Chapter 14 - CHAPTER : 14 : Meet the Fleet II

"My name is CVN-80 USS Enterprise—"

"EH!!!!!!!!!!!!!"

The Shipgirls screamed in total shock and surprise. Adm. Nimitz and Adm. Philips both facepalmed, as they knew this would happen.

"Admiral, what is the meaning of this!?" Enterprise-6 asked Adm. Nimitz frantically, as she was about to lose her sanity seeing herself standing there.

"Listen here, Enterprise... you see, we just have... some..." Adm. Nimitz tried to find the right words to reassure her concerns, but couldn't.

"I wish Yorktown was here. But she's busy doing some paperwork right now," he muttered to himself.

"Sir Philips, can you please explain to us why there are two Belfasts?" Wales asked Adm. Philips, somewhat frantic.

"Admiral, you have some explaining to do," Hood said in a direct tone.

Adm. Philips had the answers to their questions, but he had no idea where or how to even begin.

"Admiral, don't lie to us," Belfast said, as she cornered him.

"H-How can there be another me?" Denver CL-58 screamed, looking at her counterpart (Denver SSN-856).

Denver-856 replied in a joking tone, "Yeah, I know, feels weird, right...?" She said, trying to ease her concerned counterpart.

Laffey DD-459 was having a staring contest with her counterpart (Laffey DDG-200). If you put DD-724 in the middle, we would have a "Mexican stand-off" or "Spider-Man pointing at each other." Every Destroyer in the area could feel the tension between the two.

The two Bunnies stared at each other while chugging bottles of their own 'liquor,' each glance an invitation for trouble and hostilities.

"Um... what are you doing, Laffey?" the Purple Hair Girl asked.

Laffey-459 responded, "Don't know... We're just staring at each other," she said nonchalantly.

"Whoa, I didn't expect to see another Enterprise here in the base," Hornet said and smiled, after the awkward silence.

Enterprise-80 coughed to get everyone's attention, which was preoccupied with their minds seeking answers to the questions lingering within. The Modern Kansens, who got the attention, all straightened up and stood still, waiting for orders.

"As I was saying... My name is CVN-80 USS Enterprise, a third of the Ford-class Supercarriers of the United States Navy."

They all listened to her introduction, and they heard her voice, which carried a commanding tone. Enterprise-6 emptied her mind of questions as she listened to her.

"Before somebody asks me a question, yes. We're not from this world. We came from another world and time."

"What?!"

"What do you mean, another world?" Enterprise-6 asked, completely caught off guard by the words 'another world.'

"Yes, we came from another world or dimension, where Sirens don't exist."

"If Sirens don't exist in your world, it means your world is peaceful...?" Illustrious said, clasping her hands together in hopes that the world where she came from was devoid of conflict.

"Yeah... peaceful..." Enterprise-80 cringed at the word, remembering her deployments in the Middle East, where she paid the Houthis and Iranians a visit and a daily reminder.

"What's wrong, Miss Enterprise?" Illustrious asked, noticing the cringe on Enterprise-80's face.

"You can't say it was peaceful. Two World Wars, two Cold Wars, and a bunch of Proxy Wars, yeah, that seems peaceful..."

"What do you mean by that?" Enterprise-6 asked, turning serious.

Enterprise-80 explained how an Archduke of Austria-Hungary and a Serbian kid caused the whole shebang. And a failed Austrian painter, and the Cold War between Capitalism and Communism, and the current Cold War between Dumb Pandas and Obese Eagles.

Every Shipgirl who listened to her explanation almost teared up; others covered their mouths at such horrors of the conflict humans divulge themselves in. The adults who experienced far worse could not believe the death toll from the two World Wars.

Wales tried to maneuver the conversation away from the topic of past wars in their world. "That's quite bloody than I could ever imagine. Wait, you said third? How many are in your class?" She asked, now curious about the class of Supercarriers.

