James, Jasmine, Saya, Saeko, and Lois stepped out of the store.
Saya glanced at the sword in James's hand. "We came in for one item and it was a rusty sword," she remarked.
"I thought you liked shopping," Lois remarked.
Saeko tightened her grip on James's arm, pressing against him. Her large breasts hugged his arm. "Danna-sama would like to come along and see us shopping for outfits," she remarked.
Saya crossed her arms, exhaling. "I wouldn't care," she responded.
"Yuriko mentioned you were worried about what James would think of your clothes this morning," Jasmine said.
Saya's face turned red in an instant. "Mum," she muttered, barely audible.
The group chuckled, enjoying the moment.
"Well, I think you look beautiful in that outfit," James said. Saya looked a little red.
Ahead, Nell, Cera, and Rachnera approached them. Cera spotted James first, her excitement undeniable as she galloped toward him. "Master," she said. Her ears flopped around.
Nell followed behind. She looked a little tired.
"All good?" James asked.
"Tiring," Nell exhaled.
"What happened?" Jasmine asked.
Rachnera slammed Ulticurse into the ground. "I was about to teach some punks some manners," she remarked.
"They called us monsters," Cera said. "That we would be good life stock," she added.
Rachnera scoffed. "Not that I was going to kill them," she responded.
Nell rubbed her temples. "It was tough calming them down," she said.
"I would have taught them a lesson, tell me when we see them next," James said. He looked at Nell.
James looked at Nell. "Were there any quests on the board?" he asked.
Nell nodded. "Yes, there were. We can do one now," she replied.
"Then let's move and do one," James responded.
"Sounds fun," Jasmine added.
"Finally, I get to shoot something," Lois replied.
Saya sighed, still a little flushed from earlier conversation. "Fine. Let's see them, then," she said.
The group passed beyond the city walls, stepping into the forest. .
"What's the quest?" Saeko asked as she adjusted the grip on her sword.
"We have to kill five orcs," she replied.
"Other creatures walketh these woods?" Cera asked.
"Yes, but not all monsters are the same. Some are good and some are bad," Nell responded.
"Anyone who tries to harm any of you will suffer," James stated.
Rachnera smirked. "I'd expect nothing less," she said.
"So we kill them and bring their bodies back?" Saya asked, looking around.
"That part sounds boring," Jasmine sighed.
"Didn't you just say you wanted fun?" Saya asked.
Lois tapped the side of her rifle. "Are the rewards good?" she asked.
"I thought you wanted to shoot something," Racherna replied.
Lois shrugged. "I do and I still want a decent payout," she responded.
"We do have lots of gold," Jasmine said.
"More the better," Lois said.
"So where do we find these Orcs?" Saya asked.
Saeko heard some grass rustling. "They might have found us," Saeko responded.
At that moment half a dozen figures started to approach. They had pointed ears, a bald head, and a mischievous expression with a wide grin showing sharp teeth. They were all shirtless and were green.
"Scanning a new lifeform," the Ultimatrix said. A green beam scanned the figure. It scanned from head to toe. The scan finished. "New life form acquired," the Ultimatrix added. The faceplate went back in the watch. James smiled and thought another transformation for him to use.
"These are not orcs," Racherna said.
"Goblins. They can be sneaky and sometimes tough," Nell said as she got her sword out.
Lois aimed her M4W. She lined the shot up with the first Goblin's head and fired. The bullet went through the air and hit the Goblin in the face. Its head rocked back and there was a hole in his face as it collapsed. She quickly aimed her M4W and shot the second Goblin in the head. The bullet hit his eye and he collapsed. She then fired a third, fourth, fifth and sixth shot at the Goblins. They all got hit in the forehead and went down.
"All done," Lois remarked.
"Good job," Jasmine said.
Nell was a little shocked. The weapon she used was loud. However it was very powerful. It instantly killed all of them. It was like an arrow but much stronger. "This might have attracted some unwanted attention," Nell said.
"Well, do we get anything for killing goblins?" Lois asked as she looked at their dead bodies.
Nell thought for a second. She remembered the board. "There is no quest so sadly no," Nell responded.
"That does suck," Lois responded.
"We should head back, there is no one here now," James said. "And I don't want to wait around to find them," he added.
"You did suggest this," Saya said.
"We can get some lunch instead," James said. He thought of just playing with the cannon as long as he could.
"More tentacle food," Saya remarked.
"It was delicious," Jasmine said.
"Let's head back and get some," James said.
Meanwhile in a random place, several clocked men stood around an altar. The building was made of bricks and it was dark. On the altar there was a small lamp. The man behind the altar spoke, "First of all let me report to you all. The Demon Blade has been stolen."
They all looked in panic. "What did you say?" one clocked man said.
"Was it the governor?" another asked. His voice sounded angry.
"No, they picked a fight with a tourist," the man behind the altar said calmly.
"Someone wielding a demon blade just lost like that?" a clocked man asked. "To a regular person," he added.
"You can't blame him, not many people can keep their sanity after holding a demon blade. He was just a thug," the man behind the altar responded.
"Can we just brainwash the user?" one clocked man suggested.
"It is more complicated than that. I don't sense the blade, they did something to it," the man behind the altar said. "He seems quite strong, so let's forget the blade. There will be a change of plan. There is no need to hold back. We will be using that," he added.
