Luo Yang had just finished reading Lord of the Mysteries when, driven by curiosity, he decided to try the pre-crossing "fortune-changing ritual" that Zhou Mingrui once attempted.

"Whether I transmigrate or not doesn’t matter — what matters is changing my luck!"

With that mindset, Luo Yang carefully prepared the ritual and began reciting the Fool’s honorific name:

Bad news: The fortune-changing ritual doesn't actually change your luck.
Worse news: The fortune-changing ritual can actually make you transmigrate.
