Daxon lay on a lounge chair, which was under a large umbrella on a beach. It was a sunny day, and the environment shone with a golden colour courtesy of the sun.
He looked at the ladies in bikinis, and a wide grin lit his face.
He was about to relax on his lounge when something caught his attention.
From his left, a girl was walking towards him. She partly covered the sun that was behind her.
The sun behind made her silhouette glow gold, casting a gentle halo around her entire form and making her face unclear to him.
"Oh my,"
He sneered. The girl was around his age, and she was blossoming with beauty.
Her tits lay soft and portioned in her red bra, and her bikini pant was tied in knots at the sides of her hips.
She walked up to Daxon and handed over one of the hamburgers she held.
Without saying anything, she lay on the lounge chair with him.
Daxon swallowed as she cuddled him, he could feel her cold soft skin brushing off against his.
moving the hamburger to his mouth to take a bite and—
"Ouch."
He bit his hand.
His eyes slowly opened, his hand still in his mouth.
He raised his head slowly, his eyes dimmed with sleep.
There was no beach, no girls in bikinis, no river, and no hamburger. All that was there was his room.
"Aww," he groaned, slumping his head back onto his bed.
Such sweet dreams were hard to come by. He might give anything to resume that dream.
"Man, I wasn't done with that girl yet."
He hadn't even seen her face clearly, but he didn't care. That's how dreams usually are.
He rolled out of bed, smacking his lips. His mouth was filled with a great distaste; lumps of rookies were probably in there.
He groaned again, trying to dilate his eyes to match the rays of the summer sun pouring in through the window.
But at last, he had to shield his eyes with his hand, for they were still dulled by the darkness of the previous night.
Trying to stand, he stepped on his pillow. It lay on the floor as if it had quietly slipped off the bed.
Daxon's entire room looked like a war zone. It was as if the summer period had made him lazier and more irresponsible.
Clothes were strewn across the floor, particularly in front of the wardrobe, and many had clearly missed the laundry basket by heroic inches.
Posters of anime characters, along with some of his own pictures, were pinned to the wall haphazardly.
A half-eaten slice of pizza lay on a plate that had long lost its claim to freshness—probably rigid by now.
Soda cans were aligned in rows on the windowsill.
The bed was a tangle of crumpled sheets, and one pair of sneakers poked out from under it, while its brother sat atop the wardrobe.
Daxon moved sluggishly to the window. He wanted to close it, the sun was trying to burn out his eyes.
But his eyes caught something. He looked again, rubbing them now to make them clearer.
"What the fuck?"
Something was off. He turned and took his camera from the table where the pizza was, then returned to the window.
He zoomed in with the camera, and what he saw amazed him.
He looked outside the lens to confirm it wasn't just a camera trick.
Peering back into the lens, he was baffled.
"Darren?," he muttered, totally shocked.
At the far end of the street, someone was crawling out of the top basement window wearing only boxers.
The person who Daxon recognized as Darren, stepped onto the roof of the lower basement as a hand from the room handed him his trousers.
He quickly put them on right there on the rooftop before climbing down.
Just then, more of his clothes came raining down from the window as Daxon snapped away, smiling mischievously.
The window then opened widely, and a girl leaned out to whisper something to Darren though Daxon, nearly three blocks away, couldn't hear it.
The girl was Mary, Daxon's classmate. He recognized her and she was naked.
Her breasts poked out through the window when she whispered to Darren.
"Oh man, what a surprise an early morning can hold," Daxon said as he closed the window and dashed out of his room, dropping the camera on his bed.
He clambered downstairs to meet his mother. She was already up and making breakfast.
She was young, in her early thirties, with a slim figure that suited her. Her face was oval and framed by long brown hair.
"Heeeeey… Daxxy, you're up," she said, stretching her words as she smiled, showing her unusually large upper teeth.
"Good morning, Mum," he replied, with a voice she hadn't heard in a long time.
"Someone seems happy this morning," she said, chuckling. "Whassup, buddy?"
"Nothing's going on, Mum. I'm just happy, that's all," Daxon replied, his voice very clear.
"It's not possible for you to be just happy, Dax… you're never happy," came a voice from the stairs.
"How long have you been there, Lucy?" Daxon asked, ignoring what she had said.
"Long enough to hear Mum say you were happy," she replied arrogantly, climbing down the stairs.
She was in her night robe, which was big but still revealed her curves.
She was like Daxon's opposite, she got a lot of attention because of her beauty, and she was recently dating the hottest guy in their class.
"You're not even happier than me, Lucy," Daxon said.
Lucy chuckled.
"What makes you think that? You're just a lonely nerd at school."
"Oh, I see, because you're dating that dumbass?"Daxon replied.
