Chapter 12
Edward' House
As the package from the online shop hasn't arrived yet, Lucius uses his time to further improve his control over his wings.
Because he doesn't have anything to do other than preparing for shooting a video for the requirements to join the organization, he got a lot of leisure time.
And he uses that time to improve his acting skill, changing his habits, and learning more about the common sense of being a woman.
Three days just passed like that, then a delivery man showed up in front of their home, calling the recipient's name aloud.
Because Eve is attending school right at this time and Sophia is working outside, only Lucius is available at home to receive the package.
"Yes! Wait a minute"
Lucius walks away from the stove, it's launch time so he's cooking a meal for himself, after turning down the fire, he walks to the front door.
The door opened and there the delivery man standing a couple steps away from the doormat.
Usually after the door opens they will do their usual greetings and ask for confirmation of the recipient name and then take a picture of the package.
But it seems that guy is frozen still, with a bit of gaped mouth.
"Uhh? Hello? Excuse me?"
Lucius is confused why the delivery man has 'stopped working', after a couple seconds the delivery man finally comes back to his senses.
His face is red from the blush, but he is still able to do his job just fine.
"Ah! I'm sorry miss, here is a package for you right?, alright thanks bye bye"
After giving the package and taking the picture in hurry, the delivery man walked away fast towards his motorcycle.
Lucius didn't know why that delivery man was acting like that, so he just went inside, closed the door and checked the package.
'Let's open this later when Eve and sister Sophia comeback'
He then put the package in the bedroom, and went back to finish his cooking.
"Damn.. It's hot here.. I'm sweating hard, huh? Wait.."
Looking down and seeing his body, he finally realized why the delivery man was acting like that.
Lucius' shirt is wet and almost transparent! Because of the sweat, after realizing why, he felt embarrassed from the shame of showing this appearance to a stranger.
'Kuuhhh! I always forget that these things can happen! Huft… let's just forget that, i need to be more careful especially about my appearance and habits'
The meal is ready, after eating the meal and done washing the dishes, Lucius looks at the time.
'2 PM, hmm let's train my wings, …hehehe because I'm alone at home i should be able to train in the living room! And I can use the fan to cool my body down! And it's more spacious!'
After almost a week since his transformation, Lucius is more used to his current body, now he can look at it without getting too much stimulation.
There's still some lingering feeling that he can't just throw it away, well if all of those feelings are gone he might lose something important as a Man, so he chose to keep it.
As he already does this training often for three days already, he's able to control the wings more easily than before, and he can do more difficult tasks like folding one side and stretching the other.
His training goes for one and half hours, because he doesn't sweat as much as before he chose to immediately take a shower.
Finishing the shower in about twenty minutes, he exited the bathroom with a satisfied expression.
'Haaa.. Taking a shower after workout is really felt good'
Lucius sat down on his mattress, his towels still wrapped around his head, Lucius tried to dry his long hair.
'Let's use the hairdryer, it's more convenient that way, and faster'
Getting up and entering the bedroom, he looks for the hairdryer, after finding it, he uses it as he is taught by his sister.
Evening went in hurry, the air cooled down, and the sun went for a rest, finally the sisters are back after a long day.
Usually Lucius will offer some help to pick up Eve from her tutoring class, but he avoided going outside since the time he experiences a chaotic mass of curious people.
Sophia and Eve are welcomed like usual, and did the routine of washing their feet and hands.
Finally seeing Lucius sitting in front of the small round table, Eve immediately noticed the package sit on the top of the table.
"Ohh the package is here, but brother.. Why haven't you opened it yet?, it's yours right? I don't remember buying anything before and after the bra"
Lucius is actually confused why he didn't open it yet and tries it himself when he's still home alone.
"Uhhh I actually don't know.. Maybe because I'm a bit afraid…"
Eve usual response is missing, it seems she isn't in the mood to make a joke.
As Eve already knows the news about the new government policy about the awakened for about three days now
And her school is beginning to pressure the students to get registered if any of them are awakened, as Eve still doesn't want to get registered yet.
"Sure, if you says so, let's open it now then"
Because there's no time for Sophia to make a full dinner she just cooks them an instant ramen, and she just finished the cooking.
By the time Lucius and Eve opened the packaging, Sophia was already bringing out the food.
Seeing the table is occupied by the scraps of the opened package, she gestured then to throw the trash away.
"Let's eat first, then you can try it out later, food always comes first"
Lucius and Eve didn't argue with Sophia, food always comes first after all, especially if it's already been served, it's the basic manners for them.
Both answers at the same time.
"Alright"
About twenty minutes later they finished their food, and back to the previous tasks, trying the new bra for Lucius.
Fast forward it fits almost perfectly, just needs a bit of adjustment, then a question suddenly arises in Lucius' mind.
'Now i can wear the dress properly, but where should i record the video? I need a big vacant room, I also need good lighting, ah.. Also a good camera..
