Chapter 23 - Chapter 27: Love, Like Velvet

The door clicked shut behind them.

Ayden leaned against it, heart pounding, eyes on Luca — who stood in the middle of the hotel suite, already tugging his hoodie over his head.

"You're impatient tonight," Ayden said, voice low.

Luca grinned, tossing the hoodie aside. "You've been staring at me since dinner like you wanted to pin me to the wall."

Ayden pushed off the door.

Walked slowly. Purposefully.

When he reached Luca, he didn't say a word — just grabbed a fistful of his shirt and yanked him into a kiss that was all teeth and tongue and need.

Luca groaned into his mouth.

Ayden pushed him backward until his knees hit the bed, then shoved him down and followed — straddling him, thighs firm against his hips.

"No more waiting," Ayden murmured.

Clothes disappeared like threads being pulled loose.

Luca's hands roamed hungrily, but Ayden grabbed his wrists and pinned them above his head.

"Tonight's mine," he said, voice edged with heat. "Don't move."

Luca shivered.

"I didn't know you could sound like that," he whispered.

Ayden smiled darkly. "You haven't earned the sounds I can make yet."

He kissed down Luca's neck, slow and wet, biting where skin dipped and muscle tensed.

Then lower — across collarbone, chest, a lazy drag of tongue across a nipple that made Luca whimper.

Ayden didn't stop. He devoured.

By the time his lips reached Luca's waistband, Luca was panting, eyes glazed, muscles trembling.

Ayden looked up from between his thighs, mouth flushed and eyes burning.

"Say my name."

Luca swallowed. "Ayden—"

"Again."

"Ayden."

That was all it took.

Ayden slid him free of everything — hands, mouth, tongue — until Luca was writhing under him, no control, no restraint.

Only need.

Only Ayden.

Later, Ayden lay against Luca's chest, fingers tracing lazy circles along his abdomen.

Luca's voice was hoarse. "You wrecked me."

Ayden smirked. "You liked it."

"I lived for it."

There was silence, then:

"You've never looked more powerful," Luca whispered. "Not on a stage. Not behind a sketchpad. Here. That was you. Unfiltered."

Ayden kissed his chest.

And whispered:

"That was me, loving you."
