When Thaddeus received the message, a chill ran through him. He stood from the group quietly and excused himself, brushing off the curious glances with a polite nod. His steps were steady, but something in his chest twisted as he walked down the hallway to the restroom.
He pushed the door open gently.
There, slumped against the sink, was Kayden.
His cheeks were flushed, his hair slightly messy, and the dazed look in his eyes told Thaddeus everything he needed to know. He was drunk and barely holding himself together.
"Kayden," Thaddeus called softly.
Kayden lifted his head slowly at the sound of his voice. The moment their eyes met, something in him broke. Without hesitation, he stumbled forward and wrapped his arms around Thaddeus, burying his face in his chest like a child seeking comfort.
Thaddeus held him, stunned by the suddenness of it all. Kayden clung tighter, the tremble in his hands betraying more than just intoxication.
"I feel weird," Kayden mumbled, his voice muffled against Thaddeus's shirt. "I don't know what's wrong with me. I just… I feel everything at once."
Thaddeus ran a calming hand over his back. "You're drunk. Let's get you out of here."
But Kayden didn't let go. Instead, he whispered, barely audible, "I'm horny.
What?
You heard me,Kayden breathed, pressing his body closer to Thaddeus's. His voice trembled, not from fear, but from raw, burning want. "I need you now."
Thaddeus's throat tightened. You can't be needing me right...
Before he could finish, Kayden leaned in and kissed him desperate, soft, full of ache. Yet Thaddeus pulled back, breaking the contact.
Kayden blinked, his gaze shifting as his tone changed. "Why?"
Thaddeus swallowed hard. "Your parents are here."
Kayden's lips parted, a fragile smile ghosting over them. That's not the only reason... They're not in this restroom. So why are you rejecting me?
Thaddeus didn't know what to say. His heart want him too, but his mind stalled, lost in the chaos of the moment.
"I'm sorry," he finally said. "Let me get you home."
Kayden's breath hitched. Then, quieter, more broken. What else do I need to do? Just tell me the truth. Don't you like me at all?
Thaddeus looked down.
Silence.
Kayden stared at him for a moment longer. His voice dropped to a whisper. You don't have to say anything. Today already said a lot.
He turned away.
Thaddeus's hand twitched, wanting to stop him but he didn't move.
Back at the party, Kayden returned to his friends. He told them the party was over, thanked them for coming, and began helping wrap things up.
He made his way to his mother, quietly sitting beside her. He looked at her with soft, knowing eyes.
"I love you," Kayden said, almost as if seeking shelter in her warmth.
His mom smiled and tucked his hair behind his ear. I love you too, baby. Is everything alright?
Kayden forced a smile. I'm fine, Mom. Just… glad I'm grown now.
She tilted her head, concern softening her eyes. "You look sad. Talk to me."
"I'm okay," he whispered and leaned his head against her shoulder.
Meanwhile, Ryland and Thaddeus stood together at the edge of the party, sipping the last of the champagne.
"So," Ryland nudged him. Kayden has a girlfriend yet?
Thaddeus gave him a look. Why? Are you trying to be a grandpa already?
Ryland laughed. At his age, I'd already had him. It's not too early. It's just youthful things, you know.
Thaddeus shrugged. He's focused on his studies. I don't think he has one. Or maybe he does and just hasn't introduced them yet.
Ryland grinned, tapping his glass against Thaddeus's. He's your problem now. You better keep him close.
As the night ended, everyone said their goodbyes. Kayden's parents hugged him tightly, reminding him about their early morning flight. Kayden held them longer than usual, especially his mom, before watching them drive off.
Back to the night.
The driver had already gone. Thaddeus was behind the wheel, parked in a dark, secure space away from the main building. His car windows were tinted, their privacy completely protected.
Kayden opened the door quietly, sliding into the backseat without a word. But Thaddeus turned slightly. The driver left. I'll be driving.
Kayden paused, then shifted to the front passenger seat. Still silent.
Thaddeus glanced at him, careful, almost nervous. "Are you mad at me?"
"No," Kayden replied, still not meeting his gaze.
There was a pause.
Looked at the back seat, Thaddeus said suddenly. I don't know if those gifts are enough, but... I bought them all without knowing which one you'd like. I couldn't bring everything to the party. It felt too loud. I wasn't embarrassed... I'm just not confident.
