even though there were a few wild monsters that attacked, they were easily dealt with by the team.

After a while, the group stopped, and Aaron was eager to try checking how many Fragments he had.

"You can try now, kid, but there's no need to rush. The first attempt often fails, and it can take months or even years to form Soul Fragments and Soul Cores. I'm telling you this so you won't be discouraged later and so you'll keep trying."

"Yeah, even if you've consumed many Monster Cores, if you can't form Soul Fragments and Soul Cores, you'll never advance to the next level."

"So stay strong, kid! I'm rooting for your success," Theodor said, encouraging Aaron.

Although it felt strange to receive such support from someone he had only just met, Aaron was deeply thankful and appreciated it greatly.

"Thank you, Sir. I'll give it a try now…"

After receiving Theodor's guidance and approval, Aaron immediately began to focus his mind.

Just as Aaron started to concentrate, Theodor was approached by a middle-aged man who seemed familiar with him. The man looked strong, with a well-maintained athletic body, and his clothing appeared slightly better than others, with visible hidden armor and weapons.
