Chapter 3 - Chapter 3: I'm Going to Go Away

The wind howled and torrential rain drifted in from the broken floor-to-ceiling windows.

Sarah Young stood up with difficulty and looked at Jason Young, who was wrapped in silver exoskeleton armor, but her eyes were shaken by the one-meter-long incandescent light sword suddenly unfurled in his hand.

"You are....."

Her face was filled with disbelief.

"Ho!" Brian Stone's roar from his throat resounded throughout the room.

He completely liberated his ability to modify his left-hand prosthesis because the silver armor and lightsaber in front of him made him feel very uneasy.

Jason Young's wrist flipped, and his lightsaber was swung by him to draw a full moon-like arc.

The air around the arc of light was magically distorted, as if an invisible force was pulling the space.

At the same time, their bodies flashed towards each other, and the harsh sound of sharp edges cutting metal exploded in Sarah Young's ears.

A bionic robotic arm was chopped in mid-air, dragging a cloud of sparking colored wires at the break.

With a "boom," the broken arm fell dully on the floor.

Jason Young and Brian Stone turned their backs on each other, and the latter's proud left hand was gone.

"S-class martial arts chip Eclipse sword?" Brian Stone pulled the corner of his mouth, "It's really beautiful... Another dangerous arc."

Sarah Young did not see clearly the confrontation between the electric lights and flint just now, but Brian Stone, as the loser, knew very well that it was Jason Young who danced a perfect arc with the lightsaber in his hand and crushed his killing fist.

"The Eclipse Sword was downgraded to an A-level martial arts chip two years ago. After all, it is a first-generation product, and your intelligence is far behind," Jason Young said, turning around and tapping the arm armor of his left arm with the hilt of his sword. The card slot hidden under the arm armor opened, and a charred hexagonal chip popped out.

Although the Eclipse Sword is now only an A-level martial arts chip, considering its powerful performance in integrated offense and defense, the Security Bureau's Equipment Department usually only issues one-time chips to the commissioner.

Brian Stone also turned around and faced Jason Young again, seeming to have completely given up resisting.

Jason Young turned off the lightsaber mode, turning the weapon in his hand back into a basic baton.

"Don't you kill me?"

"Sentencing and conviction are the responsibilities of the trial court, I..."

Jason Young originally wanted to say that he was only responsible for capturing criminals, but he suddenly remembered that he was not from the Security Bureau at all.

The reason he was able to borrow the intern's armed belt to apply for exoskeleton armor, weapons, and martial arts chip permissions may be because Andrew Stone did not remove his personal information from the Security Bureau's archives.

"Our faith will not perish," Brian Stone said with righteous conviction as if prophesying, "The order under the Iron Dome will surely collapse, and returning to Earth is the final destination for everyone."

"I don't believe it."

People with normal brains won't believe what these cult lunatics say.

"D-class martial arts stun baton activated," an electronically synthesized tone cued from inside the armored helmet.

He swung the baton with a strong current, and the point of the extended and longer baton landed right on Brian Stone's chest.

Brian Stone, who had lost an arm, suffered a convulsion and fell to the ground with his eyes rolled back.

"Commissioner A0717 reports that the mission is over and the target has been subdued."

"Thank you, Commissioner A0717, Team D has gone to your location to support."

The sound of propellers was heard in the storm outside the window, and a blue-and-white painted helicopter belonging to the Security Service was approaching.

Jason Young took out the restraint belt and secured Brian Stone, who was unconscious, and then walked towards Sarah Young, who was standing not far away staring at him.

"Your companion will be here soon, and I have to slip away."

Jason Young had applied for equipment recovery, and all the exoskeleton armor and weapons on his body had been broken down into photons and transported back to the Security Agency equipment library.

He took off his armed belt and handed it back to Sarah Young, preempting her before she spoke: "Losing your equipment during the internship period will affect your final assessment, so forget what happened tonight."

"You... Are you a senior who came to other revived cities for reinforcements?" Sarah Young asked with a red face.

"What if so?"

"No, very sorry! Caught you off the bridge! I... I didn't know you had a mission..."

Jason Young laughed, leaned over and picked up the stun gun, and approached her again without warning.

"Uhhhhh."

Numb, completely numb.

Sarah Young fell to the ground softly again, with an expression of disbelief and confusion.

"I'm not from the Security Service, see the words on my clothes? Lightning Husky Express," Jason Young pointed his thumb at his yellow vest.

"If I were really one of yours, would I still have to ask you to borrow a belt?"

He openly described his previous assault on the police as an understatement.

"That... you... we..."

"Think more about yourself when you encounter a problem, and don't always think about others giving answers."

After another lecture, Jason Young felt very refreshed. Before leaving, he waved to her mischievously: "Bye to the intern."

Stepping out of the room, on his way to the elevator, he brushed past a team of security commissioners rushing over in a hurry.

All members of this team wore blue uniforms and were official commissioners.

If the intern could successfully become a regular, her uniform would change from white to the same blue as these people.

The commissioners of the Security Service are divided into four levels, which can be easily distinguished from the colors of uniforms and armor.

White is the trainee newcomer, blue is the official commissioner for less than two years, silver is the senior commissioner for more than two years, and black is the elite of the Security Service headquarters.

But Jason Young did not expect that he would be judged as a high-level commissioner by the Security Bureau system. He was stunned for a moment when the silver armor was wrapped around him.

No wonder the intern mistakenly thought he was a senior...

After getting into his car, Jason Young glanced at the Security Bureau helicopter parked in the central open space of Garden Court, then started the engine and drove out of the community gate, piercing into the dark rain curtain.

...

One forty in the morning.

The soaked Jason Young returned home with the lights in his living room still on.

"Sam, did you change the plan three times in the middle of the night? Is your boss a vampire?"

He bickered and placed his damp shoes on the uppermost floor of the shoe cabinet at the door.

"Let me tell you something very interesting happened to me tonight..."

The old jacket was casually left on the ground, and Jason Young took off his clothes as he entered the house.

After taking off half of his T-shirt and covering his head, he vaguely felt something was wrong. According to reports, at this time, Samuel Shaw should complain that he was too noisy and affected his work ideas.

Today is also the silence of Theterna...

"Didn't he die suddenly? Sam?" Can you help dad take off the towel?

The cracked sofa at their house creaked, and it seemed as if someone had stood up.

Jason Young finally took off his wet T-shirt and a towel shook open in front of him.

The tall beauty in the corner of the towel stood in front of him in the elite black uniform of the Security Service.

Jason Young was stunned. He subconsciously folded his arms and hugged his bare upper body, stammering: "An... An... Anya... Why are you here?"

This elite member of the Security Bureau, named Anya Stone, was two years his senior, the only daughter of Andrew Stone, and his elder sister in terms of justice.

He forgot about Samuel Shaw calling him on the cross-sea bridge!

"What particularly interesting thing did you encounter tonight?" Anya's eyebrows arched with curiosity, "Say it in detail."
