The night wind was soft on the floating rock. The two ships still blinked weakly metal cracked, lights dim. But the fire in their small camp glowed strong.
BoBo was humming again, off-tune, while carefully roasting a space mushroom on a metal stick. His face was full of focus. His mushroom? Already burnt black.
Then Lyra broke the silence.
Her voice was soft. Almost a whisper.
"BoBo," she said. "It's time you knew. All of you."
Sakudara and Sharmitha looked up.
Lyra took a breath. "BoBo... is the last survivor of Earth."
The world seemed to freeze for a moment. Even the fire popped quietly, like it was holding its breath.
Sakudara stood up slowly. "What?"
Sharmitha's mouth opened, but no words came.
BoBo blinked. "Wait. Like, the last last? No more Earth? No more waffles? No more cats??"
Lyra nodded. Her face was calm, but her eyes were heavy.
"Earth was destroyed 2 months ago. They told the us it was a natural explosion… but I think it was something else. BoBo was found days later. Floating Alone."
Sharmitha's hand flew to her mouth. Her voice trembled. "I… I didn't even know. We've been hiding in Jaya for two years. No internet. No signal. Earth is... gone?"
Sakudara looked stunned. "Our home planet..."
BoBo was staring into the fire now. The glow flickered across his glowing-blue veins.
"So… it's gone because of me?" he said quietly. "The power inside me… I'm the reason? I broke my planet?"
His voice was smaller than ever. His burnt mushroom slipped from his hand into the dirt.
Lyra shook her head. "You don't know that, BoBo. And even if it was connected, it's not your fault."
BoBo was quiet. Sad. His hair drooped a little.
Sakudara stood and walked over to him. He placed a firm hand on BoBo's shoulder.
"You're not BoBoBoy anymore," he said with a soft smile. "That name's too silly for a warrior."
BoBo sniffled. "But I like silly…"
Sharmitha joined them, grinning. "Then how about… Blast Bunny?"
BoBo blinked. "Huh?"
"'Blast' for your awesome power," she said. "And 'Bunny' because… well, you hop around, destroy things, and look cute while doing it."
Sakudara smirked. "It's perfect."
BoBo wiped his nose and looked up, confused. "So… I'm like... a dangerous?"
"Yes," Lyra said with a tiny smile. "A very dangerous, glowing rabbit."
BoBo's face lit up.
"I AM BLAST BUNNY!" he shouted, standing tall with arms in the air. "FEAR ME, I BRING CUDDLES AND CHAOS!"
Everyone laughed. Even Sakudara.
Then, after the laughter faded, Sharmitha stood, holding her old book with its cracked spine.
She looked around at the others. Her eyes shone in the firelight.
"We don't have a planet," she said. "We don't have a base. Or a family."
BoBo raised his hand. "I do have a sandwich I found under the seat last week,"
"Ignore him," Sakudara said quickly.
Sharmitha smiled through a tear. "But we do have each other. And maybe… that's enough. So I say this."
She held out her hand.
"Let's travel across the Eternity. Together. Visit every corner of space. Every lost place, every star. And when we find the place that finally feels like home... we stop."
Lyra reached forward first, placing her hand on top of Sharmitha's. "Agreed."
Sakudara added his. "Yeah. No more hiding."
BoBo stared, confused. Then he quickly slapped his hand on top. "I have no idea what we're doing but I'M IN!"
They all laughed.
Then Sharmitha looked down at her book.
"I'll write about it," she whispered. "Every planet. Every story. Every adventure. This time… I'm not just reading someone else's story."
She closed the book and held it to her chest.
"I'm writing ours."
They were there for a while.
Sakudara sat on a crate, arms crossed. "Both ships are damaged. No tools. No power. No parts."
Sharmitha sighed. "We need a workshop. Or a miracle."
Lyra tapped a control pad. "Waffle's core is cracked. It'll take weeks unless we find a refiner. Or someone who knows tech-level 7 mechanics."
BoBo raised his hand proudly. "I know one thing."
Everyone looked at him.
"I'm hungry."
Sakudara rolled his eyes. "We're doomed."
Then...
Soft footsteps.
Crunch... crunch...
Something was walking toward them. From the edge of the fog.
A strange shadow appeared. Tall. Wide. Slow.
It stepped closer.
And then they saw it.
A tree.
No..., not just a tree.
A man-tree.
