I am Amado Akira a normal Japanese University student, one moment I was enjoying karaoke with my friends and the next moment I was in a completely unfamiliar environment.
I was lying on soft grass it was green grass as far as I could see, From the clear blue sky and beautiful landscape as far as I could see, I was in a completely unfamiliar place.
But that wasn't the strangest thing, the strangest thing was how weird my body felt when I tried to get up it was as if everything were different. My place was entirely different from before.
And there was something heavy around my chest I looked down, and it seemed like my chest was swollen for some reason I lifted my arms to touch my chest, but then I noticed my arms were really thin and pale like a girl's hand.
I touched my chest, and then I noticed something my chest really seemed swollen, but then a odd feeling overtook me my arms traveled towards my crouch and touched it.
'My little brother is gone!?'
I screamed internally, I tried to pinch myself to wake up if I was in a dream, but it hurt like in real life, so this shouldn't be a dream.
"What the fuck is going on?"
I shouted to myself but the voice that came out of my mouth was also unfamiliar high-pitched like a ringing bell, I was in an unfamiliar place and in an unfamiliar body with nothing nearby.
I was so confused and overwhelmed that I didn't know what to do at all, but fortunately or unfortunately pain shot through my brain as unfamiliar memories flooded in it, they were memories of a girl named Ariana Silverman and she was an independent barrier mage.
There is nothing much I was currently 15 years old, and I was an orphan with magic talent and most surprising of it all was the world I was currently in.
It was fairy tail world, I was currently in Bosco kingdom if memories of Ariana are to be considered.
This girl left orphanage after finding about her magic talent and still send s half of the money she earns back to the orphanage, I felt really had that I somehow took possession of this hardworking girl.
But it wasn't like I did it on purpose, but human emotions are always irrational I felt terrible for what I did unknowingly I wondered whether her soul is still trapped inside this body somehow.
I need to find a way somehow to find this out but if I don't do this carefully it could be extremely dangerous, I decided to get up and get to the nearest city first.
From what I got to know from the memories she has just finished a quest and on the way back to the city to report it, after finishing she stopped in the meadow to rest a bit before continuing the journey before somehow taking possession of her body.
This meadow seems safe, but I didn't know what kind of dangers might lurk on the journey ahead, I need to see if Ariana magic still worked like it did previously.
I tried to remember how she did it, it seems there are two basic factors if you want to perform magic spells in this world incantations and second is passing magic through magic circles that are engraved in the soul of the caster.
From information, I got when a person awakens their magic powers their soul can somehow contain the spells from certain types of magic, and to select an appropriate spell one needs an incantation to bring that magic circle ahead.
If one can somehow materialize the magic circle which only very talented mages can do, the power of their spells increases my exponentially.
Soul has certain limit at how many magic circles can fit inside depending on the mage and type of magic it differs from mage to mage, that's the reason mages don't try to master different types of magics as that would be counterproductive as magic circles of different nature restrict one another in mage's soul weakening them.
But it was basic that every mage can sense their own soul somehow which was good if I have somehow taken possession of her body and her soil is still in there I can communicate with it and come to some sort of understanding.
I dwelled deeper in psych and was able to sense a soul by following the feeling from my memories but what I saw truly surprised me, I soul was different from the memories of Ariana there were some different components, but somehow they were completely fused with my soul.
This only meant one thing, I didn't want to believe it but what I saw was absolute truth, I was neither Amado Akira the university student and neither I am Ariana Silverman the barrier mage
I am being that came into being when these two souls fused completely on in practicality I was both of them but at the same time I was neither of them.
This situation gave me a little existential crisis, but I knew this was the best outcome I could ask for as I didn't take possession of someone else's body like I previously thought two souls just fused and that resulted in my soul being born.
So it isn't my fault that both Akira and Ariana stopped existing it was just how it was, though through their souls they're both alive inside me, inside my memories and I can't forget them as they are the basis of my existence.
With those thoughts going through my mind I ones again looked around in my soul and I found what I was looking for lattice of barrier magic and all magic spell circles neatly arranged inside one part of my soul, fusing with other soul and undoubtedly increased my capacity to store magic lattice that hold magic circle which was good.
This means I could get lot stronger than I was currently was, and this world was dangerous and to survive in this world either I need to be part of fairy tail or I needed to be really, really strong.
And I don't really have that option right now as I am in an entirely different country and if I left this country I can't truly fund an orphanage which I can't do they need the money I send them to survive.
While thinking about all such things, I was able to perform magic like Ariana did in her memories it was part of muscle and soul memory so it wasn't astounding with that I decided to move towards the city now!
