Soon, after driving for a few minutes, the sprawling expanse of the Sinclair Cooperation could be seen ahead. Dane drove into the compound of the main company and parked his car in front of the entrance.
"Is it okay to stop here?" Kaelith asked, and Dane smirked as he turned off the car and gestured towards the door.
"Rules don't apply to me. Now, just get down and—"
He was still speaking, but his words were cut off as the doors to the car opened on both sides. Men dressed in suits could be seen flanking the vehicle.
"Ermmm…" Kaelith mumbled as he looked at the open door. Dane got out of the car, took his suitcase, and walked toward the entrance. Kaelith did the same: he got down and hurried to catch up with Dane.
As he reached him, a lady could be seen beside Dane, trying to match his pace. Then, suddenly, Dane stopped and turned back. His eyes landed on Kaelith briefly before returning to the lady.