"There are 9 hulls, 1 is under construction and 30% complete. 1 is being fitted out with weapon systems, electronic radars, and any equipment used for aircraft launch and recovery at Pier 3. 1 is ready to be delivered to the Navy, after a yearly sea trial. 6 are in active service, and currently half of them were deployed in regions where conflict may arise. But now it's down to 8, because I'm here."

Everyone felt sympathized about her situation, being separated from home and family.

"You said Supercarrier, what does it mean?" Hornet asked, intrigued by the classification.

"Well... you already know why I was called Supercarrier," she said, spreading her hands in a gesturing motion.

"Because of the size, isn't it?" Enterprise-6 said, unsure of her answer.

"Yes, and no. You don't just need sheer size to be called and classified as a Supercarrier. You need more power to be called one; the amount of power to push such a massive vessel is extensive. You also need to carry a lot of fighter aircraft and project power in the Seven Seas by sheer presence alone."

Enterprise-80 motioned to Bunker Hill to introduce herself next; she didn't want to waste time explaining the complexity of a Supercarrier to people of the 1940s.

Bunker Hill walked beside her, carrying some resemblance of authority. As she established her presence to the Shipgirls on the harbor, she then introduced herself.

"My name is CGN-76 USS Bunker Hill, 3rd of the Lexington-class Guided Missile Nuclear Cruisers of the United States Navy."

A Pink Hair Girl wearing a Magical Girl Outfit burst through behind the Shipgirls in front, making others fall or trip over.

"Wait! Did you just say Lexington-class?" A Pink Hair Girl wearing a magical girl outfit asked.

"You didn't have to do that, Saratoga," the Pink Hair Woman scolded.

The Pink Hair Girl wearing a Magical Girl Outfit is named Saratoga.

"Sorry about the sudden outburst of my little sister. By the way, the name is Lexington CV-2. It's nice to meet you," the Pink Hair Woman named Lexington said, extending a handshake.

Bunker Hill took the offered handshake warmly; she shook it for a second as she greeted her. "It's quite nice to meet you, Miss Lexington."

"Oh, you can call me Lexington if you want, no need for such decency. By the way... why are you named after a carrier? But—" she then looked her up and down "you're a Cruiser?"

Enterprise-80 explained, "Cruisers are being named after the carriers to honor those carriers' names and what they represent. Destroyers, on the other hand, are named after former Destroyers, Admirals, Naval Officers, and Marine Medal of Honor recipients. Submarines are named after fish, but later in the Cold War, they were named after Mid-Tier Cities/Cruiser names and States/Battleship names. Amphibious Assault Ships are named after places where Marines fought battles. And last but not least, Aircraft Carriers are named after Politicians or people who contributed to the Navy."

Everyone nodded as they understood why they were so different and found some resemblance in an odd way. Enterprise-80 continued.

"But there is one name that will always remain a carrier's name. The name 'Enterprise' is considered special and traditional in the US Navy."

This caught everyone's attention, especially Enterprise-6, who invested her attention in her counterpart.

(Because the US Navy's Trek will never work without the USS Enterprise.)

"How come the name 'USS Enterprise' is considered special and traditional?" Enterprise-6 asked, skeptical about her name being traditional.

Enterprise-80 explained everything.

"The name USS Enterprise is special because she faced an enemy alone and sunk many enemy ships. Her enemies always reported she was sunk, but she always returned badly damaged. After repairs, she ran to the battlefield headfirst. She held the line until reinforcements arrived for months, as she fought a numerically superior enemy. Her legacy lives on to another carrier, carrying her name and legacy. That one day, this carrier will do the same as her predecessor. The navy considers this a traditional name."

Everyone fell into silence after hearing the story and legacy of USS Enterprise, the last carrier of the class and survivor of the war, but ended up in the scrapyard because of the deteriorating hull integrity she received from damages from previous battles.

Enterprise-6 spoke in a somewhat proud and sad tone "So... that's my counterpart's fate in your world... huh?"

Enterprise-80 only nodded; she then signaled for the next in line to continue their introduction.

Laffey-200 introduced herself without even trying to murder someone, this time. "The name is USS Laffey DDG-200, first of my Destroyer Class."

