Chapter 2 - Chapter 2

Fiander fixed his gaze on the area Reinhard was observing, enveloped by an expanse of white sand, with pale tree trunks rising from the ground, devoid of any other hues.

"This—this is the resting site? " Fiander struggled to come to terms with his new existence, still clinging to his previous identity, forgetting that he was merely a hollow now. While Menos Grande possess certain memories, other hollows generally do not recall their humanity.

Clearly, creating a home that aligns with conventional aesthetics proves challenging for them.

"My lord, I have been cultivating my powers in this place for centuries. "

Noticing Fiander's unusual reaction, Reinhard, uncertain of his misstep, replied carefully.

"No—you're in the right. It's not your fault. " Fiander shielded his face, exhaling heavily before adding, "The fault lies with the world, not you."

At that moment, Fiander longed for the better days of the past, deciding it was best to acclimate to the Hueco Mundo.

Silently reassuring himself, Fiander stepped into the cave and took a moment to survey his surroundings. The simplicity of the living conditions was indescribable.

"Hmm—Reinhard—" Fiander's voice trailed as he turned to the beast-like Menos Grande behind him with a curious look, questioning, "Do you usually have no food stored? What do you consume? "

"My lord, when your subordinate is hungry, he ventures out for sustenance, operating alone and selectively hunting other Adjuchas," Reinhard explained, admiringly glancing at Fiander. "It appears that you have ascended to the peak of Menos Grande, no longer requiring low-level hollows for sustenance. "

"Oh—really! " Fiander replied in a subdued tone, his mind drifting back to countless years past when he watched Bleach.

At that moment, he recalled witnessing the onset of the Millennium Blood War arc, initially entering a mystical realm called Fallows.

After spending over 70 years in that world, nearing its unification, unforeseen events transpired, possibly divine intervention that led him to the Bleach world.

Having once been just a high school student, he lamented how, after years in that realm, his sharp edges had dulled. He now yearned for an opportunity to escape this perilous setting.

First and foremost, it was crucial to ascertain the current progression of the plot and whether Aizen had arrived in Hueco Mundo.

Mastering the timeline was essential for taking control of his situation. Unlike ordinary hollows, he was not of this world.

The true spiritual strength he possesses is on par with any shinigami. Currently, he can only gradually mend his soul to regain his own power, unaware of the differences in strength that exist between the two realms.

Ultimately, the criteria for evaluating combat power varies by world. He has a faint recollection that the benchmark in this dimension is captain-level Reiatsu, and he has yet to discover how to cultivate Reiatsu, which he perceives as rather vague.

It's quite straightforward; if the old man leading the first squad chooses to eliminate the other so-called captains, he can easily do so, recalling the numerous peculiar powers and rules from the story.

Fiander believes that his previous realm was considerably safer; at least many aspects there could be rationally explained, contrasting sharply with the circumstances he faces here.

Fiander organized his thoughts. As his current form is a hollow, according to this world's narrative, the shinigami protagonists along with the Quincy factions, which are equally formidable, are all in opposition to one another.

Given this scenario, the wisest approach is to remain hidden and refrain from revealing oneself while gradually progressing. With this idea in mind, Fiander smirked subtly and released an eerie "Jie Jie Jie Jie" laugh.

"This Vasto Lorde is frightening! " Witnessing Fiander's alternating expressions of glee and menace, Reinhard, positioned behind him, felt pressured, pondering what kind of master he had pledged himself to.

However, had he not capitulated at that moment, he would have met his end. The memory of being gripped by the other party and scrutinized with a blank stare sends shivers down his spine even now!

Haunted by unpleasant recollections, Reinhardt quaked and said to Fiander, "My lord, if you require sustenance, I will procure something for you straight away. "

"Eating? ! " Reinhard's remarks jolted Fiander back to the present.

Indeed, I am currently a Menos Grande, and I have nutritional needs. Although I initially watched Bleach, I have little knowledge concerning the survival practices of this species.

According to Reinhard, he stands at the pinnacle of Menos Grande and does not need specialized food intake, as those below Vasto Lorde serve as sustenance whenever he desires.

Yet the image of those spectral beasts devouring corpses sends a shiver through Fiander, although his body can continuously absorb the spiritual particles present in the atmosphere.

These spiritual particles possess the remarkable ability to not only heal wounds but seemingly also to gradually restore his fragmented soul.

What an enchanting realm this is—upon reflecting on this, Fiander promptly declined Reinhard's offer.

"No need! "

"Understood—" Observing the abrupt shift in Fiander's demeanor, Reinhard feared he had erred yet again and immediately lowered his gaze in response.

Thus, Fiander Moros, the newly ascended Vasto Lorde of Hueco Mundo, successfully concluded his first day in the Bleach universe!

…Soul society 1780. . . .

In the passage of the Great Spirit Book, a Shinigami clad in a dark death suit, adorned with an armband inscribed with the word "five," gazes at the book's contents in astonishment, his face displaying an indescribable zeal.

"What an incredible discovery! ! "

Clearly, the material within the book was the confirmation he had long anticipated. As he raised his fingers to delicately adjust his glasses, a smile crept onto his lips.

"It seems my hypothesis is correct! " As the night ascended, Aizen exited the corridor of the Great Spirit Book, appearing oblivious to his surroundings, and ventured into a tranquil forest alone.

Throughout the journey, he mentally reiterated his theories. If realized, this would finally bring him closer to his objective. With this thought, a rare smile formed at the edge of Aizen's mouth.
