Deep within the shadows of an abandoned mountain temple, Kokushibo knelt before his master—Muzan Kibutsuji.
Candles flickered as if threatened by the aura of the demon king. Muzan's crimson eyes gleamed with sadistic pleasure.
"So… the Sun has finally set."
Kokushibo remained silent, head bowed.
"With Yoriichi dead, nothing stands in our way," Muzan declared. "Now begins the era of domination. I will forge my Twelve Kizuki, the strongest demons to ever exist."
He turned to Kokushibo.
"You will be my blade in the dark. My first Crescent Moon. Guide them."
Kokushibo nodded without a word.