Everyone was surprised, even the Modern Kansens, that she wasn't committing any hostilities to any living being; shit, even a single building structure wasn't safe from her violence.

The Modern Kansens sighed in relief internally; she didn't try to kill anyone inside. The Azur Lane Shipgirls looked at them in confusion.

Essex scratched her head. "Wow, she behaved herself this time."

"This time, only," Lucas said.

"Better not waste it then," Arizona uttered.

"Ya-Yeah...."

"The name is USS Jack H. Lucas DDG-125, 75th of the Arleigh Burke Class Destroyer and the first of Flight III."

Lucas introduced himself in his typical Marine Corps introductory monotone. His introduction didn't catch the Girls' attention, but his Dress Blues caught most of the Royal Navy Shipgirls' attention. He gulped, because he could already see the "Article 15" being shoved in his face."

"You've got some nice taste of elegance, young man," Hood commented, looking at his "flashy" Dress Blues.

"Yes, indeed," Wales chimed in. Illustrious made "Ara~Ara" noises and giggled, making his situation even worse.

"Thanks for the compliment... Ma'am," Lucas played it cool like any Marine Stationary Drill, because the Royal Navy Shipgirls were looking at him.

"Brits," Arizona whispered.

Lafayette took a breath as the attention shifted away from him. 'Phew... I thought I wasn't going to breathe.'

"The name is USS Essex LHA-12, 6th of the America Class Amphibious Assault Ships," Essex introduced herself, like Lucas, she carried herself like a Marine.

"Are you a Carrier?" Hornet asked out of nowhere, making Essex cringe at her question.

Enterprise-6 apologized for her sister's actions. "Hornet, mind your manners. I'm sorry, my little sister is a little bit rowdy at times."

Essex responded, "No need for that; I always get asked that question all the time. About your question, it's a yes and no."

"What do you mean, yes and no?" Enterprise-6 asked confusingly. Not because she was Essex.

Essex explained her role and capability. "I can be a Carrier, but my primary role is to transport a bunch of Mentally Retarded Children into the combat zone ASAP, where they call a 'Target rich environment.' If those Mentally Retarded Children on the ground need air support, I'll send my F-35B Lightning IIs, hence the name 'Lightning Carrier.' Sometimes they call me 'UberEssex' as a transport ship for Marines."

She said it with added humor to her explanation, which didn't receive much from the older ladies. But some got the humor.

"Can you summon lightning?" Laffey-459 asked, gesturing with her sith hands.

"HAHA," she laughed sarcastically. "No, my planes are named Lightning. So I'm called Lightning Carrier."

"Lame," Laffey-459 said bluntly in front of her.

"Why you little—" Essex clenched her fist, about to smack the shit out of her.

"Whoa... hold your horses," Lucas said, trying to stop her from fighting this little bunny full of tenacity.

Laffey-200 smirked a little at the sight of little chaos.

Denver-856 was the next to introduce herself; she greeted them with her cheerful voice. "The name is USS Denver SSN-856, 4th of the Gato Class Fast Attack Submarine, nice to meet you all..."

Everyone greeted her, "Hello," and thought, 'Denver is Denver.'

Denver CL-58 asked, "Wait, did you just say Gato Class Fast Attack Subs?"

Denver-856 nodded and explained, "The whole Gato Class was named after USS Gato SS-212 of WW2 as the US Navy returns to naming their Hunter Killer Subs to Fish names and Mid-Tier City names."

"Hunter Killer Subs?" Cleveland asked, as that sounded menacing.

Denver-856 then made a devilish smile and spoke in a spooky tone to scare them. "That's our job as Subs... We hunt and kill our prey... silently."

This sent shivers and chills down the Shipgirls' spines because they knew and understood the danger of submarine warfare. She then laughed at her own humor as she saw the scared reactions plastered on their faces.

"That's enough, Denver; we're here to introduce ourselves, not to scare them," Bunker Hill said in a serious, strict tone.

Denver-856 chuckled. "My bad, my bad... I'm just teasing them a bit," she said, holding back a laugh.

