Not only her, but somewhere else in the village. Mona who'd just lay'd atop her bed and fallen asleep, began squirming as well, her brows furrowed tightly.

In her dreams she saw Lucian standing above her with her broadsword in his hand, pointed at her throat as she lay'd sprawled on the floor beneath him.

" Looks like I win. After all that talk you still couldn't beat me."

" You can't beat me."

" You lost, now you have to listen to my every command."

" Your nothing but a servant..."

" Your now mine..."

" Mine to do as i wish"

" You can not defy me..."

Mona began squirming more and more as his voice kept echoing in her dreams, her figure got up and began running but no matter how much she ran, she couldn't escape the voices.

The first rays of dawn barely penetrated the thatched roof of Hilga's cottage, casting faint slivers of light across her beast-skinned bedsheet.

She stirred, her eyelids heavy, a deep yawn escaping her lips as she stretched her green, tattoo covered arms, the fatigue from last night, etched into the lines of her face.

" Thanks to that human bastard, I didn't get a proper wink of sleep last night." She moaned in exhaustion.

As she shifted to rise, her body froze, a jolt of shock coursing through her. Her fingers brushed against something cold and sticky between her thighs. Heart pounding, she yanked back the coarse bedsheet, her breath catching at the sight of the glistening liquid staining her skin.

'Nooo!' A flush crept up her neck, her cheeks burning as she scrambled out of bed, her movements clumsy with embarrassment.

" When did this happen…" she muttered, her voice low and rough, as if speaking too loudly might attract unwanted attention.

"Forget it, I have to hurry up before anyone starts getting suspicious." Hilga purses her lips.

Hurrying to a corner of the cottage, she grabbed a wooden basin, filling it with water from her stored reserve. Then she took of her cloths, exposing her smooth green skin and arousing figure.

Hilga got into the basin and began taking her bath, The cold liquid splashed against her skin as she wiped herself with a damp cloth, her hands trembling slightly, her mind racing with questions she didn't dare voice.

' Of all the males, why did it have to be that annoying human.'

' Soiling myself in my sleep.'

' To think I'd actually want to mate with that human.'

' No! I refuse to believe it.'

' He's nothing but a conceited male, just like the others. falling for him is out of the question.' She shook her head, banishing the thoughts, and quickly donned her beast-skinned tube top and skirt, the familiar weight of the rough hide grounding her.

Her battle axe, propped against the wall, gleamed faintly in the dim light, and she slung it over her shoulder, its weight felt comforting, serving as a reminder of her strength.

" I'll head on over there and set that bastard straight. I won't let him do as pleases anymore."

With a final glance at the crumpled bedsheet, she strode out of the cottage, the cool morning air brushing against her flushed skin as she headed toward the back of the village.

The path to the cave was familiar, winding through the rugged outskirts where the village gave way to jagged cliffs and sparse, thorny shrubs.

Hilga's boots crunched against the gravel, her steps normal despite the unease still gnawing at her.

The cave loomed ahead, its dark mouth a complete opposite to the pale morning sky. As she stepped inside, the faint smell of damp stone and burnt torchwood greeted her, but the sight that met her eyes stopped her cold.

" Who did this?!"

Gorzod, the brutish orc who'd taken the night shift, lay sprawled on the cave floor, his massive body stark naked save for a tattered loincloth. His scarred chest rose and fell unevenly, a fresh wound on his forehead oozing a thin trickle of blood.

' Who would have been able to strike him down so easily with just one blow?'

" Did an Intruder break into the village?"

Hilga's breath hitched, and she rushed to his side, her axe clattering to the ground as she knelt beside him.

"Why are males so useless..." she muttered, her voice a mix of exasperation and concern. Her fingers, firm but gentle, brushed against his nose, feeling the faint warmth of his breath.

" Good, he's still alive." Relief washed over her, though it did little to quell the questions swirling in her mind.

'Just what happened here?' She wondered, She herself knew Gorzod since there weren't much males in the village. Amongst everyone within the village, he was no weakling, his arrogance was matched only by his strength, so who, or what, had done this?

" I was wondering if you'd come back again." a voice drawled, smooth and teasing, cutting through her thoughts like a blade.

Hilga's head snapped up, her golden eyes locking onto Lucian, the human prisoner, who leaned casually against the cave wall at the back end of the cave.

When she noticed Gorzods clothes on him, her pupils constricted in momentarily shock. She had thought that it must've been someone pretty strong to infiltrate the village and knock out Gorzod without alerting the village but, to think it was actually him who had done it.

" He really is the Lord of the Norths cub." Hilga muttered beneath her breath. Instead of feeling apprehensive, she didn't know why but she secretly felt happier at the thought.

Lucians snow white hair was disheveled, his bound hands resting loosely in his lap, but his eyes, sharp and glinting with mischief, watched her with an intensity that made her heart rate speed up all of a sudden.
