Chapter 5 - Chapter 5 "Poison Elder Mo"

After Shui Jin left, the door forcefully opened, and two servants barged in while Shi Jian was putting on his pants.

Upon seeing them, he mocked, "Why are you in such a rush? Don't you know I'm exhausted from dual cultivating with Madam?" His tone was clearly a tease to the two who must have wanted to tear Shi Jian in half, while he pointed towards the bed sheets, which were wet from Shui Jin's body fluid.

These two were the oldest of the furnaces. One was a mid-stage Spirit Vein Awakening Realm cultivator, while the other was an early-stage Spirit Vein Awakening Realm cultivator.

These two had been with Shui Jin since she married the Poison Elder. They had been with her for more than a decade and had their share of nightly passion with Shui Jin.

The Poison Elder wasn't a dual cultivator and, as he couldn't let her use his yang essence (since he wasn't a dual cultivator or someone with a special constitution that could help in dual cultivation), he himself proposed the idea of capturing furnaces and letting his wife dual cultivate with them.

However, she was forbidden to cheat on him or engage with anyone other than the furnaces.

This is why he captured these two at the beginning of their marriage as a "gift." To him, these furnaces weren't even human but more like human medicine to help his wife.

However, since Shi Jian arrived six months ago, these two got the least amount of chances to dual cultivate with Shui Jin—almost nothing.

The only times she had sex with these two were when she wanted to absorb their cultivation, which wasn't much needed as she was already two realms ahead of them.

Slowly, they could feel that their importance had diminished, especially due to Shi Jian.

Before him, when other furnaces were exhausted, Shui Jin would call them twice a week to serve her, but after Shi Jian's arrival, their chances became less and less as time went by.

"You bastard, what did you tell the Madam?" the elder servant directly asked. He feared that Shi Jian had already told Madam about the attack.

"What are you talking about?" Shi Jian shrugged his shoulders.

"Bastard! Don't test my patience," the elder servant growled, his face contorted in a mix of fury and frustration.

"Because of you, Madam has neglected us! We've served her for years, diligently, and now you come along and ruin everything!"

Shi Jian's smirk only widened. "Why are you behaving like you aren't just mere furnaces but her husband?"

he retorted, his voice dripping with condescension. "Last I checked, you're here to provide yang essence, nothing more. Don't mistake a shared bed for a shared heart."

The younger servant lunged forward, only to be held back by the elder. "Watch your tongue, boy," the elder servant spat, his eyes narrowed into dangerous slits.

"We were here long before you. You'd do well to remember that and be vigilant." It was an undeniable threat, a promise of retribution.

The servants, consumed by their simmering resentment, were clearly plotting Shi Jian's demise.

They shared the same intentions as Shi Jian, believing that once Shui Jin left for the Mara Festival with the Poison Elder, they would finally have their chance to eliminate him but they remained blissfully unaware that Shi Jian would be accompanying Shui Jin.

A fact that would undoubtedly derail their vengeful plans.

Meanwhile, inside the room, when Shi Jin arrived, Poison elder Mo was already waiting for her.

The moment she entered the room, he directly asked, "What took you so long? I informed you about my arrival an hour ago."

Shui Jin simply smiled, "I was busy with something." Her casual reply, however, only seemed to fuel the Poison Elder's ire.

"Busy fucking with those furnaces, you mean!" he snapped, his voice sharp and stern.

Shui Jin's eyes widened in surprise, but Poison elder merely chuckled darkly. "I've been with you for more than a decade, my dear. I can smell the stored semen inside your body with just one glance."

His words then trailed off, his gaze fixed on her cultivation. "Mid-stage Spirit Sea Formation? You broke into the mid-stage in just three months? Is that Yang furnace alive or dead? You must have sucked him dry!"

"He's alive and well," Shui Jin replied, a hint of pride in her voice. "And not only that, he has somehow broken the shackles of mortality and entered the early stage of the Spirit Vein Awakening realm."

Poison Elder Mo squinted his eyes, a flicker of disbelief crossing his face. "But wasn't he a cultivation cripple due to his Yang essence constitution? How is that even possible?"

Shui Jin moved to sit beside him, a playful gleam in her eye. "It doesn't matter how he achieved that, my love. The important thing is that I can now use him as much as I want."

The Poison Elder returned her smile, but a prickle of uncertainty about Shi Jian's sudden growth began to nag at his heart. This unexpected development with a mere furnace was highly unusual, and it raised questions he wasn't yet ready to address.

Shui Jin continued, her gaze fixed on his, "That's why I have something to ask from you."

The Poison Elder, maintaining his stern expression, nodded. "And what is it you want from me now? Another furnace? My dear, those aren't easy to find."

However, Shui Jin shook her head. "No, I'm content with Shi Jian. What I want is a position for him. I want you to accept him as your third disciple."

"IMPOSSIBLE!" The Poison Elder shot up from his chair.

"How can I take a nobody as my disciple? Don't you know that if I do that, I'll have to inform the Elder Hall, and it will only raise questions about my reputation?"

Shui Jin, fully aware of these implications, dropped to her knees, her hands reaching for the Poison Elder's thighs. But he pulled away. "Making him a disciple might not be possible, but giving him a position is a different thing, but...."

He couldn't help but ask, "But why are you doing this for a mere furnace?"

"He's different from others, and he's the reason behind my increased cultivation," she explained. "So, I want him to have a better status."

Poison elder contemplated for a while. Shui Jin's reasons weren't matching with her enthusiasm; it was more like an obsession.

Then, making up his mind, he spoke. "If you want to raise his status from a servant, then he has to go through the basic training of our sect before he can be qualified as something more than a mere servant."

"If you really wish for this, then I'll talk to the outer gate instructor. But be warned, whether he survives the training or loses his life, that will be up to him." After agreeing to her request, he made the condition clear.

His true thoughts were unknown; whether he genuinely wanted to fulfill her wish or merely intended to rid her of this obsession, he agreed, and now it was up to Shui Jin to decide.

"Then I have another request?"