Kayden turned toward him slowly.
Thaddeus smiled faintly. "I'm sorry for not giving them to you earlier."
Kayden reached back and peered over the seat. His eyes widened. Designer shoes. High-end clothes. A new smartwatch. Premium headphones. A luxury fragrance. There are so many boxes.
He turned to Thaddeus again, his face softening. "It looks like you bought the whole store."
He opened the door, stepped out, and opened the back seat properly kneeling, making a moment to touch everything without unwrapping them. His mood shifted, lit up with quiet joy.
Then he came back in, sat beside Thaddeus, and leaned in to hug him tightly.
"Thank you, Daddy."
Thaddeus smiled, stroking his back. I saw how disappointed your face looked when I didn't give you anything at the party. I'm sorry, okay?
Kayden nodded.
And I'm sorry for not...
before he could finish, he tilted his head and kissed Thaddeus on the lips.
It was soft. Gentle.
When Thaddeus instinctively pulled back, Kayden immediately whispered, "I'm sorry."
Thaddeus exhaled and touched his cheek. You don't have to apologize. I only pulled away to ask... are you sure? Is this what you want?
Kayden didn't answer with words. He climbed across the console and straddled him slow, deliberate and kissed him again, deeper this time.
Thaddeus's breath caught.
Kayden unbuttoned his shirt, exposing his smooth chest and soft skin. Thaddeus's hands moved up his waist, trembling slightly. As his lips moved down, he found Kayden's nipple and gently took it into his mouth, sucking tenderly.
Kayden gasped, fingers threading into his hair, back arching as warmth flooded his body.
Their breathing grew heavier, the air between them thick with heat. Thaddeus's kisses traced down his torso, hands caressing every inch as if trying to memorize him.
Kayden whispered, clutching his shoulders. "Touch me more... please."
And Thaddeus obeyed, slowly, with reverence.
Kayden's hands trembled slightly as he reached for the button of his trousers, eyes locked on Thaddeus with hunger that could no longer be hidden. He stepped closer, fumbling with the fabric as his other hand found its way to Thaddeus's shirt, fingers tugging impatiently.
"Kayden, wait," Thaddeus grabbed his wrist gently, his voice low and urgent. Can we just… get home first?
But Kayden shook his head, his breath already ragged. "No. I can't wait anymore."
His voice trembled, filled with need. He pressed Thaddeus back until his back met the wall outside the quiet corridor. His urgency overruled hesitation. With a determined breath, Kayden found the right angle, guiding them both into the moment they had both craved for far too long.
He gasped as Thaddeus slowly eased inside, both their bodies shuddering at the contact.
Every thrust was slow at first, deep and controlled, but the heat building between them refused to remain gentle for long. Kayden moved with rhythm, riding him in a steady, desperate pace, the sounds of skin meeting skin muffled by his soft moans and Thaddeus's breathless grunts.
Thaddeus reached up, brushing his fingers along Kayden's trembling chest before his hand slipped down. He found Kayden's hardened length and wrapped his fingers around it, stroking it in rhythm with their movements. First slow, agonizingly slow, then deeper, firmer, faster.
Kayden threw his head back, panting as pleasure rushed through him. He gripped Thaddeus's shoulders tightly, his release hitting him hard, hot streams spilling across his own chest, his body shivering from the intensity of it.
Thaddeus wasn't far behind. With a deep groan, he surged one last time inside Kayden and spilled into him, his arms locking around Kayden's waist.
Kayden clung to him, burying his face in the crook of Thaddeus's neck. Their breathing came in harsh, uneven waves as they held each other, not saying a word, just listening to the wild rhythm of their hearts.
"Don't move yet," Kayden whispered, his voice hoarse. He hugged him tighter, not wanting the moment to end just yet.
Thaddeus let him stay there, their bodies still tangled, the warmth between them calming.
After some time, Kayden slowly pulled back. Without a word, he reached for the small pack of tissues. Gently, he wiped Thaddeus down first, then himself, careful and quiet as if trying not to break whatever invisible bond had just tensed between them.
Once they were clean, he leaned in, pressing a soft kiss on Thaddeus's cheek before whispering, "Let's go home."
