Chapter 5 - Head to Midgard, Spiritual Faith Energy Conversion Upon hearing Lucifer’s explanation, Odin fell into thought for a while.

Throughout his long life, Odin had spent most of his time in battles and conflicts.

He had always fought for Asgard.

Now, looking back at Lucifer and his own current mindset, it seemed as though Lucifer had long since reached a realm Odin himself had yet to attain.

This realization left Odin sighing in admiration.

Next.

Lucifer figured it was about time to set things in motion.

Since the goal was to develop civilization, it certainly wouldn't happen while lounging around here.

He needed to find a place suitable for his own growth and to utilize the system.

"What's next on the agenda?"

Odin, feeling somewhat at ease, stroked his beard.

Simply being able to voice this troublesome matter and seek a solution had already lightened his burden.

"Head to Midgard," Lucifer replied, switching the leg he had crossed.

"Midgard?" Odin furrowed his brow in confusion.

Midgard, also known as Earth.

Was it truly a place suitable for civilizational development?

Though Odin didn't fully understand, Lucifer naturally had his reasons.

He had thought of a condition that aligned with mythology and could be immediately utilized:

Spiritual Faith Energy Conversion.

In simple terms, the people of Earth already possessed a mindset of faith in mythology.

If Lucifer harnessed this properly, it would greatly aid him.

If this technology could convert the goodwill or faith people held toward angels into the purest form of energy…

It would be far more practical and powerful than dark energy or solar energy.

Ding~!

[Angel Civilization Technology Setting Successful]

[Spiritual Faith Energy Conversion Technology: Converts biological beings' goodwill toward angelic civilization into special faith energy, usable for creating angels, reality manipulation, super energy, etc.]

[Note: The higher the goodwill, the more energy is converted.]

In that instant of clarity, Lucifer directly mastered this unique blend of myth and science.

The converted energy would be stored directly within his body.

This was the power of an Angel King!

He had set the technological framework for angelic civilization!

With this new technology, Lucifer's mood brightened.

He nodded at Odin and said, "Yes, Midgard is an important place for me. Perhaps I'll make it my home."

Declaring Midgard as his home was a way of telling Odin that Midgard—or Earth—was something Lucifer, or angelic civilization, desired. Whether in the past or future, it held great significance.

However, Odin wasn't particularly concerned about Midgard at the moment.

"Midgard's resources are quite scarce, mostly ordinary," Odin remarked. "And Thanos will definitely go there."

"If you claim Midgard as yours, there'll surely be conflict between you."

In Earth's timeline, it was roughly 2009.

Thanos had adopted Gamora back in 1987.

This meant Thanos's plans for the universe had been underway for a long time.

Odin was well aware of this.

But since his own domain was secure, Thanos wouldn't dare intrude.

Midgard, however, was a different story—Thanos would certainly head there.

Even if Lucifer went to develop it now,

whether in a decade or several,

the time would still be too short for a civilization to flourish.

It would barely be past its infancy.

Facing Odin's concerns, Lucifer waved his hand dismissively: "Don't worry, it'll be handled."

Seeing Lucifer's confidence, Odin smoothed his beard.

Oddly, he suddenly felt Lucifer's assurance was rock-solid.

From the moment he first saw Lucifer, he knew there was something extraordinary about him, and now he believed him to be the king of a civilization.

Even Odin himself felt confident he hadn't misjudged.

Could this be the true charisma of a king?

Just his presence was enough to inspire trust.

Finally, picking up a fruit from the table,

Lucifer stood and said, "Time's almost up. I must go. If I make it in time, there's something in Midgard I need to handle."

With the Spiritual Faith Energy Conversion technology in hand, exposure was the next priority.

But how to expose it while maintaining the angels' lofty, godlike image was an art in itself.

The timing was around when Tony Stark's incident would occur, though the exact moment was uncertain.

Perhaps it had just happened, or maybe he was close to completing the armor and breaking out.

Regardless, this juncture couldn't be missed.

As Lucifer rose, Odin also stood, gripping the Gungnir spear.

"How do you plan to get to Midgard?"

Lucifer's steps toward the door paused.

Odin had a bad feeling.

Lucifer's angel wings hadn't yet reached a high enough level.

For time travel, he'd need either a wormhole, spatial folding, or an existing pathway—the Bifröst Bridge.

"You've been restocking dark energy for a while. How about we add this to the Ragnarok tab?"

Facing Lucifer's proposal, Odin's lips twitched in resignation.

What choice did he have? Agree, of course.

....

Standing at the end of the Bifröst Bridge, within the transport sphere, were only Odin and Heimdall.

Heimdall, the guardian, gazed at Lucifer's wings, lost in thought.

He couldn't perceive any information about Lucifer.

But since Odin had given the order,

Heimdall inserted his great sword into the central socket of the transport mechanism.

The Bifröst Bridge began channeling energy.

Soon, it reached the threshold for transport.

Watching as Lucifer's wings fluttered gently, lifting him off the ground,

Odin reminded him with a hint of caution: "Don't forget our agreement."

Lucifer nodded.

Then, with a click,

Heimdall turned the sword.

Lucifer leaned forward, willingly entering the transport channel.

Destination: Midgard (Earth).
