Situation - The Kingdom of Luaria and other hostile elements have taken up arms against Order Militant forces after our successful entrance into Realm-FA-0032. The Kingdom of Luaria, the only major faction in the area, has access to highly trained war mages, dragon riders, golems, and other mythical creatures thought to be extinct. Because of these factors, they have proven to be formidable against our forces. The Kingdom is under the control of a monarch and a council of zealot mages.
As the Kingdom of Luaria is our primary adversary, a decisive blow against the leadership of the kingdom will bring about the end to any major hostilities in the realm. However, the path to the Kingdom is well defended by dragons and mages, which makes any standard strike and bombing operation against the City of Luaria impossible.
After seizing important assets and understanding the Luarian religion. We discovered that we have the technical means to achieve their "end times" and "bringing about the Children of the Sky". Discussing the scripture about the end of the world caused Luarian POWs to be hushed and go into a frenzy. Mission - Operation: Falling Skies.
Execution - 1st Drop Squadron will transport 1st Mech Assault Platoon through the Realm of the Dead and reappear back into the material world on top of the City of Luaria. There, the Drop Squadron will disengage and return through the Realm of the Dead back to FOB-Omega while the Mech Assault Platoon engage with the city and its defenders. There, the platoon will achieve five tasks.
Task 1 - Successfully drop into the city: Due to how the scripture details the end times. It is believed by the local populace that the Children of the Sky will "fall from the heavens and bring destruction to all undeserving". The completion of the task will cause nationwide distress due to collective superstition.
Task 2 - Destroy the Magic Spire: The Spire located in the city is suspected to have two purposes. The first is to defend the city by creating a magical field to repel against artillery fire, while the second purpose is for the mages in the spire to communicate with every magic user throughout the realm. Giving the Kingdom of Luaria strategic, tactical, and logistical capabilities. Destroying the spire will disrupt any and all enemy forces in the realm. The task is of top priority.
Task 3 - Destroy and damage any/all economic and strategic infrastructure: The Kingdom of Luaria has proven to be a formidable force. Disrupting their economy can cause immediate internal conflicts within their military and their society. The task is a high priority.
Task 4 - Kill the head mages: Killing all head mages and magic users can severely demoralise all opposing forces and devastate their magical capabilities. The task is a high priority.
Task 5 - Kill the King: King Salivar, the third, is the current sovereign of the Kingdom of Luaria and the leader of the opposing factions. His death is a top priority and will bring about not just the collapse of the Kingdom of Luaria but also shatter the alliance he has forged to go against the Order Militant.
