Her mood immediately changed. She thought that some kind of strange game was being played around her, by either one of the men. But soon, she would be more shocked and surprised to understand the kind of twist that fate was unveiling for her.
Her eyes were fixed strongly at its socket for the first time. This was because she wanted to see clearly, and understand the manner of man that was standing just before her view. Within a blink of an eye, her consciousness became enlightened. It was now clear to her that Kenny was the guy standing in her front.
''Common, my dearest one. You are free to shake hands with him. He is a very good friend of mine, and I have been talking to him since I left here this morning, about you''Jonathan said, posing a very smiling and happy face.
''As for you Kenny, this is Sarah, my new woman''Jonathan added. He wished for them to at least shake hands with each other, and even smiled, exchanging pleasantries. But to Jonathan's greatest surprises, nothing as such, ever happened.
Jonathan stirred at Kenny, observing him. Kenny, who was also shocked after seeing Sarah once again, was filled with rage. He wanted to speak with Jonathan, by warning him about her. But then, he got a glimpse that Sarah would win him. Since she was having more advantage than him. He then took his sight away from her.
''You are lucky my friend. Your woman is great''Kenny said to Jonathan, who was now bending to sit down.
Kenny walked an arms length away from Sarah. He folded his hands around his waist, and started stirring and admiring the interior mansion's room of Jonathan. It was his first time entering this particular mansion, which has always been called a reservoir of goldmine, by Jonathan. Yes, they are both good friends. But Jonathan, who has so many mansions around him, rarely brings in people into this particular one. According to him, it's for a reason best known to him.
''Sit down. My pretty lady will get us something to drink and eat,''Jonathan informed him.
''Oh!. Don't bother. I won't be taking anything. Infact, I think it's time for me to start leaving''Kenny informed him.
Jonathan couldn't believe that his friend was the one saying this. The both of them before now, had planned to take lunch in his mansion and Kenny on the other hand, was excited upon hearing the news of Jonathan having a new woman in his life. He didn't actually come to celebrate with him, but to know who this person really is. Hoping to use her, to work against Jonathan. But currently, Kenny has seen that his plans might not come to fruition, as he has planned.
''I won't let you go anywhere, without having a taste of my woman's meal''Jonathan revealed.
''Let him go''They were shocked to hear Sarah speaking in such a manner. Jonathan's mind was worried. He just thought that it was a dream, and nothing more. He turned his face at Sarah, wondering why she would in the first place say a thing like that.
''Send this man away. He is not your friend. He is a traitor, and he must definitely stab you at the back. Infact, if you watch closely, you might be shocked that he has already stabbed you in the back''Sarah said to Jonathan. She pointed her face directly at Kenny, yelling.
''Excuse me!. Sarah, what the hell are you saying?. This is my friend whom you are busy shedding negative words at, and I won't...''
''Shut up!''Sarah said, interrupting Jonathan's words.
On the other hand, Kenny immediately excused himself out of the parlor, and walked away from the mansion. His face was full of shame, pain and anger. But he didn't express it. Only Sarah knew that his expectations had been hurt.
Jonathan hurried out of the mansion, in an attempt to plead on Sarah's behalf, and possibly bring him back. But it was too late. Kenny has already kicked his car, and departed out of the mansion.
Jonathan, who couldn't meet his friend again, grew angry and heavily shocked. He bounced back to the mansion, got into his parlor, and couldn't find Sarah there. Everything at this point to him, was now looking like a scenario of children playing hide and seek games. He knew where he could definitely find her. He went up to her room and there, he found her standing, and waiting for him.
''What has actually gotten over you?. Why did you chase my best friend away with your silly words?''Jonathan asked her, yelling. But she kept silent.
''I am talking to you, Sarah''He said, hoping for her to give a genuine reason.
''I just saved you from the worst human on Earth''She informed.
''What!. Do you even know what you are saying?''He asked her, thinking that she must be confused.
''Why did Sonia leave you in the first place?. Wasn't she satisfied with being with a wealthy man like you, or did she have another hidden agenda?''Asked, Sarah.
Jonathan kept silent. Wondering what was really wrong with her. From his observation, she wasn't in her right senses. He began to see her like someone who might probably be having some psychological imbalances.
''Mind the way you speak those words to me. You don't have any right to remind me of that, since you might never have a well grounded knowledge of what you are even trying to say''Jonathan highlighted, signaling a warning to her, never to trespass in that area of his affairs.
''Your ex-wife, Sonia, left you for a better option. She never loved you, and she never wished to even get married to you. As I am talking to you, I want you to know that the one whom you refer to as your best friend, is harboring Sonia, your ex-wife''Sarah told him.
''You are joking right?. I thought I just told you not to speak things about me, which you didn't have knowledge of?''Jonathan re-informed her.
But Sarah turned to him, and said
''Your best friend has betrayed you. He has stabbed your back beyond your comprehension. All your businesses shall be taken away from you, and you would become helpless like every ordinary man you know''Sarah said to him.
He looked at her. He was in shock. He raised his head up, shook it, and slumped on the floor.
