Chapter 1 - BEFORE THE WORLD BROKE

Chapter 1: The Beginning

"Once, the heavens sang with the harmony of gods. But power, pride, and love tore them apart…"

Chaos spread across the Divine Realm. All for what? To be powerful and control mortals as if they were mere slaves?

A priestess in white, serene and radiant, was stabbed while praying. At the same time, a God of War — a towering figure in ash-gold armor with calm eyes that held storms — screamed as his love of the life died in his arms.

This all happened as the immortal beings — later known as the Immortal Gods — are fighting for their own selfishness.

These gods had not chosen to become divine. They were born from the emotions and needs of humanity. War, Love, Protection, Justice, Wisdom, Chaos, Death, Dreams, Nature, Creation, Destruction, and Peace — each manifested as humans cried out for them. Their immense devotion gave these deities strength. Over time, the gods fulfilled mortal desires so deeply that they transcended death and time.

They eventually built a unified realm in the sky — The Celestas Court — and ruled in harmony.

But peace was fragile.

Some gods believed in guiding mortals, while others believed in controlling them.

The God of Chaos, a robed figure of shifting smoke with mismatched eyes and a mocking smile, laughed:

"Why protect what cannot even protect itself?"

The God of Creation, glowing softly in white and gold, replied in a firm voice:

"We were made from these mortals' feelings. We should be there for them when they need us."

The Goddess of Love, graceful and glowing, with flowers blooming at her feet, said gently:

"Um… we should not spread hate among us. Humans long for love — it will nurture them into good souls. Why should we control them?"

The God of Death, pale and cloaked in grey, replied coldly:

"What is the need to protect those who live for a moment and die? I see their selfish prayers every day. They want their enemies dead. What is the use of protecting such beings?"

The God of Protection, draped in glowing bronze and blue, shouted:

"How dare you speak like that about those who cannot even defend themselves! You should be ashamed!"

The God of Dreams, with twilight-colored robes and stardust in his hair, smirked:

"Hah… Chaos, Death, Destruction — aren't you just jealous? You were born from mortals' negative emotions. You should learn from the God of War. Even he, surrounded by blood and death, stays calm."

The Goddess of Wisdom, with glowing runes above her brow, added:

"This is pointless. Emotions are the root of our origin. Denying them weakens our purpose."

The gods who believed in protecting mortals — Love, Protection, Justice, Wisdom, Nature, Dreams, War, Creation, and Peace — stood together. The rest — Chaos, Death, and Destruction — slowly turned against them.

But the negative gods weren't always evil. They were shaped by darker desires, or tempted by mortals who worshipped power over peace. Still, they always felt inferior, created from what humans feared.

So they plotted. They knew they were fewer and weaker. So they began manipulating other gods, especially the stronger ones — Protection and War.

Then came a voice. A voice that echoed across the court like wind through crystal:

"Silence, everyone. We are not here to fight among ourselves. We are here to meet the priestess who will ease our path in fulfilling the wishes of mortals."

The Goddess of Peace had entered. She wasn't the most powerful, but as she stepped in — dressed in silver robes, her voice still and soothing — even Chaos fell silent. Her calm aura carried the weight of centuries.

She continued,

"Good morning. I see some… unrelated arguments, That is not why we've gathered today."

The immortals all quieted. Though not the strongest, she had been chosen by all gods to lead the The Celestas Court. As the goddess who sat between order and chaos, Peace had become the bridge of unity.

All eyes turned toward her as she raised a gentle hand and said:

"Let us meet the one Peace herself has chosen."

For in that moment, the court would be introduced to a mortal priestess.

One whose existence would change everything.
