The next day free woke up in his bed, he look at the birds chirping outside the window, his mind went back to last night event his glow and the warmth.
Last night was great. He thought as he stared at his hands and he tried to raise it higher, but it was hard as his body was still weak. Come on atleast i should be strong enough to move my hand freely.
He struggle for a while and eventually gave up.i-i still am not able to freely move. he gasps for air staring at the ceiling
Birds outside chirped softly and fly off. Inside free was staring at the ceiling a bit bored. *sighs* i'm bored, maybe i should use magic again? Okay let's do it. He focus in his hand and Oo light of goddess, please cleanse our wounds and suffering, light heal. His hands glowed green and free giggle a bit but the light stay longer. Wow it didn't fade right away! He thought. "gah!" he said happily
2 minutes passed. Then 3 and eventually 5 and free felt dizzy and he fall unconcious again
Meanwhile down at the kitchen hina tilt her head and lina blink "lady hina did you felt that too?" she ask looking up
Hina nodded and look up to where free should be "yeah, feels like someone with a mana equals to a mid class mage is here" she said uneasy creeping on her face
"let's go and look" lina said grabbing two knife from the kitchen with both hands
"y-yeah" she said as she turn to go up and she prepared a spell. Oo Fire goddess, i respect and have faith in you from the bottom of my heart please grant me your blessing, fire ball!.she chanted
They go up and lina checked the room left to where free was "no one's here" she said
Hina opened the room where she,philip and free sleeps and she look at free who was sleeping peacefully at his bed. then she tilt her head, her expression changing from uneasy to disbelief "w-wait is this mana coming from...." she paused and goes close to free
"lady hina is there a proble–" lina ask and she sense it her expression went from caution to shock "i-is this coming from..."
"...free" hina said sweating visibly, she quickly shrugged the thought away from her mind "no no..hahahaaa. it can't be, yeah! It isn't i am just hallucinating!" hina said as she shook her head
"lady hina are you sure this is a hallucination" lina said staring at free the two knife already lowered."i mean young master is already above average from a normal person in terms of mana" she said
"N-no we're just tired today!" hina said as she storm out of the room. "lina let's go we should cook lunch before philip arrives" she said walking down
"yeah...." lina said following after hina
At afternoon free's eye open, he glance left and right. No one's here, let's try it again. He thought .Oo light of goddess, please cleanse our wounds and suffering, light heal. His hands glowed again free crack a grin and look at his hand this time the glow stayed longer. Wait stop! Before someone comes. free thought as the glow in his hand glowing brighter. Stop! Stop! stoappp!. He starts to panic but it only brighter. Stoppppppp! Wait, maybe i should relax, yeah relax relax. He relax his body and the glow started to fade. Yes, it's working. He thought to himself
But down the stair from his room.creakkkk!. The door burst open and philip enter with his sword in his hands "yeah baby! i slay 7 goblins this morning!" he shouted proudly
"shut up philip" hina came out from the kitchen cleaning a mug with a towel. "wash your hands and face before touching the food" she said
"welcome home, lord philip" lina bowed from the kitchen entrance
"thanks!" he said putting his sword at the corner and he entered the bathroom to wash his hands and face
But in the kitchen...."lady hina, it is coming again and this time stronger" she said looking up to where hina and philip room were
"w-what i d-didn't hear that" hina said entering the kitchen, placing the plate of food with a thud in the table
"lady hina you can act, but you can't hide the fact that the high mana is coming from young master" she said staring at hina
Hina stayed silent. Philip enter the kitchen not sensing the atmosphere of the room, he sat down and took the meat in the tabke and ate it "delicious as ever honey!" he said biting a meat of orc he and the adventurers hunted yesterday
"y-yeah, thanks" she said sitting and taking her own bite
"why are you pale? are you sick" philip ask sensing hina uneasiness
"n-no i am fine, i-its just that i feel like there is a high mana in the house" she said forcing a smile
"maybe you are sick, i don't sense any high mana here" Philip shrugged as he take a big bite from the meat
"lord philip to remind you, you can sense physical pressure not mana pressure" lina interrupted as she set another plate of orc meat
"y-yeah you are right" philip said giving an awkward smile. I should think before i open my mouth philip thought
"l-lina please go and take free from his room, it's time to feed him" hina said as she gave a forced smile
But at the room free was grinning as he made the green glow appeared and fade again.this is so fun he thought
Then... Thump. Thump. Thump foot steps came and free quickly deactivate the green glow of healing magic
Lina enter calmly "young master it's time for food" she said and took free from his bed. She paused and look at free for a second. this mana is on par with a high mage now!. she thought as she carefuly walk down the stairs with free on her arms
