Once upon a time, there lived a headless knight. The headless knight possessed no names and no self-identification capacity. The knight would venture around the world with a gleaming goal: in search of his head. The knight would fight demons and monsters along his way. He journeyed through the dense forest, the boiling desert, and the ice-cold land. Then he came to a stop at a night pub. A young and beautiful prince then met him. The prince asked why he was headless, and the knight replied that he had lost his head in a daring battle. The prince offered his help by giving the knight a pumpkin as a replacement for his head. The knight carved a face on the pumpkin, and it changed now and then. The knight then thanked the prince and gave up his quest for his true head.
The knight then asked himself who he was. He was headless, but now he had a pumpkin head. The knight then wondered what had happened in the war and who he was before that.
He then met with the Witch of Pacts. The Witch of Pacts told him that knowing himself from the past wouldn't give him peace. The knight still insisted and wanted to know who he truly was. The Witch decided to give him back his memory before the war. He remembered that he was a dangerous murderer of the war and had killed his family with his own hands. The knight was then haunted by guilt and shame. The Witch then told him that who he was before his head doesn't matter, and what he chooses to be now is what truly matters. The knight then decided to lead an honest and peaceful life.
