-3rd POV-
"Bollocks!" Welt muttered under his breath as he hid in the shadows with Rosetta.
After escaping the forest, they both headed to the nearest town to hide. But the place was infested with as many Pendragon knights as there were back in the woods.
They attempted to leave quietly after finding this out, but it became impossible to get past the Pendragons. It was as easy to get in as it was hard to get out.
And now they lurked in the darkness with both heirs strapped on them, avoiding danger at all costs.
"We can't keep running," Rosetta said with a sigh. It was hard to stay hidden from these experienced knights. And they've also had a few close calls because either one of the babies cried, began to giggle, or made any noise in general. And they couldn't even use magic to mask the sound because any of the Pendragon knights could easily sense the magic being used, which would reveal their position.
The babies that they were supposed to protect were the problems themselves.
Welt bit his lip in frustration. He didn't know what to do; they were cornered.
"Hm?" From the corner of his eye, he noticed a specific building across the street, the gate presenting the name "New Heidei Orphanage".
"Rosetta..." He spoke softly to her, nudging her in the direction of the orphanage.
"...Do we truly have no options left?" She asked in frustration. They couldn't keep going on like this with both babies, and this was the only way to hide them both completely.
It especially helped that they were both newborns, thus most of their inherited features shouldn't become present until later on in their lives, and the search and obliteration of the rebellious lower houses had passed.
"Yes...let us say our goodbyes," Welt sadly confirmed.
After saying their goodbyes, Rosetta handed the little Apocalypse to Welt. There wasn't any need for both of them to come out. It would only increase their chances of getting caught.
As he arrived at the front door of the orphanage as silently as he could, he slowly laid the babies on the floor, both in a basket he had found in the alley.
But before he knocked, he took out a card from his pocket and slipped it next to Joachim.
The card read "Welt Yang".
It was the new name Welt had given the young master. It was his first name, along with the last name of young Joachim's mother, Yang.
And with that final goodbye, Welt knocked on the door and disappeared into the night.
-Scene Change-
"Just realized that?" Welt asked the bleeding Uther.
Uther let out a wheezing chuckle, "haha- *Cough!* Ugh! The appearance of those bastards from Nokianvirtanen's house was never really that unique," He spoke.
Welt just rolled his eyes, glad that Uther's death was slow and painful.
Seeing how annoyed Welt was getting, Otto decided that it was time to end things.
He opened his hand and created an iron sword with [Reason].
"I, Otto Apocalypse, bury you her-"
"Was this all worth the slaughter, Otto?"
Otto froze up as he heard that familiar voice.
Turning around, he looked at the door that was being opened.
"Kallen..." Otto muttered her name softly.
