Chapter 55 - Revelation

With her beautiful eyes, Anna hesitated for about ten seconds before saying:

"You can choose any method that you think is the most reliable. You are a diviner, but I am not. Of course, apart from cards, I have also tried to study tarot cards at home. I always feel that they are more like toys and games."

Klein thought for a moment, resting his elbow on the edge of the table, his palms clasped at the mouth and nose position, his gaze calm, and his voice solemnly stated:

"Then let's use the horoscope for divination."

He pointed to the wet pen on the table and a stack of white papers and said:

"Write down the name of your fiancé, as well as his physical features, residence. Judging from his clothing, appearance, and temperament, I believe he is not illiterate."

Anna did not respond. She reached out and pulled out a piece of white paper, picked up the pen, dabbed some ink, and began writing, pausing from time to time for thought.

Two minutes passed, and she pushed the paper over to the other side.

Klein placed his hand on it, turned it around, and incorporated the information on the paper into his vision:

"Joyce Meyer, September 15th, 1323, 2 p.m., 8th street, Stephens, Tingen City, East District, Golden short hair, eagle-beaked nose..."

Just by glancing at it, Klein quickly calculated the birthday number of the other person:

"1 plus 5 equals 6."

In the numerology of the mysterious realm, the sum of the date of birth is called the birthday number, which affects a person's life before the age of 27, while the birth month number (the sum of the digits of the birth month until the last digit) affects from 27 to 54 years old, and the birth year number (the sum of the digits of the birth year) affects after the age of 54.

Today is July 1349, Joyce is not yet 27 years old, so Klein quickly calculated the birthday number.

And the number 6 represents a balanced, harmonious life, with a relatively good marriage or quasi-marriage.

Immediately after that, he calculated the natal number of the other person.

The so-called natal number is to replace the birth year with the current year, then add it to the birthday number and the birth month number to get the approximate fortune for the current year.

"1 + 3 + 4 + 9 = 17, 1 + 7 = 8; 8 + birth month number 9 + birthday number 6 = 23; 2 + 3 = 5; the natal number is 5, indicating changes and accidents, requiring certain risks..." Klein, considering the actual situation, made a judgment silently, determining that the information provided by Anna was relatively accurate.

He withdrew his gaze from the paper and looked at Anna, saying gently:

"Mr. Meyer set off on June 3rd?"

"If he didn't lie, that's the case." Anna bit her lip and said.

"OK." Klein took the pen and wrote this down casually.

He looked at Anna with his dark brown eyes, gently saying:

"I'm going to start drawing the corresponding horoscope. This requires a certain amount of time and absolute silence. Can you go out and wait for a while? Angelica will give you a cup of coffee or black tea."

"OK." Anna knew that some diviners have peculiar habits and was not surprised. She got up, took the sable-hued veil with pink-blue ribbons, and left the yellow crystal room.

Klein locked the door, returned to the table, and based on the year, month, day, and time point, drew the event horoscope, including constellations, planets, and house positions (the division of sky positions).

During this process, he hardly referred to the "astrology manual", completing everything purely by memory.

—During this period of mysterious studies, Klein discovered that as long as it was related to divination, once he learned it, he could easily master it and quickly become an instinct.

Perhaps this is what a "diviner" is... After drawing the horoscope, he felt a sense of satisfaction, as if his body, mind, and soul had relaxed a lot.

Looking at the result, he roughly judged what Joyce Meyer would encounter based on the constellations, the house positions where the planets fell, and other auxiliary symbols. Hardship, but eventually one can get through it.

At this point, the divination is actually complete. However, Klein was quite attached to the first "deal", hoping to build a good reputation for future performances, so he picked up the pen again and wrote a line in Greek on the paper that Anna had written:

"Joyce Meyer's current situation."

He muttered this sentence, remembering the birth date and other information on the paper, repeating it over and over.

After seven times, Klein grasped the paper and leaned back against the chair back.

Images formed in his mind of a ball of light, his eyes turning dark, and he quickly entered a meditative state.

The surroundings suddenly became ethereal, as if there were intangible things and illusory gray fog extending endlessly upwards.

Klein recalled all the content on the paper again, then let himself go, falling into a deep sleep in this state.

What he was using was the "Dream Divination Method"!

Repeat the questions, remember them well, and then let his astral body roam the spirit world in the dream to gain enlightenment!

For ordinary people, there are occasional similar experiences, except that the "symbols" in the dreams are complex and blurry, and difficult to remember. "Diviners" do not have this problem, as they can directly see some images.

Everything began to blur, and Klein was half awake and half confused.

