"Mabel, you haven't ever called my name, have you?" he suddenly remarked.
"Kyle Kinston?"
"No, just Kyle. You've never called me just by my name," he replied. All along, she either called him by his full name or addressed him as Mr. Kinston or Mr. Kinston.
Mabel Quinn blushed slightly but still softly called, "Kyle."
"Call me like that from now on," he said, sitting up straight, fastening his seat belt, and continuing to drive. His name had always seemed like an unfortunate curse.
But just now, hearing it from her lips made him find it so pleasant, as if all misfortunes would dissipate.
Mabel Quinn adjusted her seating, instinctively raising her hand to touch her somewhat flushed cheek.
Though she and he hadn't really done anything, it felt like... they had done a lot of things.
"Francine Howards is my friend's cousin, we just grew up together, not a deep relationship." Kyle Kinston suddenly added.
Mabel Quinn was stunned for a moment, was he explaining to her?