"The name is USS Arizona SSN-803, the 29th Virginia Class Fast Attack Submarine and second of the Block V."

The two Brunette Women in Coveralls were taken aback at the identity of the man. "Wait—What?"

"Arizona? Is that your name?" the Cinnamon Brunette asked.

"Yes, indeed, Ma'am," Arizona said, removing the sunglasses obscuring his eyes.

The two Brunette Women in Coveralls' eyes widened after seeing his face. The face was similar to the other one, and the name was the other one.

"But—My name is Arizona," the Brunette Cinnamon said her name.

"Figures," he whispered to himself after his guesstimates hit its mark. His attention shifted to the other brunette with an intersecting brow. "Let me guess, Pennsylvania?"

"Yes. That's my name," Pennsylvania confirmed her identity. "May I inquire?"

"Yes?"

"Why do you resemble me more than Arizona?" she asked him the hardest question.

Arizona shrugged. "I woke up as a Kansen, and all I know is I have this face. I'm clueless about the process of Kansenization."

"Fair enough." She extended a handshake.

He took the offered handshake. "Fair indeed."

BB Arizona was next to extend a hand. "I'm Arizona," she said, her voice flustered at her counterpart.

Arizona smiled. "No need to be flustered; we're the same, yet different," he said reassuringly.

William, right beside him, whispered, "Are you going to tell her?"

He whispered back. "No, not here, not now; these matters should be discussed in private. I don't want her to start crying all sudden. This is a private matters."

William nodded his head and receded. "You're right; this topic should be spoken about in private."

Arizona was going to tell his counterpart about the sad fate of Earth's Arizona; he wanted to discuss it in private, for now, it was a happy meet and greet for everyone else.

BB Arizona tilted her head after seeing him whispering to that old man; she didn't know what they were whispering, but she could sense it was about her.

After the greeting, Pennsylvania cut in. "You said you're the 29th of the class and 2nd of the Blocks, would you mind explaining to us?"

Arizona made a quick glance at his superiors for confirmation; confirmation received as he was allowed to explain some crucial details.

"Well, how do I start... maybe the block," he scoffed. "The Virginia Subs have many Blocks in its Class. Block I consists of 4 boats and the most basic design of the Virginia Subs. Block II consists of 6 Boats focused on streamlined production and cost reduction. Block III consists of 8 Boats introduced to the most advanced sonar and replaced the old launcher with 2 large VLS Tubes to save cost. Block IV consists of 10 Boats more advanced than the previous blocks. Block V consists of 10 Boats, including me; we are made as a replacement for SSGNs or your typical Underwater Battleships with Missiles. I'm a little longer than the previous blocks because I carry the Virginia Payload Modules (VPMs)."

"Underwater Battleships?" the Battleship Shipgirls asked in unison, as that was the only and first hearing of that Battleship classification.

"What I'm saying is the Ohio Class Subs are named after States or Battleships; their secondary role in their Mid-Life Refit is to bombard the Enemy Coast or Inland with their Missiles while staying hidden underwater. Some Modern Submarines can also do the same, but with limited missiles."

"You can do that?!" Everyone asked, not believing the Submarine shore bombardment capability.

Denver-856 and Arizona made a Chiseled Chad face and replied, "Yes."

Eyes and mouths twitched at the absurdity of the Future Submarine capabilities, but who were they to judge the capabilities centuries advanced than their own? They may look stupid, but their dark personalities foreboded them.

After recuperating from the shock of knowing how advanced these Submarines were, they then looked at the Shipgirl wearing a Japanese Naval Officer Uniform with dog ears that oddly looked very familiar to them.

"The name is JS Maya DDG-179, first of my Class of Destroyer of the Japanese Maritime Self-Defense Force. N-Nice to meet you."

Maya introduced herself carefully, as she didn't want to create another commotion. She then bowed like any Japanese introduction; as she bowed, she could still feel the glares the Azur Lane Shipgirls were giving her.

"A Sakuran Shipgirl. Why is it that you have the same design as an Eagle Union Ship?" Enterprise-6 asked, still having some doubt about the Japanese girl.

