Chapter 1 - Chapter 1: The Demoness (Part 1)

A Demoness appeared in the middle of a magical circle drawn in blood. With furious blood-red eyes, she glared at her surroundings. The batwings on her back unfurled as she crouched into a low pouncing position. Her prehensile tail swayed with anticipation, and her fierce, majestic horns glimmered in the candlelight. Her skin was the colour of charcoal and as smooth as obsidian. The air thickened as the smell of brimstone filled the room. It was heavy, choking, as though reality itself recoiled at her presence.

In front of her was a pale-faced Witch with raven-black hair, dressed in an expensive, caped greatcoat and a large cone-shaped, wide-brimmed hat. Her fearful amethyst eyes regarded the demon. Her name was Jenny Nyxandra Malvera Nachtdorn.

In the Ecclesiastical Domain of Hochwalden, every child was given four names at birth: a first name chosen by their parents, two middle names whispered by priests during baptismal rites, and a surname marking their lineage. It was said these names held fragments of a person's soul, and speaking all four aloud could unravel even the strongest defences. For Jenny, keeping her middle names hidden had become second nature. Only her mother, Seraphina, had ever known them, and she took that secret to her grave.

Jenny was hoping to summon a lesser demon she could make into her familiar. Unfortunately, something seemed to have gone a little awry. Then, instead of summoning a lesser demon as she had intended, she had summoned a somewhat more powerful demon.

Ok, so she might have messed up a little, but at least the demon was within her summoning circle. She clutched the grimoire tighter, reminding herself no demon had ever escaped a properly drawn summoning circle… probably. Now she just needed to find a way to cast the demon back to hell before it could do anything dangerous to her, or others, but mostly to her. Jenny quickly paged through her Grimoire looking for something on banishing demons.

The demon, meanwhile, regarded the panicking witch with amusement. The thought of making this witch fall prey to her influence delighted her. Dravisha was a demon of domination. To dominate everything was her nature, and right now she wanted nothing more than to make this witch her slave. She gave the witch her best devilish smile before saying, "Greetings, mortal. You have called for me."

Jenny ignored the demon. Instead, she flicked through the pages at a feverish pace. She was sure she could find the section on banishing demons somewhere soon.

Dravisha was growing increasingly annoyed and impatient at her summoner's silence. She stepped towards the edge of the circle only to hit an invisible wall. "You think this puny circle can contain me?" She pounded at the circle with fury. "Not bad for a novice. But don't think for a minute this can contain all of my power." Shadows in the room started to snake into tendrils. They pulled the Witch right into the circle before she could even so much as yelp in surprise. The demoness regarded her and extended a sharp claw to her throat, "Release me, witch."

Jenny looked defiant. She was, of course, scared out of her mind. But she had to act like she was defiant. Showing weakness to a demon was never a good idea. With her heart pounding out of control, she managed to say, "You can kill me, but you'll still be trapped in this circle."

The demoness roared in laughter. She loved that look of defiance. The more defiant they are, the sweeter it is when they break, she thought. She glided her claws over Jenny's smooth, milky-white skin, "This circle can't contain me forever. I'll break free eventually."

"Even if you manage to break free from this circle. This Mansion is guarded by several layers of wards. You'll never make it out, and once the Coven learns of you, they'll banish you back to hell."

"You don't want to die, Witch. I can smell your fear." The Demoness' claw traced down Jenny's greatcoat, digging the claw lightly into the Witch's gut. "Let's make a deal. You summoned me for a reason. Tell me what you desire."

Jenny trembled. She was at the mercy of this Demoness. At any moment, her life could be cut short, and all her ambitions would fall away. For her mother's sake, she managed to will herself to respond, "I-I wanted to summon a Familiar."

The Demoness smiled mischievously, flashing her curved-back canines, "A Familiar, you want me to be a Familiar?"

"No," Jenny interrupted. "I-I wanted… I thought you were a lesser demon."

The Demoness scowled, "Lesser demon, pah. I'm a baroness of hell."

"T-the Grimoire must have been mistaken. I'm sorry, my lady."

The Demoness grabbed Jenny's throat, "Your mistake can still be rectified. I can still be your Familiar, all I want in return is…"

"Part of my soul?" Jenny interrupted.

The Demoness squeezed Jenny's throat, "Don't interrupt me, witch." She lightened her grip, "As I was saying, all I require is your complete submission."

"Never!" There was absolutely no hesitation in Jenny's response. She'd rather die than be someone's slave.

Anger marred Dravisha's beautiful ash-grey face, "You are at my mercy, Witch. I can either grant you immense power for your submission, or I can kill you."

"I'd rather die."

Dravisha's claws ripped open Jenny's greatcoat and corset bodice, revealing her shapely mounds. The Demoness recoiled as she was exposed to a magical protection pendant on Jenny's neck. The pendant shimmered from the Amethyst embedded inside. Jenny dropped to the ground with a thud. She immediately covered her breasts with an arm and held up her pendant. The pendant was her mother's. A last gift she gave to Jenny before she was burned at the stake.

The demoness screamed with fury, swiping furiously at the pendant and Jenny. Jenny managed to dodge most of the strikes but was caught off guard by a left-handed backhand that knocked her against the wall. Jenny got up on wobbly legs, her head spinning. It took her a moment to orient herself. The Demoness tried again to catch her with shadowy tendrils, but Jenny managed to ward them off with the pendant.

"Alright, Witch, how about I'll be your Familiar in exchange for your passion," The Demoness smirked. "I'll feed on your lust to gain strength while you'll have a powerful servant by your side from then on."

Jenny knew full well she was a masochist. She would never deny that part of her. She had even gotten aroused when the Demoness had grabbed her and toyed with her. It was just that fear had overwritten arousal. That fear was still there, of course. Demons have all sorts of tricks. They tap into a person's greatest desires and manipulate them to their advantage. But if what the demon said was true, she could get so much power from just having sex with her. And the Demoness was not too bad looking. Scratch that the demoness was hot, in a literal sense too.