His words were harsh, but his voice was as smooth as a breeze.
"Wait, what?" their mother tapped in, shocked. "Lucy, you're dating, and you didn't feel like telling me?"
"What the hell, Daxon?! And Mum, my boyfriend is not a dumbass. He's the hottest guy in school," Lucy replied, obviously pissed.
She wasn't sure if she was defending her boyfriend or explaining herself to her mum.
"Why didn't you tell me, Lucy?"
"I wanted to, Mum. I didn't want you to find out this way," Lucy replied, her voice now breaking down. As she cast an angry glare at Dax
"Someone doesn't look happier than meee," Daxon said, his tone annoyingly smug.
"Fuck you, Daxon," Lucy threw at him as she stormed back upstairs.
"Hey! You don't use the F-word, not to your brother!" their mum called out, but Lucy was long gone.
Daxon smiled. He was always good at making her angry, though she could be annoying too.
"You know that's no way to talk to your elder sister," their mum said as she dished out breakfast.
"You've got to apologize to her."
Daxon looked at her. The smile on his face faded as he spoke.
"She insulted me first. She called me a lonely nerd just because… I...I... just need to go wash my teeth."
He walked away.
His mum sighed, feeling the full weight of the two of them, something she'd been carrying since the summer started, when her husband left for a business proposal.
"Oh my God… teenagers."
…
Time went by, and before Daxon realized it, it was already past noon. He sat on the couch in the sitting room.
He had no plans for the day; he just sat and read Webnovel until there was a knock on the door.
Daxon looked at the door, cursing. He was too comfortable to stand, and too tired to begin with.
"Dax, get the door, please," Lucy called from her room.
Daxon strode to the door reluctantly. He peeked through the peephole before opening it.
"Oh hey, Dax," the visitor said.
He wore a black suit that made him look even hotter than usual.
"Is Lucy there? I mean is she home?"
Daxon stared at him. It felt weird, but he had a great idea.
He needed to act like everything was fine, and just like a maniac, he sniggered.
"Yes, she's in, Darren," Daxon replied.
Darren was the guy he'd seen earlier crawling out of Mary's room.
"Can I come in?"
"Yeah, sure," Daxon replied, letting out another weird snigger as he stepped aside.
He opened the door wider, and Darren entered.
Daxon gently shut it behind him, glancing at Darren before heading back to the couch.
"Did you dress like this just because you're coming to our house?" Daxon asked, scanning him again.
He was very handsome indeed. His hair was brushed to the side and looked shiny and oily.
His jawline was sharp, not to mention his physique. He was well-built, and Daxon knew what kind of abs were hiding under that suit.
Darren chuckled as he sat down.
"I'm going out with your sister, we're having lunch."Daxon nodded.
"I see. You must really love her."
Darren smiled. Dax was still the same weirdo from school, but now Daxon was acting even weirder.
"This kid is such a douchebag," Darren thought.
"…Of course I love her. Your sister is a very beautiful girl, and that's why I'm doing everything possible to be with her," Darren replied.
Daxon smiled weakly, then adjusted on the couch and, in a lowered voice, said,
"…I know you're rich, and I think I'd like to have that suit once you return from your date with my sister."
"Oh, thank you, Dax. Good to know you like my suit," Darren said as they both laughed.
The laughter was almost a long one.
"But I'm actually serious about it," Daxon said mid-laughter.
Darren's laugh slowly faded. He grew confused.
"Wait… you're serious? No, that's not going to happen. I'm not giving my costly, favourite suit to a weirdo like you."
Those words really sank into him, and now he was determined to carry out his plan fully and cold-heartedly.
"Well, I don't know… maybe I thought since you're dating my sister, we've got to be like brothers, right?" Daxon replied with an innocent shrug.
"That's it, Dax. I'm dating your sister, not you. I won't give you my suit. What makes you think that's even going to happen?" Darren said, smirking. He couldn't believe it.
"Well… because I wasn't the one crawling out of someone's window this morning," Daxon replied.
Of course, he didn't say it out loud, his sister didn't need to know. Not yet. Not until he got that suit. He had fallen in love with it.
"Wait… what?" Darren asked. He was now completely thrown off.
"What are you saying? I… I don't understand. You're sounding weird now," he stuttered.
"Well is that how I always sound..Mm... just so weird everytime ..Okay then," Daxon continued.
"Does this also seem weird to you, huh?"
He had now brandished the photo he took earlier that morning of Darren.
Darren looked at it, mouth agape. He shifted into the couch, but the comfort wasn't there, so he shifted back out.
"Now, either you give this weirdo here your suit forever" Daxon said smiling.
"… or my sister sees this. Mmm… so what's it going to be, hot boy?"
