They got to school. Dave parked his car, and they both got out.
Kelvin sighted Arya from a distance and felt jealous—he thought Dave was Arya's boyfriend.
Arya looked up, saw him, and waved. He pretended not to see her and walked past, heading to the lecture hall.
Arya followed him, wanting to know why he was suddenly acting cold. Dave noticed what was going on and gave a devilish smile—he'd finally figured out the source of his sister's happiness.
Kelvin remained cold toward Arya throughout the lecture. After class, she followed him to his car, got in, and sat down.
Kelvin gave her a mean look, but she didn't budge.
"Are you driving, or should I?" Arya asked. He finally started the car and drove out of the school compound.
Arya put in her earpods and listened to music. Kelvin kept throwing her a "where should I drop you?" look, but she didn't say a word.
He drove to his house and stopped the car. Arya finally unplugged her earpods.
She followed him inside. He offered her a drink, which she declined, insisting they talk instead.
He sat beside her. She gave him a baby look and asked, "Why have you been giving me a cold attitude suddenly after we've been vibing since yesterday? Did I say something that annoyed you? If I did, I'm really sorry. I didn't mean to hurt you."
"No, you didn't do or say anything wrong. I just didn't expect you had a boyfriend," Kelvin said.
"I guess I got ahead of myself, thinking a beautiful girl like you would be single. I just felt bad that you didn't tell me and led me on, making me feel like I had a chance with you."
"Wait, what? What boyfriend are you talking about? I'm totally single," Arya replied.
"But I saw you yesterday after school with the same guy that drove you to school this morning," Kelvin said.
"Come on, Kelvin. You can't possibly think I'm dating that lunatic—he's my brother," Arya said.
"Gosh! I feel like a fool right now," Kelvin said, and they both started laughing.
"So that's why you've been snubbing me since morning? You should have just asked me," Arya said.
"I'm so sorry for not asking and for jumping to conclusions like that. It won't happen again," Kelvin apologized.
"It's okay," Arya assured him.
"But you're single, right?" Kelvin asked.
"Yeah, I'm totally single," Arya answered.
"What do you think about me? Am I your spec?" he asked.
"Are you asking me out?"