In the distorted and illusory world, he saw a young man with a hooked nose and blond hair, who was frantically swimming in a sea of blood, several times nearly swallowed up, but eventually luckily reached the shore.

The picture broke and shifted, and Klein saw a gray-blue house with a toy windmill at the door. The young man with the hooked nose was slowly entering it, with a joyful expression.

Just then, the picture changed again, and Klein found himself in a magnificent palace.

The walls were collapsing, in a dilapidated state, and in some places even covered with moss and weeds. Through the broken holes around, he could see the mountains outside and the almost touching white clouds here.

At the top of the palace, there was a huge stone seat carved with dark gems and gold, seemingly not for humans.

The seat above was empty and had many patches, as if it had undergone a long period of baptism.

Klein looked around doubtfully, not understanding why he would dream of such a scene.

His confusion began to decrease, and subconsciously walked towards the palace outside, wanting to confirm where he was.

Suddenly, he felt a gaze, a gaze from behind!

Klein turned sharply, looking at the huge stone seat, seeing that there seemed to be countless transparent worms huddled together, slowly moving and growing freely.

Scream!

He opened his eyes all of a sudden, waking up from the dream.

The crystal ball, tarot cards, and the paper with the star chart appeared in his eyes, reality quickly defeating the illusion.

"The beginning of the dream is the result of the divination, what's the rest? It seems to be aimed at me?" Klein put down the paper, rubbed his temples, and frowned, thinking.

What he could confirm was that this was not the fear hidden in his heart expressed through the dream, because he was doing the divination himself.

"A non-human palace on a mountain... Silent gaze from it... Twisted and strange worm imagery... " Klein recalled what he had said before, guessing silently, "Is it the 'Reversal Ritual' communicator, or the Antigonus Family Notes brought... Right, the notebook mentioned the Night Kingdom of Horancius Mountains! The palace in the dream was on the mountain peak!" He made a brief interpretation, feeling fortunate for having chosen "Diviner", according to Old Neil's statement, "Secret Seekers" can also do "Dream Divination", but it is definitely not as good as himself.

Sigh, the evil spirit won't leave... Only hope to catch Rael. Bieber as soon as possible... Klein controlled his emotions, took the paper with the star chart, and walked slowly towards the door. He opened the door and entered the reception hall. He saw Anna gazing out of the window, completely ignoring the cup of black tea in front of her.

"Ah, Mr. Moretti, have you divined the outcome?" His gaze swept over to Klein, and Anna hastily stood up.

Klein didn't answer directly. Instead, he asked based on the revelation scene from the dream:

"Is there a toy windmill at your house or at Mr. Meyer's doorstep?"

Anna's eyes suddenly widened, and she remained speechless for a long time.

After a while, she murmured:

"That was a gift he gave me, right at my doorstep. How did you know that...?"

Could this be divination?

Klein smiled and spoke gently:

"Congratulations, Miss Anna. Joyce Meyer is visiting your house. If you go back immediately, you might still encounter him. He has gone through a disaster, an unimaginable painful journey. What he needs is not questioning, but comfort, and a warm embrace."

"Really, really?"

Anna asked incredulously.

The divinationists she knew never said such definite words and gave such definite conclusions.

"You'll know right away if you go home now," Klein said with a gentle smile.

"Oh, Lord of Steam, is this true? Has my poor Joyce returned? Are you sure? No, I can't believe it..."

Anna was stunned for a moment and almost incoherently said.

She took out a 1-sulzer note from her bag, before Klein could ask for change, and left the divination club in a quick, almost running pace, hurriedly taking a carriage to return home.

"Does this include a tip?" Klein held the note, shaking his head and laughing bitterly. ...

The two-horse carriage sped smoothly along the street and entered the eastern district.

Anna looked out of the window, watching the rapidly passing streets with a mixture of anxiety, anticipation and fear. Not long after, the toy windmill came into her view.

After getting out of the carriage, she didn't pay attention to her own posture. She almost stumbled and rushed to the door, ringing the doorbell.

The door creaked open, and Anna saw a young man with blonde hair in a black suit. His face was haggard, his eyes were joyful, and he had an eagle-beaked nose.

"I thought I would miss you today," Joyce said with a smile. "... "Steam! You're really back!" Anna rubbed her eyes and shouted in surprise and joy.

The fortune teller was telling the truth!

No, that was a real fortune teller!

It's simply amazing!

Thoughts were surging and boiling. Anna held back her tears and rushed towards him, giving her fiancé a warm hug.

Outside the grey-blue house, the two embraced quietly. The toy windmill turned slowly, and all the hardships seemed to have gone away.