'Ohh! Right! I can ask Edward for this!, He was also curious about my wings before, and he also has a big house and for sure a good camera!
'Is this what they call hitting two birds with one stone? Ahh anyway let's call him, i hope he isn't busy'
Realizing that he is still together with his sisters, he chose to call Edward in a different room, actually he doesn't know why, but he feels more comfortable having a call without anyone listening.
"Ah, guys I'll go make a call for a minute "
He then gets up and leaves the bedroom, and immediately calls Edward, about 5 seconds later it is connected.
{Hi Edward, sorry for calling you suddenly, but I have a favor to ask.. Uhh sorry, are you busy right now?}
While speaking on the phone, Lucius hears a lot of background noises on the other side, it seems Edward is somewhere outside.
{Ah? Hello? Lucius? sorry i can't hear your voice, I'm at party, wait a minute, I'll move to more quiet room}
After waiting for a couple minutes, Edward's voice finally came back.
{Sorry, what did you say before?}
Lucius isn't really bothered, he just repeats the sentence he said before.
{Sorry that i called you suddenly, uhh.. Actually, can I ask for a favor?}
{Sure, just ask, ah don't worry about the call, you can do it anytime, after all you only call if there's something urgent or important, so don't worry}
Lucius felt grateful, and he immediately told Edward about it.
{You know that I'm trying to contact that international organization right?}
{Uh huh}
{Actually i already passed the first screening after our last call, and.. The second screening requirements is to upload a video about me or to be exact it's about my power}
{Ohh! Congratulations! Is there anything I can help you with?}
{Right.. Uhh because I need a bigger room to record the video, so I can use my wings properly, and it's better if I can try to fly, ah! For now just a spacious room with a good lightning is what i need}
{No problem with that! I have a big bedroom or maybe my study room, yeah both are good candidates, anything else?}
Lucius felt a bit reluctant to ask more, but he didn't have a good camera on his phone, let alone a digital camera.
So with a bit of reluctance he asks.
{Do you have a digital camera? Or any professional camera? For the video I mean..}
{Of course, I have my own personal camera, so don't worry about using it, btw when will you come to my house? Ermm.. This is a bit silly to ask but what should I introduce you to my parents? I haven't told anyone about your condition so.. }
Knowing that it will be a pain to let Edward's parents know about his condition, Lucius try to make a believable scenario.
{How about… I be your online friend? We know each other From the game we always played together, is it good? You can tell your parents that I come to play a new game together, just tell them i don't have good computer}
A couple seconds of silence, Edward finally answered back.
{I have no problem with that, my parents also know that i often play some games together with friends, ermm but Lucius they might have some strange thoughts when he see you in person.. After all, ermm.. Your current appearance is.. Too stunning to be just a 'friend'}
Haven't got time to reply, Edward talk again in hurried pace,
{Ahh sorry haha it's because i once brought a girl..friend and they get suspicious and ask if she's my girlfriend or a crush.. So it's all my parents thinking.. Yeah, so..are you fine if my parents did that?}
Lucius didn't really mind those things, he will never see man as a possible love interest, especially not Edward, for Lucius Edward is like his brother.
{Dude, don't worry about anything like that, we can act like a normal friend and they won't get suspicious for sure, anyway faster is better, so if it's possible tomorrow, any time is good, you decide}
{I don't.. So… Tomorrow is fine, for the time how about 3 PM? I'm finished my college class that time, ah i can pick you up then}
Lucius thinks that he heard Edward saying something before the 'Tomorrow', but decided to ignore it.
{Thanks a lot bro, you really are the best, uhh.. Btw please don't get surprised when picking me up tomorrow, see you tomorrow then}
{Huh?? Ermm okay, see you tomorrow}
Ending the call, Lucius felt relieved but also a bit nervous about tomorrow noon, so he decided to just sleep it out to forget the nervousness.
Fast forward, the day is here and Lucius nervously waits for Edward to pick him out, it's thirty past two in the noon, the promised time almost here.
He actually wanted to go there himself with an online taxi, but Edward already offered his kindness, so Lucius accepted that for granted.
Already wearing the dress and he didn't forget to wear a mask and hat, ah he also wear a hoodie on top of the dress, after all he doesn't want to gather attention when riding Edward' motorcycle.
Thirty minutes felt like eternity for Lucius, but Edward's voice finally can be heard from outside.
Strangely Lucius didn't hear Edward motorcycle engine sound, even though it's a but loud, because it's a big bike.
"Lucius.. I'm here…"
Before Edward even finished his call, Lucius already opened the door.
"Ah.. Finally you've come"
Seeing Lucius' current appearance, Edward, a bit confused and stunned, asks Lucius why he dressed like that.
"Luci.. Why are you wearing a hoodie over a dress? And uhh why are you even wearing a dress? We're coming to my house for a video right?"
Not knowing what to say, Lucius decided to just show Edward why he was wearing this dress.