Maya's dog ears were down from the start, and now everyone was giving her looks of doubt and suspicion.

Lucas intervened as he saw her having a hard time answering Enterprise-6's questioning; he placed himself between her and them, being defensive. He then explained why she was oddly shaped like one of the Arleigh Burkes.

"She's currently carrying the AEGIS Radar. All ships equipped with Aegis Radar are similar in shape to Arleigh Burke Destroyers. Her role is to protect the Japanese mainland from above, below, and the surface. AEGIS is made against any of those threats; her primary role is defense and escort only. And she's also a pacifist. I can guarantee she's on our side."

"Okay, that makes sense. I apologize for my rude manners," Enterprise-6 apologized to her.

Maya forgave her, as she knew it was hard for the others who just fought her counterparts in deadly battles; seeing her reminded them of their enemy, which was hard to pass by.

Enterprise-80 spoke to reassure the concerns of the Azur Lane Shipgirls that she was on their side. "She's under my command. So you don't have to worry about anything about her."

That lessened the concerns of the Azur Lane Shipgirls, as they just finished fighting the Sakuran fleet at Midway Island and Mirror Sea.

Maya uttered a silent gratitude to Lucas. "Thank you." Her gaze fixated on the ground.

"Don't sweat it," he said, playing it coolly.

"Always the savior one, huh," Arizona uttered.

The attention then shifted to the next person. Lafayette moved forward as he introduced himself in his Naval Officer Uniform tailored to his size. He straightened his posture, but his knees... yeah.

"The name is USS Lafayette FFG-65, 4th of the Constellation Class Frigate of the United States Navy."

As he finished his introduction, he then noticed and caught the attention of the Royal Navy Shipgirls of his age, especially the adult ones.

He saw every adult female giving him some interesting looks, like tea that needed to be sipped and chips that needed a small bite.

'Where's the FBI when you need it the most!' His mind screamed at the presence the women were exerting at him.

"My~My. You're a shy one, just like Unicorn," Illustrious said, as Unicorn hid behind her.

"Umm... thanks," Lafayette stammered, feeling uneasy with the glances given to him.

"Are you the Kansen of that ship with the 57mm mount as its main gun?" Wales asked, pointing at the moored Guided Missile Frigate.

"Umm... yes...." He said, his eyes turning left and right in nervousness, but he got his composure back and straightened up and regained his courage.

"M-My role is Submarine Hunting, escorting convoys and cargo ships in highly contested waters. My deck gun is meant to engage high-speed boats, drones, or any aerial threats. Surface threats are always engaged with Missiles," he explained his role as he stuttered in front of them.

Wales rubbed her chin as she saw the value of the small-caliber deck gun. "I see now."

William then introduced himself last on the American side; he carried himself like an old man to Modern Kansen standards, that is. He tipped his cap as he introduced himself to show some respect to the older ladies in Azur Lane.

"The name is USNS William McLean T-AKE 12, 12th of the Lewis and Clark Class Dry Cargo Ship. I provide auxiliary support ranging from dry cargo, munitions, and fuel."

Azur Lane Shipgirls giggled at William's introductory, especially the Royal Navy Shipgirls. Both Lucas and Arizona stared at him with disbelief, because he always and often tipped his cap in front of the ladies to show some respect.

Lafayette mused, "Is he always like that?"

"Probably," Belfast said.

Last but not least, Belfast introduced herself; she performed a gentle bow while lifting the two edges of her skirt in courtesy.

"My name is HMS Belfast FF-90, 3rd ship of the Type 26 Frigate or City Class Frigate of the Royal Navy. It's a pleasure to meet you, my predecessors."

Cruiser Belfast looked at her, very proud of her for being polite and elegant in her introductory. She never thought the Royal Navy's tradition didn't' diminished throughout the decades.

Enterprise-6 pondered as she saw another Belfast being Belfast. 'I guess Belfast is still Belfast no matter what world she came from?'

"I think it's our turn to introduce ourselves, ladies," Adm. Nimitz addressed the Eagle Union Shipgirls.

