Chapter 60 - Volume 1: Chapter 60 - Want to Die? I'll Grant Your Wish

In the valley, rocks jutted wildly. Chu Chu and Seventh Princess saw a snow-white wolf king, as large as an ox, standing on a rock. Silver light continuously entered its body, then rippled out, enveloping dozens of wolf monsters below. The wolves greedily absorbed the spiritual energy in the silver ripples, gazing at the wolf king piously, as if in a ritual.

The two exchanged glances: this Silver Wolf King, Xiantian Third Grade, was absorbing heaven-earth spiritual energy and feeding it back to its pack—strengthening itself while empowering the wolves.

"Aunt, I'll take the wolf king; you handle the pack," Chu Chu turned to Seventh Princess with a smile. Their bond needed no words to know their roles.

"Good." Seventh Princess nodded firmly.

Like two streaks of light, they rushed into the valley. The Silver Wolf King raised its head, eyes fixing on them. Silver light暴涨 (surged) from its body, and thunderbolts burst from the diamond mark on its forehead, forming a rainbow toward Chu Chu.

Chu Chu sneered, swinging her sword. A bone-chilling qi burst forth, instantly covering the silver lightning. Where the icy qi passed, the lightning froze, like an ice bridge arching over the valley—Chu Chu on one end, the wolf king on the other.

Seventh Princess charged in, her sword slashing brilliant lights. Wolves fell wherever she went, littering the ground. In an instant, the frozen lightning bridge reached the wolf king.

Fear filled the wolf king's eyes; it turned to flee,不敢 (daring not) block Chu Chu's strike. But before it could move, its limbs froze,寒气 (cold qi) spreading up to turn it into an ice statue.

Seventh Princess finished off the pack, and they took the wolf king's core. Chu Chu offered it to Seventh Princess. "Aunt, you keep this. I'll take the next monster's core."

"You killed the wolf king—I can't take this." Seventh Princess refused.

"Don't argue. Everything in this valley—the monster cores, and you two—belong to me." An obnoxious voice sounded.

Startled, Chu Chu and Seventh Princess looked up to see Jiang Xuan standing above the valley, laughing triumphantly.

"It's you..."

"What do you want?"

They stood side by side, swords raised at Jiang Xuan.

Jiang Xuan stepped forward, landing before them. He eyed Chu Chu greedily, leering. "I want you to be my Dao companion and cultivate together." Turning to Seventh Princess, he added, "Your talent is too poor for a cauldron, but as a Great Han princess, you'll make a fine bed-warmer. A princess as my personal maid—imagine that."

"You're daydreaming!" Seventh Princess's face turned铁青 (livid), disgusted by Jiang Xuan's lechery.

"Aunt, no need to talk—use the sword intent in the wooden sword to send him to hell!" Chu Chu glared, eager to kill him.

Seventh Princess untied the wooden sword, gripping it tightly. "This sword intent failed to kill you last time, but no one will save you now."

"Hehe! I wouldn't come if I weren't prepared. Submit!" Jiang Xuan laughed, taking out a palm-sized black iron doll and tossing it. Golden light flowed over the doll, which grew rapidly into a ten-zhang-tall puppet shimmering with dark gold纹路 (patterns), exuding强横 (formidable) aura.

"Capture them!" Jiang Xuan grinned. This puppet, a treasure from his grandfather, had been unused last time. With a Myriad Manifestations puppet, what was a mere wind sword intent?

At his command, the puppet's eyes ignited with red flames. Its aura skyrocketed beyond Purple Mansion Realm, beyond Chu Chu and Seventh Princess's perception.

"A Myriad Manifestations puppet?" They exchanged震惊 (shocked) glances, unprepared for such a treasure—reclusive sects indeed had profound底蕴 (heritage).

The puppet charged, appearing before them in an instant. Its hands rose like Mount Tai, grabbing for their necks. The Myriad Manifestationscoercion (pressure) pinned them like two mountains, immobilizing them.

As the puppet's hands neared, Seventh Princess's wooden sword blazed, releasing a fierce wind sword intent that slammed into the puppet, hurling it dozens of zhang away. It crashed into the valley, shattering rocks. The wooden sword broke into powder.

Seventh Princess looked Dignified, turning to Chu Chu. "Third Brother's sword held only one wind intent. We can't defeat him together. I'll hold him off—run for the mountain exit, don't look back."

The puppet had withstood the intent, and Jiang Xuan still outmatched them—they faced a dead end.

Chu Chu nodded through clenched teeth. "If I escape, I'll ask Prince Su to avenge you."

"Hehe! Such sisterly love, but neither of you will escape—my word." Jiang Xuan clapped as the puppet in the rubble stirred, rising slowly. Though its chest had a deep sword scar, a Myriad Manifestations puppet's strongest trait was defense,炼制 (refined) by secret arts to be as hard as iron—even a same-realm expert couldn't destroy it quickly, let alone one wind intent.

...

In Moyun Ridge camp, Lin Yu suddenly opened his eyes. "The wind sword intent in the wooden sword I gave Seventh Sister has been triggered. That bastard is still after them!"

Killing intent blazed in his eyes. Since Jiang Xuan sought death, Lin Yu would成全 (grant) him. He left the tent as a shadow, vanishing into the night toward where the wind intent had dissipated, moving at极致 (extreme) speed.
