Chapter 68 - Another system

[Ding! Warning: A system user with the Destiny Villain System has been detected nearby.]

Su Chen's expression darkened the moment he heard the mechanical voice ring out in his mind. He immediately stopped watching the fight from beneath the earth, his pupils narrowing as he pulled up the system screen.

"...Fuck," he muttered under his breath.

With a quick tap, he opened the details:

[Name: Su Yang

Su Chen quietly read the entry, each word sharpening the chill in his chest.

"Destiny Villain... Biological brother... Wants to devour me... and steal the girl too..." He suddenly smirked.

Instead of fear, what welled up inside him was a dark sense of joy.

"Hehe... For the first time in a while, I feel something close to happiness," Su Chen whispered.

"I might be shameless, but I have self-respect. If someone ever asked me what I hate the most in life... it'd be the Su Family first. And second—trouble."

His voice dropped as he glanced toward Han Yue, standing gracefully beneath the moonlight. "But since fate has dropped both in my lap..."

He clenched his fists and grinned coldly. "Then let's start with you, dear brother. I won't kill you yet... No, that would be too easy."

His gaze shifted again to Han Yue. "Since you're so obsessed with this woman... I'll take her first. Let's see how your destiny handles that."

He let out a low, chuckle.

Suddenly—

BOOM!

The moon behind Han Yue flared with an ethereal brilliance. Silvery light surged out like a divine blade, slicing through the air as it locked onto Su Yang.

A cold light flashed in Han Yue's eyes. With a single flick of her sleeve, the moonlight condensed into a devastating beam, shooting directly toward the demonic figure hovering behind Su Yang.

Su Yang, shrouded in demonic mist, let out a furious roar. Behind him, a towering demonic phantom emerged—horned, fanged, eyes glowing crimson.

"ROOAARRRR!"

The demon howled and charged forward, intercepting the moonlight mid-air.

BOOM!!

Sky and earth trembled as moonlight and demonic force collided. The resulting shockwave shattered clouds and split the air with a deafening crack.

Su Chen narrowed his eyes, watching as the remnants of the battle scattered across the sky.

The last bits of spiritual force were devoured by the demon's illusory form, which then slowly faded, leaving behind a tense silence.

He crossed his arms and muttered, "Tsk... Just what kind of physique is this Moon Reincarnation Physique? That powerful energy—it's being swallowed by that demonic manifestation..."

His eyes narrowed slightly as he glanced toward Han Yue. "Is she holding back? Or does she not even know how to properly use it?"

A faint smirk tugged at his lips. "Well... it doesn't matter."

He exhaled slowly, voice dropping to a whisper.

"I'll be stepping in soon."

Boom! Boom!

Once again, Han Yue raised her hand, commanding the moon above. But this time, it wasn't a single beam of moonlight—it was hundreds. Streams of silvery light descended, taking the shape of swords, spears, and arrows. Each glowed with ethereal brilliance, humming with overwhelming power.

BOOM!

They rained down like a heavenly barrage toward Young Master Su Yang.

But Su Yang remained calm. His fingers danced rapidly, forming a series of intricate seals. Behind him, the demonic phantom twisted violently, sprouting three heads and six arms. One of its mouths opened wide—darkness spiraled from within as a small black hole was unleashed.

BOOMMMM!!!

The two forces clashed mid-air.

The collision exploded with apocalyptic force. The shockwave spread across miles, uprooting trees, shattering boulders, and tearing apart the land. Cracks snaked through the earth like spiderwebs. Su Chen, hidden deep beneath the ground, quickly retreated further underground to avoid being discovered in the aftermath.

Even Han Yue and Su Yang were forced to step back, their clothes rippling in the wild storm of residual energy. Every attack from both sides had been nullified—dissolved in a chaotic balance of destruction.

Swish—

Han Yue's eyes narrowed. She silently drew a slender blue longsword from her spatial ring. Without a word, she slashed forward.

The sword shot through the air—its shape twisted and changed mid-flight, transforming into a massive white swan made of pure moonlight. Graceful, yet terrifying in its aura, the swan soared toward Su Yang with astonishing speed.

Su Yang didn't hesitate. His hands formed another sign, and a spiritual seal emerged above him, descending like a barrier to meet the oncoming swan.

BOOM!

The collision was deafening. Su Yang's seal trembled... then shattered under the swan's crushing momentum. The massive bird didn't slow—it surged forward, aiming directly for Su Yang.

But Su Yang still didn't panic.

Instead, he reached into his system storage and pulled out a small glass vial filled with ash—its surface faintly glowing with ancient runes.

He hurled it directly at the swan.

Crack—

The glass shattered on contact.

Ash burst forth like a dark mist. The moment it touched the swan, the radiant moonlight creature began to disintegrate. Feather by feather, the swan dissolved into dust—and where the ash spread, everything else around it followed.

The ground. The air. Even light.

Everything turned to dust.

Han Yue's pupils contracted sharply as she muttered under her breath, "Saint's Ash..."

Even a drop of a Saint's blood could kill a True God.

And now, this… This was the ashes of a Saint.

No matter how powerful she was, she couldn't fight against it directly. She knew the Immortal Palace had suppressed everything to the Core Formation Realm, sealing off higher cultivation to maintain balance.

But this… this ash hadn't been suppressed.
