Chapter 92 - CHAPTER 9: STAR IN TOKYO

Sahiru stood at the center of the Tokyo Corps' courtyard, his crimson haori fluttering gently in the morning breeze. Slayers—veterans and new recruits alike—circled around him in reverent silence. His violet eyes, calm and steady, scanned the eager faces.

He drew his blade slowly, the black-and-gold Nichirin steel gleaming under the light.

"Begin," he said, voice soft but unshakable.

What followed was a blur of grace and power—his strikes painting the air with vivid arcs of light. His technique had evolved far beyond what even the oldest slayers had seen. Each movement was deliberate. Each breath, refined. Each form—impeccable.

"Wisteria Blizzard."

The air filled with swirling slashes, petals of energy floating before vanishing like illusions. Awe rippled through the audience.

By now, Sahiru's legend had grown.

He wasn't just the strongest in the Tokyo Corps—he was its heart.

Later that evening, in the headquarters' main chamber, Kenta sat cross-legged near a small candle-lit altar, a letter held delicately in his wrinkled hands.

It bore the seal of the Ubuyashiki family.

As he opened it, a gentle fragrance of wisteria wafted out.

To Head Kenta of the Tokyo Corps,

May the moon always guide your warriors and the sun bless your blades.

Word of a young swordsman named Sahiru has reached even our estate. His growth, his heart, his technique—it echoes through our slayers like a wind of promise.

Though we are separated in structure and land, know that our cause remains one. I look forward to the day our paths converge. Until then, please give Sahiru my personal regards. He walks a path not unlike a great warrior from long ago.

— Kagaya Ubuyashiki

Head of the Demon Slayer Corps

Kenta folded the letter with quiet pride, eyes misted with emotion.

"He sees it too…" he murmured. "This boy… he's meant for something far beyond Tokyo."

Outside, Sahiru trained under the starlight. His blade shimmered with every motion—each step another note in the silent symphony he played.

Suzune stood nearby, arms folded, watching him with a smile.

"Legend, huh?" she whispered.

To her, he was still the boy who once refused to smile… and yet lit the world brighter than anyone else.