Eagle Union Shipgirls prepared themselves for the introductory, starting with Enterprise-6.

"Guess I'm the first one, huh." She then readied herself for the introduction. "My name is USS Enterprise CV-6, 2nd of the Yorktown Class, and this is my sister USS Hornet CV-8, 3rd of the Yorktown Class."

Hornet waved her hand at them and said, "Hello," in a cheery tone.

The Modern Kansens waved back and greeted her, "Hello."

"My name is USS Laffey DD-459, 7th of the Benson Class Destroy--- ZZZZZZZZZZ." Laffey DD-459 fell asleep while introducing herself; she didn't elaborate further as she dozed off.

"She falls asleep while making an introduction!" Lafayette, Essex, Maya, Arizona, and Lucas yelled in unison, as the whole thing was new and cartoonish for them.

The Azur Lane Shipgirls just laughed at their reaction to the sleeping bunny; some of them really knew Laffey's habit of falling asleep at any time or place. And her falling asleep during her introduction wasn't new to them.

"That's one hell of a weirdo," Enterprise-80 commented, as she saw Laffey DD-459 and her friends trying to keep her awake.

Bunker Hill agreed. "Yeah..."

"Weird," Laffey DDG-200 muttered as she watched the cartoonish chaos.

Modern Kansens looked at her with disbelief and thought of her as a hypocrite. 'You're the one to talk.'

"My name is USS California BB-44, 2nd of the Tennessee Class Battleship. And it's nice to meet you," California introduced herself.

"American standards," Denver-856 muttered as she glanced at the battleship's TDS.

Arizona connected dots and patterns in his head. 'The second sister of each Standard Battleship is this carefree and cheerful; the older sister is the total opposite.' He had seen the Pennsylvania Sisters; he bet Tennessee was a brawler.

Then a Red Hair Girl wearing an Idol Outfit introduced herself. They didn't expect this redhead idol to give a concert performance before introducing herself to her fan club; too bad for the Modern Kansens, they had enough of the idol crap.

"Hallo, it's me, your Namba wan Idol. USS San Diego CL-53, 3rd of the Atlanta Class Cruiser. Please, no need to rush for autographs." She then winked at them, as stars flew off from her wink.

Modern Kansens were like chiseled stone faces in reaction. 'We thought Essex had the lowest brain cells that exist in the world. But now she proves Essex still has a functioning brain.'

Essex's brain was thanking God right now. 'Thank God, I still have some brain cells left.'

"I'm sorry about the stupidity of my sister. My name is USS Atlanta CL-51, 1st of the class, and this is my sister USS San Juan CL-54, 4th of the class," Atlanta introduced herself and her sister San Juan CL-54.

"No matter what class of ships you're in, there's still one oddball in them," Enterprise-80 spoke.

Enterprise-6 agreed with her. "Yeah, you're right, everyone has an oddball." She then looked to her side.

"Hey, why are you looking at me like that, sis?" Hornet exclaimed as her sisters looked at her.

"Okay, it's our turn," a tomboyish voice full of energy was heard by them.

"Hi there. My name is USS Cleveland CL-55, and these are my sisters." She then gestured to the girls behind her. "Say hello to USS Montpelier CL-57, USS Columbia CL-56, and last but not least, USS Denver CL-58."

Montpelier greeted them. "Sup." Columbia greeted them with a cheering tone. "Hello." And she did a little salute.

Denver CL-58 complained. "You don't have to introduce me like that. It's embarrassing."

"Hahaha. Sorry," Cleveland said, chuckling.

"Not bad actually. I wish I was introduced like that," Denver-856 commented.

Then sudden shouts got their attention. "WAIT! What! You guys are not dudes?!"

Lucas and Arizona were baffled by the discovery. Clevelands were not dudes. Their guesses betrayed them, their disappointment was immeasurable, and their day was ruined.

"No way! I thought you were boys!" Lafayette said in an outburst.

"They also got me in the first half, not gonna lie," William said, a bit disappointed about their guestimates of the Clevelands.

