The crowd exploded, the walls were vibrating, sky drones zooming in, the air practically pulsing with anticipation.

The roar was deafening. You'd think we'd already won.
My boots thudded against the ascending platform as we rose to the arena floor. Spotlights tracked us, holograms of our profiles burst around the stadium. Stray's core glowed against my back like a pulse in sync with my own heart.
"All these hype people, we better not lose," Renn said across the ear comm.
"You'd think they knew what it felt like" Seraph spoke as she scanned the crowd from where we stood.
Arielle's eyes twitched, "What do you mean?"
