Kai woke, gasping, hand to chest.
In his palm was a fragment—not metal, but syllables forged into blade-shape.
> [Fragment Acquired: LUCIDA'S MIRROR SWORD]
Effect: Rewrites illusions into truths. Cuts not flesh, but perception.
"What… is this?" he whispered.
But the Codex remained silent.
Instead, the world bent slightly.
The morning mist parted.
Two disciples stared at him from the ridge above.
"He's the one," one whispered. "The trash who rewrote the elder's death."
Their swords were already drawn.
Kai stood.
The sword in his hand glowed faintly—not sharp, not even real.
But it didn't need to be.
He raised it.
> "You want truth? Then let me show you what fake really means."
And he slashed.
The world blinked.

Author Note: The sword isn't physical. It's language shaped into war. Lucida watches. Heaven flinches.
