Chapter 89 - CHAPTER 6: MYSTIC BREATHING

Under the glowing sun and rustling leaves of their river haven, Sahiru and Suzune became inseparable—sparring partners, comrades, and the unmatched swords of the Tokyo Corps. Though the organization lacked the glory and strength of the main Demon Slayer Corps, within its humble grounds, the two rose like twin flames.

Sahiru had grown sharper, swifter, more in control. Through countless days of silent, relentless training, he mastered six forms of the powerful technique he had once birthed through pain and awakening.

Facade Breathing – Known Forms:

Wisteria Blizzard – A wide-arc flurry of petal-like slashes that confuse and corner the enemy.

Silver Hound Slash – A high-speed, precision dash strike that mimics the sudden snap of a hunting wolf.

Earth Breaker – A downward cleave capable of fracturing even stone, focused entirely on overwhelming force.

Red Spider Lily Dance – A graceful, twisting flurry of curved strikes; evasive and unpredictable.

Riptide – A spiraling mid-air slash that uses momentum to enhance cutting speed.

White Tiger Fang – Twin diagonal slashes from opposing angles, representing deception and ferocity.

He had discovered five more techniques within himself—forms born from the quiet voice that whispered within, the inner self that still stirred—but he had not yet perfected them. They would come, but not yet.

Meanwhile, Suzune had not been idle.

Her breathing—Mystic Breathing—had taken shape with distinct color and tone, matching her flair and gentle strength. Her movements were elegant, and each form reflected a story, an emotion, a flash of something deeply human.

Though not all her forms were fully revealed yet, three had already dazzled the corps:

Mystic Bloom – A burst of speed with slashes blooming outward like a flower opening to sunlight.

Flicker Step Waltz – A rhythmic, evasive footwork-based form that created afterimages to confuse opponents.

Petal Veil – A defensive flourish that masked movement and redirected incoming attacks with artistic grace.

The other slayers—once skeptical—now watched the two with reverence. Some even began training under them. For the first time, the Tokyo branch felt alive.

And as Sahiru watched Suzune practice under the golden sky, her blade tracing trails of crimson and pink, he understood something…

They were no longer alone in their path.
