Author's Pov...
The morning sun gleamed softly over the Vallen estate, birds chirping like the world was at peace.
Except Ren wasn't.
Not even close.
After experiencing a cold CEO, a polite butler, and a blushing plumber—all wearing the same face but acting like completely different people—Ren decided it was officially time to run.
Just for a while, he told himself. Just a little break. Just long enough to scream at my family for throwing me into this mess.
He dressed quickly, slipping into a crisp white silk shirt, the top few buttons undone to reveal his soft, fair neck and just a hint of his smooth chest. The delicate silver chain he wore glimmered lightly against his skin. Black trousers hugged his legs perfectly.
Okay. I look good. Calm. Put-together. Totally not panicking. Time to escape.
He stepped outside the grand mansion gate, breathing in the fresh morning air.
But the peaceful moment shattered instantly.
A loud, aggressive roar echoed from the road.
VROOOM. VROOOOM.
A sleek black motorcycle came screeching to a stop right in front of him.
Dust flew. Birds scattered. The rider swung one long leg off the bike, his black leather jacket glinting under the sun, silver chains dangling from his belt loops, wild hair ruffled like he'd just walked out of an action movie.
The rider pulled off his helmet in one smooth motion.
It was Evan.
Or rather…
Biker Evan.
His sharp eyes raked over Ren's outfit like he was undressing him with his gaze.
"Damn" Evan smirked, biting his lip slightly. "You trying to seduce someone this early, babe?"
Ren's jaw dropped. "WHAT— I'm going to visit my family! I'm not seducing anyone!"
Evan's gaze lingered on Ren's exposed collarbone and the soft skin glinting under his silver chain. "You sure about that? Dressed like that….you are begging to be stolen."
"Stolen?!" Ren yelped, stepping back in panic.
Too late.
Evan grabbed him by the waist, effortlessly swinging him onto the back of the bike.
Ren squeaked in shock, his hands flying to Evan's shoulders to balance himself.
"I—I can't ride bikes! I will die!".
"You will be fine" Evan tossed him a second helmet with a devilish grin. "I will hold you tight. You won't fall… unless I let you."
WAS THAT SUPPOSED TO BE COMFORTING?!
"Now hold on to me" Evan said, revving the engine, his voice dropping to a husky tone. "Or I will just tie you to me. Your choice."
Ren's brain officially blue-screened.
With a sharp turn, the motorcycle roared to life and shot down the road, wind whipping past them, Evan's leather jacket brushing against Ren's arms as he clung on for dear life.
"Where are we going?!" Ren shouted over the roar of the wind.
Evan laughed, wild and carefree. "You said you wanted fresh air, right? I will give you all the air you can handle."
Ren nearly cried. "This isn't what I meant!!"
From somewhere in the distance, the faintest whisper echoed:
"Four husbands down…..there are more to go."
