Chapter 2 - Chapter 2: Goblin Slayer

Jake finally took his first step towards his transmigrated world: Iganaria, a land of magic and swords. Mana laid its ties into the roots of plants, and through them, it was exhaled from their leaves.

"What a beautiful world!"

Jake looked beside him; the dummy was standing there. "What do you think, Gobolin-sama?"

The dummy tilted its head, looking at Jake. "Master, who is this Gowolin-chama?"

Jake laughed at the dummy, who stood there, confused.

Now, it was time for Jake Miller's adventure to begin. In front of him lay a vast forest, ready to be explored and to hand him an elf as a reward for existing.

"My elf waifu, here I come!" Jake exclaimed as he stepped into the forest.

The dummy asked his master, "Waifu elf, does Master eat elves?"

Jake glanced at his sidekick, "No, we make a harem."

The dummy, still pressing, "Harem?"

"Yes, a group of women who like me and only me. Isn't that great?"

The dummy tried to understand. "We, like Master, are we your harem?"

Jake was so disgusted by this that his face twisted in horror. "No, are you crazy?! Glasses, shut this green midget up."

Nerdy looked at his master, sighed, and then tore some clothes off of Gloomy. Gloomy tried to resist, but Nerdy just tore it and then used it to tie around the Dummy's mouth.

"Master, he will not bother you anymore." Nerdy bowed a little.

"You are the only one useful here."

"Thanks for the compliment, Master."

The forest was dark and gloomy, unlike the fantasy world promised to an isekaied person. Numerous creatures lurked, ready to kill and devour the flesh of the living; this was a truly bad place for a city boy. But Jake didn't know.

Jake and his cohort of goblins ventured deep into the forest for elf hunting, but they didn't know there was a hunter there too, who was doing some hunting of his own. Clad in armor covering him from head to toe, the hunter was sinister. He was hunting small green men in a gruesome manner, filled with only hatred for the green men he pursued. Soon, his path would cross with Jake, the waifu hunter, the elf lover, and a potential harem builder.

Jake was walking through the forest, now dead tired from his hunt. He hadn't found a single elf yet, if they even existed in this world.

"Ugh... Where is my..." Before this degenerate could finish his sentence, a well-meaning hunter shot an arrow, but by the curse of the devil, the bastard missed. The arrow instead struck the dummy. Oh, poor soul.

Before Jake could assess what was happening, another arrow shot, this time hitting Nerdy.

'Oh no, run, run, run! I can't die without my harem.' This coward ran, leaving behind his goblin friends to die. Unfortunately, the hunter didn't care about this pipsqueak, so for now, the bastard was safe.

Sometimes the world is cruel...

Jake, while running, was begging someone, "God, please let me survive this... I will pray to you daily."

When he should be begging me, I am writing his story, god damn it.

Gloomy was so gloomy that he was camouflaged into the gloomy forest, so the hunter didn't see him. After lodging his arrow, the hunter came to finish the job. There lay the bloodied bodies of two goblins, one wearing glasses and the other with his mouth shut. Seeing that, the hunter flinched a little. He looked toward the footsteps left by a scrawny mage who had soiled his pants while running, then he looked towards the goblins.

Without saying anything, he pulled out a rope and tied it around the goblins, then began following the footsteps. The footsteps led out of the forest towards a cabin.

Tracing the footsteps, the hunter arrived at the cabin door when suddenly a darkness enveloped him. This darkness slowly crept towards the hunter's joints. Before the hunter could do anything, a laugh so malicious even demons began visiting churches to purify themselves.

"Mr. Goblin Slayer, today you are going to face the wrath of the world's strongest summoner, Corvus Montague."

The hunter was looking straight at Jake.

Jake flinched for a second, "Don't tell me..."
