Chapter 60 - Chapter 60 : They Who Should Not Know

**Cloud Vein Sect – Midnight**

Zeravon lay still in his room.

He had not moved in hours.

But the **air** around him had.

The wind refused to enter through the window. The wooden walls creaked with unease. Even the moonlight flickered unnaturally on the floor, like it wasn't sure where to fall.

Inside his body, something ancient **had stirred** — but it did not speak.

It only watched.

---

**Meanwhile – Yueyin's Hidden Chamber**

Far from the outer disciples' courtyard, in the hidden spiritual chamber she had secretly claimed, **Yueyin's pendant** began glowing violently.

She gasped as the spiritual thread tied to Zeravon pulled **harder than ever before**.

> *"The seal… it cracked again?"*

She looked into the pendant's reflecting surface — and instead of seeing her face, she saw…

**Eyes.**

Not Zeravon's.

Not hers.

But **eyes that should not exist in this realm** — eyes born beyond existence.

And for the first time, Yueyin shivered in fear.

> *"He isn't just someone powerful."*

> *"He's… someone they tried to erase."*

---

**Next Morning – Outer Grounds**

Disciples were whispering.

**Jin Qiang** was missing.

Two others — **Su Lian** and **Ming Bo** — were found *unconscious*, their bones shattered but no wound visible. Their souls were intact — but **refused to wake**.

Instructor Wei stood silently beside the medical elders.

> "This… isn't natural," one of them said. "There's no spiritual poison. No Qi backlash. It's as if… something *remembered them wrong.*"

Elder Lin clenched his fist.

> *"He's doing this,"* he muttered.

But Instructor Wei said nothing — only stared toward the distance where Zeravon's room lay.

---

**Inside Zeravon's Room**

Zeravon opened his eyes.

He did not yawn. Did not stretch.

He simply stood up.

The Yueyin pendant, now cracked and half-faded, hung beside his heart.

As he stepped out of the room — the **space outside bent slightly**. The disciples nearby felt sudden nausea, their Qi misaligned for just a blink of a moment.

He kept walking, unaware of what he had become.

Or what was watching him.

---

**In the Skies Above – Hidden Dimension Overlap**

A ripple passed through a layer **only visible to cultivators of the Monarch Ascension Realm or higher**.

A figure descended silently — robed in transparent cloth woven from Dao threads.

His face was blank. His aura — absent.

But he held in his hand a **scroll made of living memory**.

He floated down until he reached the boundary of the Cloud Vein Sect… then walked straight toward Zeravon.

---

**Training Grounds – Zeravon's Practice**

Zeravon practiced again in the usual empty corner.

His movements were slow. Intentional.

He was not cultivating technique — he was **remembering motion**.

And without realizing it, each gesture carved tiny golden symbols in the air — **invisible to all**, except the one approaching him.

The moment the robed figure stepped near him — time bent.

Zeravon looked up.

> "Who are you?"

The figure unrolled the scroll.

A thousand names floated inside.

And every single one had been **erased**.

> "You are not allowed to remember him."

> "You are not allowed to awaken."

> "Forget. Yourself."

The figure raised the scroll.

A blinding white vortex of light exploded.

---

**But Zeravon did not vanish.**

Instead, the scroll **burned in his presence**.

No resistance. No deflection.

It simply **caught fire** — like truth **rejecting falsehood**.

The figure stepped back, shaking.

> *"Impossible… it's happening again…!"*

Zeravon walked forward.

Not fast. Not angry.

Just… inevitable.

> "You are not from this realm," he said.

> "You came to silence me."

> "Then hear my silence."

He raised his hand.

The sky above the sect suddenly went **blank**.

Not dark. Not cloudy.

Just… gone.

The figure screamed — but no sound emerged.

It vanished into ash.

And as reality reformed…

Zeravon collapsed.

---

**A Few Moments Later – Sect Healers' Pavilion**

Zeravon awoke.

Disciples stood far away, whispering.

Elder Lin stared at him from a distance.

But no one dared approach.

Not after what happened in the sky.

Yueyin sat quietly nearby, hands folded.

> "You still don't know what you are… do you?"

Zeravon blinked.

> "No."

> "But the world around me does."

---

**High Above – In the Heavens**

Celestial beings who had been watching from realms untouched by time gathered again.

One said:

> "He rejected memory erasure… again."

Another whispered:

> "If he remembers the Third Name… not even the **Upper Thrones** can rewrite him."

A third, ancient voice — cracked with terror:

> "He's not awakening…

> He's **rebuilding.**"