He backed up, then standing in the center of the room, removed the hoodie and turned his back to Edward and immediately summoned his wings.
The whole scene stunned Edward, and he unconsciously blurted an explanation
"Wow… beautiful…"
Lucius is a bit embarrassed after doing all of that, and with fast pace he wears the hoodie back, and the hat too.
"Uhh that's why.. Without this dress I can't summon my wings, uhh btw where is your motorcycle? I don't see it outside.."
Snapped back to reality after the whole 'sacred' scene, Edward came to his senses and told Lucius why.
"Actually i use my car to pick you up, it's better that way"
Feeling grateful because of Edward's thoughtfulness, Lucius gave his thanks,
With a smile he said
"Thanks a lot.., ah sorry for the trouble"
Edward smiles back,
"No problem, let's go to the car, i parked that outside the gate"
After locking the door and telling his sisters about this, Lucius followed Edward to the car.
Some of the neighbors saw them walking to the car, but they didn't try to make any conversation, just a couple of smiles and polite nods for greetings.
Fortunately they didn't see the landlord lady, after getting into the car, Edward drove the car with patience.
Thirty minutes later they arrived at the neighborhood complex for elite residents, Edward house is inside the complex.
After parking the car on the driveway, both come outside the car, and finally stand on the porch.
Edward already opened the door and waited for Lucius to walk in, but Lucius stood still, as he was actually nervous.
"Come inside, you already come here a couple time now, so just do it like normally"
Removing the mask and hat, Lucius finally braved his heart and walked inside, then he asked Edward.
"Uhh dude.. I should call your name right? To avoid suspicion, so..Edward , where's your parents? I should give them greetings as this should be my 'first time' coming here right?"
Thinking a bit, Edward answered the question.
"Yeah, just my name is fine, also they might be inside the living room on second floor, ah actually it's only my mom, my dad hasn't came home yet, he's at the company"
A bit relieved hearing that, as he only had to face one person, Lucius' expression calmed a little bit.
"Alright.. Let's greet your mother first, after you"
"Okay"
Both walk towards the stairs to the family room, finally they're able to see Edward' mother.
She's wearing a simple dress, and standing facing the veranda while holding a cup, a strong aroma of coffee coming from her.
After hearing the footsteps Edward' mother moved her head to see the source. She then smiled and greeted both of them.
"Welcome home sweety, and nice to meet you miss, you should be Edward girl..friends right?"
Edward smiles back and greet his mother back, Lucius also did the same
"I'm home mom, ahh this is indeed my friend i talked about this morning"
"Hello aunty I'm Lucia, thanks for having me here"
Edward' mother was still smiling, actually her smile began to widen.
"Hmmm~ Lucia right.. You really are beautiful, are you really here to play a game together with Edward? Not to 'play' a 'game' together right?~"
Lucius is flabbergasted after hearing that he can't say anything, Edward of course immediately told her mother to quit the teasing.
"Mom! Please! She is just a friend!"
Edward' mother laughed.
"Ahaha.. I'm sorry, after seeing her appearance it's just comes naturally, you know? She's just too dazzling to be left as a friends, i actually encourage you if she can become my daughter in law~"
Lucius' face becomes red from the embarrassment even the ear too, he still can't say anything because of the embarrassment.
Edward also felt embarrassed after hearing his mother's shameless thought, so he immediately refuted.
"Mom! Again our relationship isn't like that! Excuse me then, I'll go to my study room, please don't barge suddenly"
Because Lucius is still stunned and doesn't follow him, Edward just takes Lucius by the hand and immediately walks away toward the study room.
After a couple meters he released Lucius hand, feeling a bit embarrassed.
Both walked on the hallway for a couple seconds and finally saw the door for Edward' study room.
Without further ado Edward opened the door and let his friend inside.
After both are inside, he closes the door and apologizes to Lucius.
"I'm sorry about my mom, she's always like that if i bring opposite gender to the house, anyway wait a couple minutes, I'm gonna ask the housemaid to bring a snack and drinks"
"Ah.. I'll go get the camera for a minute, so please wait here"
Lucius already came back to his senses and answered back.
"Ah.. No problem about your mother, i.. fine with that, no worries"
Feeling sorry, Edward makes sure to tell Lucius that he's sorry about the situation.
"Once again sorry about that, ohh right i should call you Lucia right? So please wait a couple minutes, while i fetch the camera you can sit there"
Pointing at the study chair, Edward then leaves the room.
Suddenly alone Lucius finally can begin to organize his thoughts.
'Ahh! What an embarrassing situation! Damn! I guess I can't really act like a normal friend when together with a male!, huft.. Let's just forget that and prepared to record the video, alright first let's remove the hoodie'
While removing the hoodie suddenly the door is opened, Lucius surprised and almost stumbled because of the panic.
He can't see because the hoodie is still stuck on his head covering his face.
He doesn't know who entered the room, but he's really nervous right now.