"If you look at them, yeah, they look like a bunch of dudes. But there is one outlier though," Denver-856 stared at Columbia's chest. "Yeah, that's the outlier."

"What's wrong with them?" Cleveland asked why these two were shocked to know she wasn't a dude.

"Well... everyone thought you guys were 'male' because of the way you guys present yourselves," Essex explained to them why the guys were disappointed.

Cleveland chuckled, finding it hilarious. "Ha, ha, sorry about that, everyone here on the base thought of us sisters like that when we first came here."

Enterprise-80 held her chin and pondered. "I guess they were right; they do look male from a first glance."

Bunker Hill shifted her glasses. "It is, minus the details. I thought it myself too."

"I guess the boisterous part of their personality is their active participation as cruisers," Frigate Belfast surmised.

"Makes sense."

The Royal Navy Shipgirls just laughed and giggled at the shenanigans of the Eagle Union counterparts.

"Okay ladies, it's time to introduce yourselves as well," Admiral Philips addressed the Royal Navy Shipgirls.

A short-haired blond woman wearing an Officer Dress of the Grenadier Guard introduced herself in a manner of nobility. "My name is HMS Prince of Wales, 2nd of the King George Class Battleships. It's a pleasure to meet you."

"It's a pleasure to meet you too, Miss Wales," Enterprise-80 greeted her with a handshake.

A woman wearing Edwardian fashion clothing with a British flag on her left shoulder introduced herself in how you would expect from a woman born into high nobility.

"Greetings, my name is HMS Hood, an Admiral Class Battlecruiser. And it's a pleasure to meet you other-worlders."

Lucas whispered under his breath, insulting the nobilities. "That's quite fancy of you, Madame."

William commented. "This is the kind of woman you don't see quite often."

Everyone next to him quickly turned their heads at him and couldn't believe he said that in front of a nobility.

Hood just giggled, finding him quite a gentleman and funny. "I can't believe a man would say that to me." She then followed it with muffled chuckles.

William tipped his cap as an acknowledgment.

"So, this is how they pick women back in those days, huh?" Arizona asked himself in amazement and disbelief.

"Yeah..." Lucas agreed with him.

As the two agreed on something, a white-haired woman wearing a White Dress and Summer Hat got their attention as she introduced herself.

"Greetings, the name is Illustrious of the Illustrious Class Carrier. And it's quite a pleasure to meet you Kansens from another world."

Lucas's mouth gaped as the two assets she carried baffled him. "We're really getting fancier, are we?"

"We're talking about the British here in the 1940s, but the dresses seem to be on the more revealing side," Arizona gave his thought.

"That's quite top-heavy," Essex commented on the heavy load of the Armored Carrier.

"Hey kid, where are you staring at?" Denver-856 asked, noticing Lafayette having a mid-life crisis.

Everyone turned their gaze to Lafayette, who was staring at Illustrious; he wasn't directly staring at her. He caught a glimpse of a Purple Hair Girl hiding behind Illustrious while holding her plushy Unicorn.

Her poking head and innocent look on her face caught their attention, and they pondered why she was poking her head back and forth as she accidentally made contact with each of them. She was avoiding eye contact with them, as she hid behind Illustrious.

"Umm... who's that?" Lafayette pointed at the girl hiding behind Illustrious, whom he just noticed staring at him for a moment before hiding herself.

"Ohh...." Illustrious looked behind her, as Unicorn hid herself from the attention of the Modern Kansens.

"Go on, Unicorn, introduce yourself; they are waiting. Sorry, she's kind of shy to new faces," Illustrious apologized for Unicorn's shyness.

"No need to apologize, Miss Illustrious. We understand," Enterprise-80 said, understanding Unicorn's concern about the new faces.

Unicorn made her shy-girl noises and slowly came out from her hiding spot and faced them. She then spoke in her typical shy personality, but her stack got most of the attention.

Denver-856 and Essex thought, 'What the hell.'

Bunker Hill's mind was in shambles. 'How did this little girl have a bigger development than the rest of the Destroyers?'

"What the!" Arizona's stoicism broke.

"Oh... boy," William muttered.
