Too normal in fact. Usually I'd spend my time playing video games or watching anime after school. But I some how managed to hangout with the popular kids. They were nice to me as well. Not that anyone ever despised me. The only one who ever despised me was me…..
"Let's go to the café" suggested one of them with a smile. Hmm, now that I think about it he is the charm boy in our class.
Fast forward to, in front of the café, while crossing the road I see two headlights heading towards me. I don't move a muscle, its like that night so much like that night.
Well, isekai'd is the first thought in my mind when I open my eyes. I seem to be in a wood-built small house. It is nothing close to fancy like you would think. In a corner sits an almost broken table and chair. Atop them is a pot and a glass of water. After taking in my surrounding-which doesn't take much time, there's almost nothing-I realize I must be very poor. The bed I'm sitting on is not very good as well and there's a bag beside the pillow. The next thing I realize is not pretty, much like the place itself, I am no more than 5 feet. "What the hell?" is the first thing I say out loud. Was I reincarnated as a shortie or am I just not so old?
I was so lost in thought I almost don't realize the door creaking open. It was sunny outside. Noon maybe? An old, bulky man walks in. His face is red, he looks drunk.
"Where is the rent, brat?" said the old man
What I say is next is kinda stupid. "I need to pay rent for this place" my face also cringes in disgust.
That earns me a punch to the face.
