"Are you really planning to fight me in such a huge disadvantage?" Savon asked, smirking as he gestured around. "Look around you—you're surrounded by my soldiers. And do you know what my Sin is? Magnetization. I can control any metal. There's metal everywhere here, thanks to your now-destroyed lab. I could crush you at any moment. So, are you serious?"
Saas stood firm, eyes locked onto Savon. "Yeah, I am. Now shut the fuck up and kill me."
Without hesitation, Saas launched himself at Savon.
"I can fly too, you know," Savon taunted, floating effortlessly on his metal rod.
Saas smirked, pulling a small object from his pocket.
"Oh? And what's that tiny thing? Are you planning to fight me with that?" Savon chuckled.
Saas didn't answer. Instead, he pressed the object, and in an instant, a sword materialized in his hand. Before Savon could react, Saas vanished.
Savon's eyes darted around in panic. Where did he—
Suddenly, Saas appeared right in front of him, sword swinging. Savon barely managed to block, but the force sent him tumbling off his rod, crashing onto the ground below.
"Tch!" Savon gritted his teeth, quickly getting back on his feet. He let out a furious scream and charged at Saas, launching an attack.
Saas dodged smoothly, countering with a powerful punch to Savon's face.
"Nice one," Savon muttered, wiping blood from his mouth before lunging at him again.
The battle raged on. Strike after strike, counter after counter, they clashed relentlessly for over an hour. Both were exhausted, their bodies battered and bruised.
Savon panted heavily. "Saas, I'm giving you one more chance. Come with me. Why fight when you know how this ends?"
Saas let out a laugh and raised his middle finger.
"Okay… If that's what you want, take this!" Savon growled, extending his hand toward a massive metal bar nearby. The bar shot toward Saas with incredible speed.
Saas didn't move. He simply placed his sword down and stared at the incoming projectile. The bar was massive—easily ten times his size—racing toward him like a meteor.
Yet, Saas remained calm.
At the exact moment it was about to crush him, he raised his sword and muttered,
"Thousand Wings."
In an instant, he leaped onto the bar and slashed through it. The bar split cleanly in half.
Before Savon could process what had happened, Saas was already upon him. The blade sliced across his chest.
Savon let out a blood-curdling scream as he collapsed to the ground. Clutching his wound, he staggered to his feet, rage burning in his eyes. With a flick of his fingers, all the surrounding metal hurled toward Saas like a deadly storm.
Saas deflected as much as he could, but the relentless barrage shredded through his body. Blood dripped from his wounds as he struggled to keep running.
"Ha! You can barely stand. Are you exhausted already?" Savon sneered.
Saas smiled weakly.
"Flashstrike."
Before Savon could react, Saas disappeared again.
"Not again—!"
The next thing he felt was searing pain. He looked down in shock. Saas's sword had pierced straight through him.
Savon gasped, his body trembling. He shoved Saas away, his voice shaking with fury.
"You... asshole! What have you done?!" His scream echoed across the planet, shaking the very ground beneath them.
But Saas was already collapsing, exhausted and critically wounded.
Savon gritted his teeth. "Screw the reward. Soldiers, FIRE! Wipe out everything—leave no trace of him!"
The surrounding spaceships opened fire.
Saas, barely holding onto consciousness, looked up at the sky. In his fading vision, he saw Som smiling at him.
"So... this is it, huh, Som? Did I do well, Master?" he whispered, raising his arms.
At that moment, he felt a hand on his head.
"You did well, whiner." Casimir's voice echoed in his mind.
Saas smiled faintly.
Then, a rain of energy blasts consumed the planet.
Meanwhile, at the other side.
Kichu was inside the pod, staring in horror as the planet was engulfed in destruction. Tears streamed down his face.
"Sire, there's a pod rising from the planet. Should we destroy it?" one of Immortal's soldiers asked aboard Savon's ship.
Savon, still clutching his wound as he received medical treatment, sneered. "Yeah. No one escapes this planet. Wipe it out."
Kichu sobbed, gripping his knees. But before he could drown in despair, the pod violently shook.
Alarmed, he stood up and looked out. Two spaceships were pursuing him, rapidly closing in and firing at him.
His eyes widened in panic.
"Shit!"
He scrambled to the controls, frantically pressing buttons in an attempt to maneuver the pod. But in his panic, his fingers slipped onto another button.
A warning beeped.
"Oh... no!"
Before he could react, the pod suddenly accelerated at an extreme speed, nearly warping out of existence.
The sudden motion sent Kichu flying back. His head slammed against the pod's interior.
His vision blurred. His body went limp.
And then—darkness covered his eyes..
