Synopsis
She told me not to save her. That we both already knew how it would end. With both of us dead. She told me to live... for the both of us. But I couldn’t. Because if I couldn’t protect the people I loved, then what was I for? When the Mark fractured in her eye, when the Reverie took her, I followed. I told myself it was love. But maybe it was fear. Because what do you become when the one who made you whole walks into a place that tears you apart? They say the Reverie reveals your truth. I’m starting to realize mine was a lie. Now I’m lost in a city of mirrors, chasing ghosts, haunted by the girl who didn’t want to be saved. If this is a story about power, then I don’t want it. I just want her. But some promises break you. And not every vow should be kept.
